DESCRIPTION OF WORK
We had a slab vapor barrier issue, and water was seeping up from below, leavingcalcium deposits and water in the groutlines of the tiled areas. Carpeted areas had satirated padding, although the carpet remaind dry due to a moisture barrier. After a lot of research, I found Twin Brother's flooring, a company well versed in repair of water intrusion through the slab. Twin Brother's removed the exisitng tile, laminate and carpet from every room and closet in the house, ground the slab to remove exisitng sealant that did't work, applied multiple coats of acrylic sealant, then TraxxShield 100, a vapor barrier. After the vapor barrier was installed, Twin Brother's put in wood look tile throughout the main rooms, and carpet in the bedrooms.
