    Red Hot Solar Energy Inc
Great pleasure doing business with, quality customer service and knowledge from both Chuck and Kevin. We had a replacement of our old solar water heater with a brand new solar water heater for our solar electric system. Price was very reasonable compared to competitor quotes. Team was very efficient and did great educating my wife and I about upgraded parts, function of our water heater with the solar system, maintenance recommendations and possibility of federal tax credit benefits is applicable. Great job Red Hot Solar Energy Inc., and thank you!

    Therma Seal Insulation
I called Therma Seal last week to set up appointment for a estimate. I called 561-775-9703 and was transferred to Will. Will and I set up a day and time, but did not show up nor did he called to reschedule. I then called the office the next day and spoke with Jim. Jim seemed very bothered by my call and acted as if he did not want to accommodate me. Jim then proceeded to ask my address then asked the size of the home. I advised him that this was the reason Will was suppose to come out. Jim had no clue what he was doing. I then said ;well this seems a bit unprofessional and maybe I should consider another company'. Jim said ''yea you should'' then hung up on me. I do not recommend this company for any service, if the customer service is that poor and unorganized I can only imagine the quality of work Thermaseal provides.

    Energy Sheriffs
Sal came out initial with his guys to do the air test in Feb. He suggested we add insulation and repair all our doors that was leaking air. Sal and his guys were really friendly and very professional. After receiving our quote from Sal with pictures the next day we decided to hire them to do the work. Sal called me to explain exactly what they would be doing all day step by step. They showed up on time and again Sal was very polite and friendly. The work was completed that day and earlier then expected. He even replaced our recess lights with energy efficient ones at no cost. I would highly recommend this company.

I was told the team would be at my house between 8 and 9 AM and the entire process would take about 3 hours.  The two man team showed up at 8 ready to work with a warm welcome, identifying themselves, and began explaining the work that would be performed.
The test begins with an exterior inspection of the home and surrounding area.  Next was inspecting the attic, insulation, and air ducts.  A thermal reader and digital photographs are taken which are used to show you items identified during the testing.
Inside the house a negative pressurization fan is attached to my front door and powered on.  The AC is turned off during this process so it does not interfere with the testing, so consider a cooler day and not having young kids in the house if it is summer time.  This was not an issue for me but some 'food for thought'.
The team goes from room to room checking air ducts, doors, window sills and seals, caulking, cabinets, plumbing into the walls, and any other spot that might cause unwanted airflow, and identifying items that can be corrected to save money and be more efficient such as changing old vanity light bulbs that produce a lot of heat and create humidity.
Chris took the time to go through the house with me to show all the items the team discovered, answered all of my questions, and provided suggestions.  Upon completion a report is generated along with mediation suggestions, and if the company provides the service to repair, a price they charge to come back and perform repairs you select to be done.
There was no pressure to buy anything from them, no mess, and very informative.

    Solarshield Industries Inc
First and foremost, this was by far the best experience I've ever had with a contractor.  Frank McKinney and his crew (Frank Jr., Scott, Yacob, Ron, Tony, and Demas) were extremely professional, clean, dedicated, detail oriented, beyond friendly and personable, and just great guys in general.
Initially, I requested a consultation with Frank  based on the 80+ other excellent reviews he received on this website.  I am in Palm Beach County, quite a distance from Ocala, yet Frank and his son, Frank Jr. still arrived several minutes early.  From the moment I met him, I liked him and could tell he runs his company on a different level than your typical contractor.  Super friendly and thorough, you could tell this was not just a business to make money, this was Frank's passion in life.  He gave me 2.5 hours of his time.  Unlike other contractors that simply measured the square footage and then spit out a "cookie-cutter" estimate, Frank took the time to look at the finer details of the job.  I mentioned to him that my house was old and had 2 additions put on several years ago and really wanted to make sure the new roof tied these areas into the rest of the house.  Frank is a problem solver, a master craftsmen and made sure my concerns were heard, analyzed and carried out.
His estimate was higher than the other bids but with good reason, all details were considered and any potential set backs were taken into account.   He quoted for better quality materials and a more thorough installation process.   What you got was an actual bid that was realistic and I knew the job was going to be done to the highest level.  You get what you pay for and they sure did deliver.
A couple of points to mention why Frank and Solarshield  are so unique. One, he only has 2 crews and all are very experienced and have been working together for a very long time (the chemistry is unmatched, its like one big family) .  Most companies have 10 or more crews going at once and quality control can't possibly be met.  Frank has his hands in every aspect of the job so the accountability factor is huge.
Another point is that he has only one office person, Renee, is who is related to Frank.  You call up between 7am and 3pm and you know she will pick up or get back to you very quickly.  And they know who you are, you are not a number on the list.  I can 't tell you how discouraging it is to have a company come over and give a bid and then you call back a day or two later and you have to reintroduce yourself.  With Frank and Solarshield, you develop a personal relationship with him, Renee, and his crew.  Its very comforting to give a deposit and know you are going to be taken care of, with red carpet type service.
Frank and his crew completed my roof in just 4 days and Frank was there the entire time.  I regret not taking more time off from work just to hang out with crew and be around the installation process.  His crew are a great bunch of guys who know roofs, period.    They are courteous, friendly, and always willing to explain each and every process they are performing.  Frank even brought me up on the roof just to personally point out what they were doing and how the process was going.    They are not simply trying to cover your house with a roofing material, they are crafting a custom roofing system designed especially with your needs in mind.  Since metal lasts so long, you will probably only do the job once so why not do it with the best people and materials available.
I wish I had a second house just to give Frank some more business.   If you are considering metal roofing, without a doubt, call Solarshield , its the best investment I've ever made.
Thanks to Frank, Renee, and total crew for a memorable experience.  Well done!!!!!
