Our old disposal finally died after 10+ years. We have a contract with ECM so we called them. We were so happy as two days later we had a new disposal (very good brand) put in. We did not have to pay the serviceman as the contract covered the disposal. We also have a new washer that was covered by the contract. They gave us cash towards the washer we wanted. Just wonderful. Recommend them very highly.

    Sears Appliance Repair
Waited 2 weeks for appointment. 4 hour show up window. $100 trip charge- technician from A&E subcontractor from Sears. He said compressor and dryer-would be over $800. Refrigerator was 3 months out of warranty for compressor! I ordered compressor kit from Sears Direct Parts for under $400. Made follow up appointment, 1 week out this time, 4 hour show up window, another $100 trip charge. SAME technician came to install compressor. BEFORE he started installation of compressor, without even testing with a wigi- just looking in freezer compartment said it now needed an evaporator, $400! Looked online (Sears Parts Direct) $75 for fan motor $35 for harness. Told him to get out of my house and did not pay second trip charge! Can you say RIP OFF? I also called SEARS and made a complaint directly. Going to follow up with BBB as well.

    All American Appliance Inc
We had a problem that our freezer was not cooling and making noise. Their folks came out and diagnosed this as a bad freezer motherboard which they replaced for $329. This seemed to fix it. About 3 weeks later, the ice maker started spitting out ice without stopping. They came out again, diagnosed it as another electronic component. They did not charge for that service call but came out again a week or so later and replaced the component again for $222 at a regular charge. Then about 10 days later, the original problem returned in that the refrigerator was making a loud banging noise. When I called them, they said they could not commit to any type of warranty repair. This upset my wife who promptly took a screwdriver, opened up the inside of the freezer, and saw that the original problem appeared to be a leaky hose which was slowly dripping water down the back of the freezer inside and out, eventually blocking the fan from working. She fixed the hose with some plumbers tape and now everything appears to be OK. She has no training in appliance repair. I think the original problem diagnosed was not correct. I think this deal with the icing of the freezer was probably the original problem blocking the fan from working properly. I also think this problem should have been spotted in the first repair either way. It was pretty obvious to us once we looked, and it looked like it had been there for a while based on the water stains we saw on the outside. I think the initial resolution only appeared to work as the refrigerator was off long enough to melt the ice in the back enough so the fan started working again. I also find it odd that soon after the first repair a second repair was needed in the same general area but in a different part. I cannot say that it's not just coincidence, but our refrigerator is only three years old so it is odd. All that said, what really bothers me about this company was how quickly they threw their 30 day warranty in our face, that they seemed to take little responsibility for their prior work, that despite the urgency of the situation we were placed in the regular queue and told no one could come for 2 days, and basically were ready to come out and charge us again even for the service call (which I asked them to waive understanding parts is parts) but they would not commit to. It gave me the feeling like dealing with them is a buyer beware type of situation. I'd personally rather deal with a company that stands behind their work as a top priority. At this point we'd paid them $551 in total, the original problem returned as the repair was either incorrect or incomplete, and I suspect the second problem was related to the first repair. We will not use them again.

This is the second time I have used this company and I once again was not disappointed. Matt was on time, very professional, very reasonable and I am just glad I found this company to take care of my appliances.  I have recommended him to my neighbors and will continue to sing their praises,.

    Green Home Dryer Vent Cleaning
Every year, we have Mr. Greg Clark come to our house to do our dryer vent cleaning and dryer check. He always arrives on time, calling that he is on his way, too. He is very personable, very professional and very thorough. He takes his time and always explains what he is doing. As well, he is very neat and tidy, always cleaning up before he leaves. He will also remove the washing machine trap as it does accumulate "gunk" that can become quite odorous.
During this visit, Greg thoroughly cleaned the dryer vent from top to bottom. He also removed and cleaned my washing machine trap. He left my laundry room cleaner than it was before he arrived as he cleans behind the dryer as well.
Cleaning out the dryer vent is vitally important as this is a high risk fire potential. It is well worth the cost, which isn't that much, especially when compared to losing one's house, belongings, etc. If you want someone who knows what he is doing, cares about what he is doing and his customers and who is reasonably priced, call Mr. Greg Clark! He's the only I trust to do the job and do it right!

R & B Appliance deserves excellent in all categories. Matt arrived on time, was very professional, cost was reasonable and he worked from the minute he walked in my door. I chose them because they were rated so high on Angie's list and as usual I was not disappointed. Thanks to Matt for job well done and Angie's list for their recommendation.

Matt called me back the same day I first called him. He was able to get the parts and do the repair 3 days later. He arrived within the time window he quoted for our appointment and went right to work removing the broken glass and then repairing the oven door. The work took about half an hour and we are very satisfied with the results. Matt was courteous, personable and professional. We'll definitely be calling him again when we need service on our appliances.

    Aaron Refrigeration Service
The work was very lengthy because the lightning strike burned up a few things.  So the tech would replace one thing and check something else and replace that item-- until the fridge would start cooling.
He was very patient and thorough.

Matt came out and located the problem. He ordered the part and was ready to come back and do the repair in a couple of days but that did not fit into our schedule so he returned and completed the work as soon as we were able to be at home. He called to let us know he was on the way and was very professional.  While he was here he solved another problem the machine was having.
I will call on R & B Appliance Services again in the future.

I called Matt  based on recommendations from Angie's list.  My dryer had stopped heating and I had been thinking that it was past time to have the vent cleaned.  I called, left a message and Matt returned my call within the hour.  I told him what the problem was and he informed me that he also cleaned dryer vents.  We made an appointment for that same afternoon.  He showed up when he said he would,  determined that the heating element was no longer working and fixed that as well as cleaned out the dryer vent.  He cleaned everything up and my dryer now takes less than half the time than it was taking prior to having the vent cleaned.  It was also less money than I had anticipated.  Once again, Angie's list has enabled me to find quality service companies.  Thank you Angie's list!
