    I called to find out if they had what I wanted.  They said they did.  I said I would call back when I knew more details of exactly what I needed.  Once I found that out (a week or so later), I called back to tell the owner that.  I also said I would be out the next day to pick them up.  When I arrived, after borrowing a friend and his truck because these people have no way to deliver large orders, the parts had not been pulled.  They started on the job while my friend and I went to lunch at my expense.  This involved going back into Belleview, a distance of several miles.  After lunch, I bought gas for him to cover the expenses that were mine.  We returned to the yard and waited quite a while longer until the parts were brought to the front and loaded on my friend's truck.  When I went to pay for them with a credit card, the owner suddenly informed me that he didn't take credit cards.  That necessitated another trip into town to find a bank ATM.  Since the bank ATM didn't dispense over $300, I had to go inside and get the rest on my credit card, which involved service charges I could have avoided had I known all this beforehand.  There is no sign in the office saying they don't accept credit cards.  All in all, I waited about 4 hours to get the parts and incurred a lot of added expense.  I delivered the parts to the body shop that was going to do the work on my car on the way home.  I got a call from them about a week later to let me know that the only part I got that was going to work was the hood.  The rest of the parts came from a different car that was not even the right year!  I called the body shop to find out exactly what I was going to have to exchange and was given an incomplete list, which I didn't know until the next day.  I sent the man who works for me down to the body shop to pick up the parts to be exchanged on his way home and called Value Auto Parts to let them know that he would be out in the morning to make the swap.  When he got there, the parts on the list were ready; but there were extra parts that were needed that were not on the list.  Therefore, my man had to sit there for several hours while the parts were collected and loaded on his truck for delivery to the body shop.  None of this would have been necessary if this person had not tried to cheat me in the first place.  On the first trip I asked him why the parts were not ready to go, and he said I had called him several times before and never come to get them.  I reminded him that I had never told him until the day before I arrived to get the parts that I was coming to get them.  Once I said that, I expected them to be ready.  I think this is a poorly run business and that the owner does not mind at all if he gives poor service to his customers.
