    I have been going to various specialists at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville since moving here at the end of March 2015.  So far, so
    good.  The results from the course of treatment ordered by the hematologist have exceeded my expectations.
    As yet I have limited experience with the billing department.  I have taken the opportunity to consult with the finance office staff located in the Davis Building and they have been pleasant and responsive.
    I am disappointed that I am not able to use the Mayo Clinic for primary care because they are not accepting new Medicare patients.

    He is very clear on whatever he wants to do, what the plan, the treatment, whatever is going to happen. He is the one who takes care of you. He goes over your chart and what route he will be taking, I respect whatever it is. He is very flexible for working with appointments and stuff like that.

    I'm very satisfied with Dr. Luis Gutierrez. He had left our group that I was originally with and when he left I searched him out to find out where he went that's how totally satisfied I am with him. I've been with him for a good 15 years. He's the only one I see, I think there is another doctor there but I don't know anything about them. He remembers things that you told him. I just like his general attitude. He's very caring and he's not quick to write prescriptions or providing medications that you really don't need just to satisfy you because something's bothering you. I would give them a high grade.

    He takes his time with you even if he's running behind and he doesn't rush on you just to try to make up time. He gives you 100% of his attention and answers any questions you have. He has a good bedside manner. His staff are all good. I travel all the way over there to see him.

    He is very open. He takes walk ins or you might need to wait because sometimes they are booked up. They try their best to take the care of you. They either do blood exam and then they send it to the lab or they might do the blood test during the appointment or after because you need to be on fasting. They might ask to come the next day. He writes prescriptions for lab tests. They tell you what he thinks might be wrong or whatever. If something doesn't work he will tell us straight up. He is personal, honest and all around a good doctor.

    I was recommended to Dr. Solomon by a good friend. I had several unanswered questions after seeing other physicians for women's related issues. Dr. Solomon is very knowledgeable about certain areas of women's health that most others are not, so she was able to answer questions for which I had not been able to find answers on my own or through other physicians. I like the fact that Dr. Solomon is a female physician, so she has had personal experiences that help her relate to her patients. Dr. Solomon wrote a book on women's heath issues which the nurse provided to me as a part of my appointment. I found that resource informative and helpful. Overall, I was able to get the answers I had been seeking to optimize my health. In addition, Dr. Solomon willingly receives email inquiries with an established patient, and I was able to have additional questions answered in that manner as well, a few weeks after the appointment.

    We have been there neuromeres times for various members of the family for different things and they have always taken care of everybody. They have an overall good regard for patient care. In comparison to other emergency rooms and hospitals that we have experienced they have always just taken good care of members of my family. I have no complaints about them at all which is pretty rare. With any emergency situation if they are overloaded with traumas that day you are going to be sitting there for ever. I don't care if it is the best hospital in the world. I mean that is just reality. But they are absolutely punctual with in a reasonable amount of time. I have never in all, let me tell you we have been there a lot in the last few years. We have never any of us complained about feeling neglected or forgotten, you know what I mean. The punctuality and patient care is absolutely, it is definitely something that they prioritize.

    I was really happy to do the test in his office and he was incredible. He is very personable and that’s why I let him do the test. I was very comfortable with him and I would say one of schedules was rescheduled since I had work and there wasn’t any problem at all to reschedule me. The office environment was much more than I expected and everything he said was right on. The punctuality was great and I was not that punctual. Overall it was a wonderful experience and his communication is great since he made everything so very simple which was not the same with any other. The billing I rate highly since he gave me a flat rate and I would an easy yes to it.

    When the injury happened to my husband he actually had to wait about a week for an appointment and was already an existing patient. They scheduled the MRI and then we had to wait another week because Dr. McKay was travelling. When my husband went there Dr. McKay only saw one pair in the cartilage when he had two. He didn’t explain himself very well and then when they scheduled the surgery he was going to be travelling, so it was another three weeks. In his group there’s seven orthopedic surgeons and when we said that my husband couldn’t wait because he was in excruciating pain Dr. McKay said, "Well, he would have to go and see another doctor within that same group and then have to go through all the channels." He couldn’t even sit with another doctor and just pass on the MRI’s and this was because he was going on vacation. He expected my husband to be in pain for about 5-6 weeks before completing surgery on him. He's a very bad doctor. He's not available and has no sense of urgency, no concern for patients, and complaints.

    Sorry...first post for all the above. I have a L4-L5 root compression problem. Above is the whole story....he did nothing but give me an Rx for a Mylogram...which he said on the 4/13 visit he hadn't received the results of yet. I had the results in my purse because I personally had picked them up at the hospital where they did that CT.2 days after it was done.It was done on 3/23. GREAT FOLLOW-UP on his part...huh???? I experience pain when I walk more than a block ...which most times hits a 10 in discomfort level...If I lay down in bed or sit for about a half hour...the pain lessens to about a somewhat tolerable # 4 level. This condition has restricted my active style of life and social quality of I now need and use a walker to lessen the weight on left leg where the pain is referred to..
