After searching Angie's List and meeting 3 contractors and getting their quotes, we were happy to have John Villa and his crews on the job. The condo is in Lighthouse Point, 50+ years old and needed extensive updating as a seasonal home for us. John was great in communicating with us (cell, text, phone, photo updates). He looked after the needed drawings/plans and municipal and HOA permits/approvals. The scope of work included: -tear out, removal and disposal of complete old kitchen, vanities and shower, all doors, frames, all windows and entry doors, tile flooring including balcony, old ceiling and bathroom exhaust fans -open up the kitchen and install new cabinets, quartz countertop, new plumbing and electrical by code -install vinyl plank flooring with soundproof underpad -install new vanities and tile-in a new shower stall with frameless door-plumbing and electrical by code -install new hurricane-rated windows, doors and patio sliding doors -install new plantation shutters throughout -install new ceramic tile on balcony -install new doors throughout -install new baseboard and door frames throughout -paint everything throughout-reconsruct all closets. We are finishing our first full "season" in the apartment and love it. We've had family stay with us and take advantage of the second bedroom and bath. Everything works. We had a lot of ideas that John was able to do for us. But, we relied very much on John for suggestions, expertise and his experience.

Outstanding from start to finish. With wise guidance, we had coquina stone flooring removed from the house we purchased. Ricardo and his team masterfully installed beautiful wood flooring. We also remodeled the guest bathroom and Ricardo installed porcelain tile on the floor and shower area. The finished results are beautiful - quite a transformation! We will happily work with Ricardo again for the master bedroom and bathroom remodel. We can trust him, his work is outstanding and he does what he says he will do. Beautiful attention to detail. Could not recommend him any more highly.

The project was originally only going to be a bathroom remodel, new tile throughout the house and repairs to a back room that had been damaged by Irma. The age of my home combined with the fact that it had been some time since any significant updates had been completed meant that we hit quite a few snags along the way, some major and some minor. No matter, Willy and his team always went out of their way to keep the project(s) moving. Even working until 10pm one night to make sure that I had a working toilet. Having someone like Willy, who took the time to listen and understand what I wanted, share my vision for this house and would share suggestions or ideas... is truly priceless. Anytime I had a question or concern, Willy was always available to go over things and would address them immediately. I placed a great deal of trust in Mr. Bowen and his team and I was very happy with the outcome and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

The original quote was for $13000. He agreed to complete the job for $11000. He required a $6400 deposit up front which I agreed to. Two weeks later two people came to start the project of removing cabinets. He then had an electrician come in for the lights. The electrician was upset because Nixon did not supply him with the proper supplies. The electrician came back from Lowes with wires, still upset, when he then decided that he did not want to do the job and he left. Nixon then hired another electrician to complete the work. This electrician needed to be paid so Nixon asked If i would pay for it and he would deduct it from my total cost. I agreed and payed the electrician. Nixon then stopped responding. I had to find another contractor to complete the kitchen as I was unable to get in contact with Nixon. I went to civil court over this and he did not show up to court. An $11000 job ended up costing me $20000 because I had to pay the other contractor to finish. Nixon never came back to complete the job and would not return calls. I requested $5000.00 back and he never responded.

The project went great from the beginning to the end. What you see is what you get! Shelley is a real person, honest and fair, who is sensitive to your needs and willing to work with you on what you want (not overbearing on what she wants). She has great ideas. Very good at repurposing most furnishings that we already had and best of all she has a team of trustworthy professionals who do cabinetry, painting, tile work, wallpapering, granite (stone) fabrication, mirrors, upholstery, etc. etc. She oversees them and take responsibility for them like a GC. Her follow-up is impeccable. She was not a friend before so I write with total unbiased opinion. I found her on Angieslist. Highly recommend her for any of your design needs big or small. I would use her again in a second. We had a 2 to 3 month project that finished on time. There was one situation where a chandelier was damaged and she took care of it and replaced the fixture.....no questions asked. Can't say enough about Shelley McNaughton! YAY!!

Most importantly, I would totally recommend All County Contractors because the final product is exactly what I wanted and even a little more of what I didn't know I wanted! Everyone states that you should get more than one opinion of a job. During ACC's first trip to our house, we knew we wanted to do business with them. They were on time. "On Time" isn't alway a major priority when doing remodels but it's important to ACC and us as the customer. We tried getting other quotes but the warranty wasn't as we were promised with ACC, the schedule wasn't as fast, and the attention to detail wasn't quite as skilled. James is amazing. He lead the work at the house and was present everyday and is a part of a "top notch" construction crew. He always asked what I wanted and how I wanted something to look. After I gave my request, he made sure it happened. If he ever had doubt about my request, there was always a good reason about why it wouldn't work. He definitely knew what he was talking about because his explanation for saying "no" always had good reasoning. I completely trust his judgment. Work began and the amazing team had our kitchen demo done very quickly. They were very careful about covering the floor, setting up plastic to cover anything that didn't need to get dusty and clean up all messes. Install was started and a major "bump" was the hurricane. They worked on the kitchen as long as they could before the storm and started back as soon as everything was safe. I was shocked as how fast they got back to the job. We had other little blips on the radar, such as the tile being a complicated design but the backsplash came out perfectly. The cabinets needs some adjusting but they are exactly what I requested. Drawers didn't roll as smoothly as they could but James adjusted them and not they are as smooth as butter! Our sink didn't fit as expected but James didn't complain and made it work perfectly. Price is extremely important. All County was about $300 more an another quote we received. It was also a few thousand less a third quote. We went with ACC because they seemed to "have it together" better than the other companies. They explained that we weren't going to get nickeled and dimed over silly extras. They were right. We did purchase additional items above what they completed but that's because they are personal items such as the sink, faucet, cabinet pulls, countertop, and tile. This was my first remodel and I have no regrets. All County Contractors did an exceptional job. I want to "sit" in my kitchen and admire it. I love the work and fine details that made it perfect. I learned that no job works as planned. There will always be some big and little bumps as the work happens but in the end, I completely got the kitchen I wanted. Thank you All County Contractors.

The house we purchased had a very old screen enclosure. Our other house had a much newer one and it's obviously built much stronger so we opted for a total replacement. We got several estimates and overall decided to go with All County Contractors. We were pretty surprised at how smoothly the whole thing went. From demo to completion only took 10 days and it's beautiful. Their also very good with communicating all aspects of the work and their workers are excellent. We would gladly recommend this company.

Mario has a workman-like approach to all aspects of the job, helping to organize for the best order of completion, suggestions for where to save a few dollars, knowledge of codes to avoid going in directions which will not be acceptable. His work is precise, clean and organized, he works a predictable schedule, charges by the week for longer projects. He makes good sense and really knows what he is doing. Never disappointed, will not look anywhere else for carpentry, or a variety of other detail projects. He is the best!

Working with Hilder was a fantastic experience. I always get a minimum of three bids depending on the type of work that's being performed and I am glad I chose HT Builder. He is reasonably priced as well as easy to work with. He and all his crew always came as scheduled and finished the job on time and on budget. I wasn't hit with additional costs when he finished and all material used is high quality. My wife had the idea of her dream bathroom and HT builders created it. We are both terrible at making decisions and he came in with the most important input; type of tile depending on if it goes in the shower or on the floor, the colors and sizes as well. He chose the counter-tops, cabinets and other important accessories with our approval. His decorating experience saved us hours of endless choices and unnecessary anxiety. The only decision we were required to make was the wall color and if it didn't work, I can always repaint. I can deal with that. With the extension of the bathroom (we do live in a safe neighborhood but...), he did it in phases to avoid having a hole to the outside during the evening hours so we felt comfortable knowing the house wasn't an easy target to unwanted guests while we slept. The overall build-out was a big ordeal because it consisted of many pieces (demolition down to the studs and a new section of foundation and roof were added) and we were left in the loop as to each level but weren't burdened with the daily grind. I have and will continue referring HT Builders for any sort of contracting work.

We hired Access General Contractor through the reference of a friend. The did a fantastic job on our friend's Master Bathroom and an even better job on our Kitchen. They were prompt, clean and affordable. I would recommend them to my Mother
