  • Shoddy patch work on duct installation. System lasted for less than 4 months of operation. Wouldn't honor warranty. Seemed to be looking for a way out of taking responsibility from the jump. Just absolute trash. I even have pictures of the horrific job they did. Please try anyone else, you will be better off.

  • excellent. my AC was not working and it was leaking inside the house. given that I live in Florida and it's really hot outside, Douglas accommodated me, and showed up same day, fixed the problem, gave me an estimate of what the services would cost. He's reliable, trustworthy ( I can leave the house and go work and have peace of mind), very professional and knowledgeable. I recommend him without a doubt.

  • It was uneventful. The AC technician was new and I'd not met him before. He went to work right away and serviced the main air conditioner and found no problems. I signed for the service and he left. I will have to call again for our second central AC as I'd not specified I needed both units serviced on my original call request.

  • 0 friends 1 review 1.0 star rating 2/5/2017 Horrible customer service.... I have spent over $5,000 with this company just to have my unit break 3 times in 18 months.... Then when I paid for $900.00 extended service warranty... They came out on friday to have to fix a refrigerant leak... said they wouldn't fix part till Monday... Then my AC goes out again for lack of cooling refrigerant and they have audacity to want to charge me for emergency service and freon which I already paid for 30 days ago when they couldn't find the leak.... And they topped me off w freon on Friday its now Sunday and Hot again..... And I paid for the service $150 30+ days ago on top of the $900 extended service... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!!!

  • Called when they were about 15 minutes away and showed on time. Explained what they would be doing and showed me each test and procedure as they performed it. Very mindful of the work area and did a thorough clean up upon completion. Chad, the owner and John, one of his employees were friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. And most importantly there was no upselling or pushing for a service contract. This is a legitimate, honest business that I will certainly use to replace my current unit when the time comes.

    • THIS MINTZ COMPANY SOLD ME A  RHEEM AIR CONDITIONER IN MAY/2015 FOR $4000.00 IN WHICH I AM STILL MAKING PAYMENTS.  THIS MAY/2016, THE A/C STARTED FLOODING MY GARAGE SO MINTZ SENT OUT THE TECH WHO FLUSHED OUT THE SYSTEM. OK, FINE.

    THIS FRIDAY, 08/19/2016, THE A/C STARTED FLOODING THE GARAGE AGAIN. IT WAS JUST SERVICED 3 MONTHS PRIOR. I CALLED THE OWNER, THURMOND MINTZ, GOT AN ANSWERING MACHINE. I CONTINUED TO CALL HIM AND CONTINUED TO GET AN ANSWERING MACHINE.   AT THIS POINT, THIS YEAR OLD A/C STARTED MAKING VERY LOUD SOUNDS OUTSIDE, AND STARTED BLOWING OUT HOT AIR IN THE HOME. I CONTINUED TO CALL THURMOND MINTZ.  STILL, AN ANSWERING MACHINE. I TRIED EMAILING AND CONTINUED TO CALL.  THE GARAGE WAS FLOODED AND THE HOME NO LONGER HAD AIR  ANYONE, WOULD BE UPSET AT THIS POINT.   3 DAYS WENT BY, I HAD TO STAY IN A HOTEL AND GET MY ANIMALS OUT OF THE HOME.  ON THE 4TH DAY, HE EMAILED ME AND SAID SINCE I CALLED HIM 10 TIMES, HE WOULD NO LONGER SERVICE MY A/C AND GO AND FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX IT.
    SO, ANYONE WANT TO USE THIS COMPANY YOU BETTER THINK TWICE. TO GO OUT OF TOWN (FOR ANY REASON), AND NOT HAVE SOMEONE IN CARE OF YOUR COMPANY LACKS PROFESSIONALISM, AND AHS NO REGARD WHATSOEVER FOR ANY OF HIS CUSTOMERS.   I AM ALSO GOING TO COMPLAIN TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND MAKE COMMENTS ON YELP.   BUYER BEWARE-DO NOT USE "MINTZ HEATING AND COOLING" COMPANY.....OR YOU WILL GET SCREWED ON YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE.  I NOW HAVE TO FIN SOMEONE ELSE TO REPAIR A 1 YEAR OLD A/C SYSTE, AND IF IT IS A MAJOR PROBLE, THIS COMPANY WILL BE IN FOR A LAW SUIT!!!  GUARANTEED.
