    I paid $25 for diagnostic, witch it would have been applied towards the repair part, however, It wasn't worth to repair the washer because part and labor was going to cost as much as buying a new washer.

    Called Larry and left him a message. He responded quickly and was in the house within a couple of hours. Very personable guy. Fixed the problem and price was right. Explained to us what had caused the problem and gave us tips on how to improve the dishwasher performance. I would recommend him and use him again.

    What a pleasure to deal with Don. He did troubleshooting with me on the phone so he could bring the correct part with him when he came. He was prompt and saved my freezer full of food. I will now use him for all of my appliance repairs and recommend him to my friends.

    On a Saturday, our washing machine stopped running mid-cycle leaving our clothes sopping wet. It seemed the machine was shutting off as the unit was not draining. I called Abbott Appliance, but had to leave a message. They called me first thing Mon and offered to come out Tues. I was not able to be home on Tues, so they scheduled for Wed. The repairman called prior to coming and showed up on time. He determined the drain line leading to the pump was clogged and gave me an estimate. I authorized the repair and the total bill was exactly what he estimated. I cannot say whether the price was low, normal or high, but I didn't care. They saved me the aggravation of having to fix it myself. I would definitely hire this company again. In fact, this is the 2nd time I've used them (for a different repair), but failed to leave a review at that time.

    We called Whirlpool and they agreed to pay for the part since the appliance wasn't yet two years old.  They wanted to know who was doing the repair.  We stated, as we had been told, the it was A Plus, formally MASCO.  They sent the work order to MASCO, since that was the closest certified repair service.  When we confronted the A Plus repairman on a telephone call about the apparent misrepresentation as a certified dealer, he said we never asked him directly if he was certified!  In fact, we had shared the entire story of how our first repairer (who wasn't certified to repair Whirlpool appliances) had referred us to a certified dealer, because that was a requirement of Whirlpool.  We had called a telephone number we found online for MASCO, and evidently that number (it wasn't listed as an A Plus telephone connection), used a common answering service.
    We have now had the ice maker examined by MASCO and paid them a service charge.  They will install the needed part when it arrives and we will pay the instillation fee.  We are now hoping to have a functioning ice maker in the next few weeks and we are resolved to never call A Plus again.  He knew he wasn't certified to perform the service and proceeded to lead us on long past the time when he should have admitted he could not complete the job.

    The technician examined my refrigerator-freezer and honestly told me that my worn gasket could not be replaced at a lesser cost than buying a new or refurbished refrigerator-freezer. I do not think he charged me anything or I would have remembered. I later confirmed the opinion with a Sears repairman who came to fix another appliance of mine.. Everyone in the company was courteous. They invited me to visit their showroom but I decided to postpone replacing the fridge because although the gasket leaks a little, it still works well.
    My apologies to the company for not reporting until now, because I had not been to Angie's List in quite a while and when I came this time I saw the reminder to offer my opinion on the company. Thanks.
    They speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish, by the way.

    First time he was supposed to come by at 11am. After several attempts of contacting him, he showed up at 5pm and couldn't do the work because he was missing a part! We paid $40 for the gas so he would come back the following day. The following day he canceled an hour after our scheduled appointment because his girlfriend was in the hospital. The third time he canceled 20 minutes earlier because he had to go to the hospital. Overall paid him $40, got the work canceled 3 times and still don't have an extractor!! NOT reliable or punctual.

    This is a great family business. ��We were acknowledged as soon we arrived. ��Robert explained that they have been in business for just about his entire life (since he was 7 years old) ��He was very professional and knowledgeable about his products and helped us find the perfect vacuum for our house. ��Since we were installing it ourselves he provided extras we may need at no charge. ��We will be using them in the future.

    Technician (Bruno) was a professional and as it turns out, trusted adviser.  He analyzed the problem with my Bosch dishwasher and gave me guidance which he knew would send me shopping for a new machine rather than a repair.  This took business away from his shop - but it remained the right thing to do.  I am pleased to see people that do the right thing.  I will bring them other work in the future and have a chance now to say thank you by writing this article.
