AFor nothing more than his $200 roof inspection fee, Elvis thoroughly examined the roof of my mom's house that is currently for sale. He gave us excellent advice regarding the sketchy practices of contractors and realtors apparently common in south Florida. If it weren't for Elvis's input, my mother might have assigned away her insurance benefits to a corrupt roofing contractor and accepted an offer for her house 100K less than its true value. Just a great guy....

AOur Roofer recommended iMold.us and, after we contacted them, we understood the recommendation. They sent teams in to identify the mold areas and then define a remediation and repair plan. All areas of the plan were carried out with precision and quality work. Every evening they cleaned up the areas so we had no mess. After the remediation and an air check to determine that the remediation had worked , their repair crew cam in and curtained off all work areas so we had no dust throughout the house. In addition their system of paperwork is very user-friendly and easy to use. Irene Samol the Administrative Mgr. of Repairs made my life much easier due to the excellence of her system.

FBeware! Titan was one of a handful of remediation companies my wife and I called for a free inspection out of an abundance of caution due to some discoloration we noticed in the bathroom and in the drywall behind our washer/dryer where there had been an obvious issue prior to our renting. Some moisture readings were taken and based upon these readings the owner then outlined his $7,000 - $8,000 process for remediation. Knowing that mold detection companies can be something like the psychic mediums of the home-reno world (prone to exaggeration, mock-alarm, and showy yet useless detection instrumentation), we spoke with two other re-mediators and finally a general contractor in order to equip ourselves with additional opinions. The other mold inspectors found that we had moisture readings within normal range. The contractor recommended that we first cut into the drywall to diagnose whether there was a mold problem at all and then to locate the source of it if we were concerned. We did this and to our relief we found there to be no mold, just mildew. There were no leaks either. This project cost a few hundred dollars to cut and replace the drywall and baseboards. Not thousands. The more important reason I am writing this extremely negative review is because of the extremely disrespectful, aggressive, and unprofessional conduct by the business owner, who looked up the property owner's (our landlord) address (I'm guessing on the tax assessors site) and mailed them an intimidating and possibly libelous letter suggesting that there was a serious mold infestation where we lived. I received an alarmed message from our landlord demanding to know why we hadn't told them about a serious mold issue caused by our neglect. Of course, there was none. I was left to explain all this to a highly alarmed landlord. If you're wondering why your homeowners insurance premiums are so high in FL, there's a good chance it has something to do with the thousands of dollars in dubious claims that some companies are willing to submit and the greed that motivates the owners behind them. I should also mention that while in our home, the owner removed his mask twice, and in front of my pregnant wife. I have never been harassed in a way as sneaky, opportunistic and greedy as this. I strongly encourage anyone considering Titan to get the opinions of other companies before you allow Titan to go Ghost Busters on you and your insurance company. A quick scan of the other Google reviews gives a hint that this is their core business model. Shame on you, Titan.

AThe grade of A relates only to the initial flood clean up. Our insurance company highly recommended Damex for the repair work, too, but we haven't gotten there yet. However, we can vouch for their prompt response to getting the cleanup process going, and their communications are very good. They arrive when they say they will (every day initially to check on the drying progress). We found Robert to be professional and thorough.

AFred arrived exactly on time and brought his own equipment and setup efficiently. He was at the townhouse for approximately 3 1/2 hours inspecting every room and checking on the operational status of everything in the house he could visualize and reach. His report was detailed, clearly written and full of additional information and web links if I required more information. His price was very reasonable for the quality of the inspection. The report summary effectively provided me with a to-do list of minor fixes and repairs that I will schedule for after I close on the home. Fred went over the entire report before he left and gave me some great tips on home maintenance. He reread the report at home for accuracy and emailed it to me later in the evening. He was very knowledgable and patient with my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Fred for his home inspection services.
