TL;DR - You can accomplish your credit goals, I did with Scoreology's help. You can also stop scrolling and just hire them. You'll thank yourself later. I first reached out to EJ and Scott at Scoreology in May 2016. I was coming off a bad couple of years financially that left my credit in pretty bad shape. I knew there wasn't a magic wand to make the past magically go away on the credit report. I knew I was going to have to work for it but I didn't want to split my time figuring out the credit repair game with moving up financially and professionally. I wanted to find someone that I could trust, that knew how to approach my situation, and that I could let do their thing while I focused on getting my life back on track. In short, I didn't want some call center rep with little to no experience to just run a one size fits all playbook that they got from their manager, as if my credit file was some kind of iPhone that needed troubleshooting. EJ and Scott were exactly what I was looking for. There was a lot of conversation to start so they could understand what my goals were and what my current report really looked like (let me tell you it was a mess, none of the bureaus had information consistent with the other). We formulated a plan to get to where I wanted to go (my goal was to buy a house in a year). After those initial conversations, they worked in the background and I kept trucking at my new job. We set up monthly calls but after a while, I really didn't feel the need for them. I just scanned and sent them any letters I got in the mail pertaining to my credit. I could track the progress in the Scoreology client portal and I got alerts when they would send out dispute letters. A couple of times I wanted to know more so I called and EJ walked me through what they were currently doing. But for the most part, I just wanted to let the experts handle it. They were there to answer any question at any time, by email or phone. Eventually I decided to put off buying the house and go back to school. I called EJ to talk about student loans. Some time later I went to the dealership to service my very beat up old car and I got sold on trading it in for a new one. I literally sat outside of the dealership and had a conversation with EJ about what his thoughts were. You can't get that just anywhere. They treated me like family. I ended my service with Scoreolgy in 2017 because I was preparing to go back to school full-time and switch careers. I needed to cut down on every expense and buying a house was certainly not going to happen now any time soon. Cancelling was as easy as a pleasant wrap-up phone call and email from them to reach out if I ever needed them again. I did it. I spent some time in school (software development) then got an entry level position for a bit, worked my tail off, got promoted and effectively switched careers. A few months ago I was incredibly blessed to get a fantastic (and stable) position and, just like that, I was back to the goal of buying my first home. EJ had done wonders on my report before I left but we weren't done yet and I wanted to make sure I was ready. Some time had also passed so that always helps as well. I called them back up and Scott and EJ welcomed me back after almost 2 years like I was their only customer. Like a friend you lose contact with for a while but when you do meet up, it's like no time has passed. They got to work and today, after a few months, I canceled my service with Scoreology for the second time. Today, with as clean a report as I could possibly have, I started the process with my mortgage broker. You can do it. There is no magic wand, it takes time, it takes effort. Sometimes one goal gets replaced with another for a little while but it doesn't mean that the first goal isn't going to happen. You don't want to do it alone though. Let EJ and Scott handle the credit stuff, you get to work on the life improvement stuff. Together those goals will happen. Yeah, I can safely say I recommend Scoreology :)

Golden Retriever feathers were not cut properly. I have had our dog cut several times by this company. I reminded them to trim her feathers as I did not want her looking like a Labrador rather than a Golden Feathers were not done correctly and company said we waited to long to have redone for free as dog would needed to be re-bathed and blow dried. They are the professionals and should have let us know if they did not understand our requirements. Once again this company has groomed our dog in the past with no problems Not a professional establishment. Cluttered

Was charged from Sprint and not even have an account with. Two different translations 611$ and 117$. No overdraft setup but did go through, how? No body said anything/ no call no email. Just call from the rep. That my account paid in full and if I want to continue to maintain it. ***. I set small direct deposit for minor stuff and was thinking that got some money. And rep said it is to late to charge back. ***. Not to late for me. Will contact legal rep to resolve this.

    Cardinal Advisors
In this very confusing area of supplemental insurance to go along with Medicare, I was very fortunate to find this group. After speaking with several other agencies all offering 'advise' I felt like I was being sold a used car by very hungry car dealers without my best interest in mind. Upon checking Angies' List I found the information on Cardinal Advisors. Upon contacting them I spoke with Barbara. She made this daunting task very comfortable. She worked thru all the options making the entire process very understandable. She spent a lot of time graciously answering questions and finding the coverage that would work best for me personally. We have had numerous conversations by phone, and email, as she worked hard to fine tune my coverage. I have had the opportunity to speak to others in the office and they all have the same caring, confident, ready to help attitude. Highly recommended.

They were able to pinpoint the very issues that were affecting me from other opportunities. We created an action plan and have since resolved every item that was derogatory. I had several medical collection accounts on my report and we were able to get them removed with their help. The turnaround time for the results was quite quick since I was waiting to be able to purchase a home. I have referred them to more than one family member since!

The service was free and very comfortable, which is huge, considering we were discussing finances. I have limited resources, but I never felt stupid or unimportant. I'm on the right track, and I am thrilled about it.

We met Steve while he was out knocking on doors to meet prospective clients in our neighborhood.  It really was a chance meeting but has turned out to be a huge blessing. We were new to the area and happened to be looking for a Financial Planner.  I've had less than good experiences with ones I've worked with in other states.  Steve explained the types of services he provides and suggested a 'no obligation' meeting.  We had that meeting and I brought along our finance info for review.  Steve owns an Edward Jones franchise in Maitland so we met at his office there.  He was very knowledgeable and thorough. After discussing our goals we worked through a plan on how we could meet them and what steps we needed to make to do that in the coming years.  He said he would run them through a computer model he had which would produce a report.  I received the report a week or so later and it was excellent.  Steve and I discussed on the phone.  I was able to transfer some of my 401K accounts to him at no cost.  The thing I most appreciated is that he was willing to not only look at my company's 401K plan investment options but make recommendations based on my goals.  I had always wanted a planner who would be willing to do that but since I knew there was 'nothing in it' for them had never found someone.  Steve was the guy.  He's been our Financial Planner for close to a year now.  His recommendations have been solid.  My accounts are outperforming what they were prior to working with him.  I am very pleased with his service. He is very genuine, not pushy at all and I feel he is very sincere in wanting the best for his clients based on their needs and not on his financial gain.  He has called with recommendations and most of the times his calls are just to see how we are doing and discuss where things are with our accounts.  I highly recommend Steve.  I have already recommended him to family and friends - even those in other states since he is licensed in most, if not all, of them.  Give him a call; make an appointment and sit down with him.  I'm sure if you do so, you will be the next person here making a recommendation here too :)
