All Kinds of Blinds of South Florida Inc
Angela was very pleasant and professional. She helped us to choose the right materials and provided estimates of dates for the install. The shades were installed on time and even helped with the removal of the old ones. We highly recommend All Kinds of Blinds for shades installation.

    Tiffany Fabrics & Upholstery
Sofa and still is a horrible job. They made my pillows smaller than they were originally with rounded corners instead of corners as they originally were. They were suppose to fix what was broken in the sofa and it never was. The filling they used was old - which I pointed out after opening up myself - and they did repair. First attempt at the curtains - were just wrong measurements even though they came out three times to measure. 2nd time - material that was added was going the wrong way. Installer wore dirty shoes on my white carpet even though he was asked not to. Although Tiffany did try to fix the situation (the sofa was a lost cause - even though they did replace some of the old cushions that was "recycled" and yellow) - the price was ridiculous for the quality of workmanship. Third time - they flipped the material but iron marks were all over the material. 4th time they made me brand new curtains and they did come out nice - Was I happy? No, paying that price I shouldn't have gone through all that. I should have been given a discount or a refund on something. I spent 4k on a brand new sofa today as the one they redid - quality wise is so subpar. I provided Ethan Allen material to do it - so it cost me quite a bit. Anyway, at the end of the end I would not recommend. Installer left cracks and holes in my walls - even though Tiffany offered to fix ....I didn't want them in my home anymore and nor did I want anyone else trampling on my white carpet with sparkle and paint. It was an exhausting ordeal.

    Tony's Unique Upholstery
It has been a pleasure and it's a 5000 sq + ft house so I will be hiring them to complete our home for us. They are kind, respectful, punctual and professional. Would HIGHLY suggest hiring them. I wish I could post photos of how beautiful my husbands office and living room turned out.

I previously used this provider in 2012. This time it has not gone well, deposit paid on 7/2/16. Despite numerous phone calls, as well as calls to Hunter-Douglas customer service, the product was never delivered. Numerous excuses such as 'my order stolen from his truck', and a 'new baby' have for some reason prevented delivery of the product or refund of the deposit. Complaints filed with Hunter-Douglas (not useful), BBB, as well as Florida Agriculture Department Consumer Protection. Please note that further investigation turned up that this company did not file any corporate return with the State of Florida after 2013.

Budget Blinds of East Ft Lauderdale & Pompano Beach
I had a great experience with Budget Blinds. Mallory, the designer/sales rep, was terrific: good ideas, patient, prompt, and even came back a second time to insure measurements were correct and I was happy with the materials I had chosen (as I changed my mind a few times). The installers also were prompt, efficient, did a good job and tried to keep the areas as clean as possible.

It's always great to deal with All Kinds Of Blinds! My first experience was 2 years ago when I bought my new house and I liked dealing with them so much that I called them again to do work in my old house that I was renovating. Angela, Phil, Ryan, Joanne and Sal have all been super friendly, responsive, creative and very helpful. I feel very comfortable recommending All Kinds of Blinds.

The person who installed my Plantation Shutters was very quick, and very accurate at the same time.

The Plantation Shutters are very adjustable - both vertically and horizontally (fold inward). This makes it easy to clean, and able to adjust for sunlight and vehicle headlights.

I would recommend Budget Blinds to anyone looking for items which Budget Blinds sells. Also, my FPL bills have decreased more than 15% since purchasing these Plantation Shutters.

    Open House Interiors
Our experience with the purchase of Skyline Hunter Douglas blinds from Open House Interiors was less than ideal.  We had an old one-piece track system for our 12 foot slider that we were looking to replace.  Ralph, the representative from the showroom came to our home to take measurements and verified over the phone that a one-piece track system would be available in the size that we needed.  We overheard him explain on the phone that he was ?looking at a one piece track now? as he was talking to I assume someone from the showroom.  When the order was delivered, however, the track came in two pieces not one piece as we were led to believe.  When the first installation was attempted the installer had great difficulty managing it on his own.  He was obviously very frustrated as this should have been a two man job so I stepped in and told him that this didn?t need to be done today if he couldn?t do it himself as I wanted it done right.  He continued his attempt to install it and the track broke.  The second installers came with a new track after several weeks and installed the blinds.  When I arrived home I noticed the chain that connected the blinds was dangling from the track, the blinds wouldn?t open all the way and the pieces of the track did not line up.  At this point we went to the Open House Interiors and spoke to Ralph who directed us to John the owner who insisted that he wanted us to be happy and would make it right.  The third installers came with a new track after several weeks and installed the blinds, but this time the blinds were installed with a gap of about 1 inch from the track to the ceiling on each side with wood shims visible.  In addition one of the brackets was attached to the ceiling but was not attached to the track.  My now I was very annoyed.  I expected that the track may not be completely flush with the ceiling however I couldn?t believe that a bracket was not attached to the track.  In addition the gap between the track and the ceiling was far greater than I ever could have imagined.  They agreed to come back
and make sure the bracket was attached to the track but I was told that since our ceilings were ?wonky? there was nothing else that they could do to rectify the issue with the gaps on each side. When I spoke to John he suggested that we have a contractor add a skim coat.  There is no way that a skim coat would fill a one-inch gap.  Then he says we should have our contractor fix the ceiling.  It?s obviously too late at this point to add drywall to the ceiling since the blinds are already custom measured and won't fit if we make any changes.  John doesn?t provide any other options to make this look better.  A valance maybe?  Some type of facing for the track perhaps?  Nothing?..So now I need to hire a contractor to build something around the track to cover this whole mess.  While I certainly do not hold Open House Interiors responsible for the fact that my ceilings are ?wonky? I do hold them responsible for not delivering the product in one piece as we were led to believe or telling me that I need to level my ceiling prior to ordering this product.  In my view the ceiling looked perfectly level however Open House Interiors deals with construction issues everyday and should have the knowledge and expertise to guide their customers through an appropriate installation.  In retrospect I should have asked more questions and insisted that what we agreed to would be in writing.  We had a contract of course but I should have stated that the track be in one piece as we agreed to.  In addition, Open House Interiors could have handled their attempts at installation in a more professional manner.  One attempt after another with nothing but problems.  We paid over 2,000 for there blinds and I would expect a professional installation and quality product.  Neither was delivered and we won?t be using them again.

    RH Installations
I highly recommend using RH Installation's services. Bob is responsive, reliable, timely and most importantly does a great job at a fair price. He went out of his way to help repair my shades and saved me money in the process. It's hard to find great service these days so I'm thankful for finding Bob on Angie's List.

Working with Carlos was great...  He came out in August for the initial quote, which was about 15% less than the nearest competitor even both with AL discounts.  Pricing was very clear, quote was detailed and the measurements were exact.  Since they are custom built to the exact dimensions, they took some time to be manufactured and installed a couple months later.  Well worth the wait!
Carlos was incredibly helpful as we changed our minds a few times on some of the options, but everything came out perfect as planned.  Was on time for the installation and communication with him was perfect.  These shutters have really changed the look of the rooms and they look fantastic.  The quality of the shutters are very nice as well - they feel solid and have a smooth operation.
If you want a hassle-free, clear and very reasonable price for plantation shutters - Carlos is a great option.  Very nice guy as well. He earned the project and will earn future business from us if we move or need other window treatments.
