    Unfortunately I did not get the good work from this company. In fact the baseboards were put on terrible. It is sad as the owner was told immediately when it was done how the work was perceived. He states that the painters will calk it and it will look fine. Yet there were area's that had quarter in gaps from the tile to the baseboards. Some corners not flush. He was in a hurry and did not dig any of the tile grout to make the baseboard flush. as he stated he was going to do. The painters came and also stated what poor workmanship was seen.. The owner, Brian, said he'd fix it but never came back to do so..never answered texts or phone calls. But he was paid in full. Beware and know what needs to be done..I learned a lesson!

    I've used Miguel probably 2 dozen times for a huge variety of repair project, big and small. He is always prepared, on time and with a positive attitude and is perfect for 2 man projects. Miguel works quickly and professionally. Even though I could do these projects myself, they would take my entire weekend and drag out the completion time. I'm better off calling Miguel to take care of everything from hanging curtain rods, fans, lighting, fixing plumbing, repairing bathroom tile, painting, sprinkler repairs, fascia repair, changing locks, hanging doors, and designing and building a built in booth table.

    I was very, very pleased with the work of Preventative Maintenance Support Services (PMSS). ��The owners Kris and Sherry were responsive at all times and their crew was professional, punctual and very neat. ��I interviewed several companies before selecting PMSS, but PMSS seemed to best understand the problem. ��I appreciated that the owners gave me the best and worst case scenarios and pricing since they could not know the full scope of the problem until they opened up the areas of deterioration. PMSS also took pictures along the way to let me see the full extent of the damage and how the repair/restoration was proceeding. ��While ultimately the damage was not the worst case scenario, the pictures were extremely helpful in understanding the work being done. There were torrential rain and pending hurricane delays throughout the process and PMSS kept me informed of their schedule and did a great job securing the work during the delays. ��Nor did the company charge me anything additional for problems/delays that were not within their control. ��I highly recommend this company.

    After about 6 months we started noticing that a special finish he put on our driveway started to peel up and the paint on the back side of my home started to bubble up. I have been trying to contact the provider for the last year and a half with no answers. At the time of the service he stated that his work would last for at least 5 years and if any issues came up who would make any necessary repairs free of charge. He has basically vanished and we can't find anyway to contact him. I now have to pay for someone else come out and fix his mistakes.

    We were starting the work in November 2007. The "team" came and did the demolition. We were told a few days later that not all of the city's permits had come through. Both my husband and I wondered why did they start the demolition if they did not have all the papers in hand. Designer had to have changes made for city approval. The actual construction started 3 months later. Yes we lived with all of the debris during those 3 months. No one came back for the garbage and soda cans left in the apartment. I am sure that they thought they would be coming back soon but neither the GC nor the project leader ever came back to make sure that all of the debris was gone. When the construction started, the people who probably would have worked on our place were on other jobs. By this time, there was a different project leader. We thought we were hiring the Yankees team and instead got a farm team. The subs that were used did not show pride in their work nor did they always use common sense. They arrived at their convenience not always when it was the right time in the project. We would see a worker and then not see someone for a week or two - a lot of gaps in the time and gaps in the quality of the work. As I mentioned before we got a farm team. The person who did the bulk of the plastering, painting, hardware, etc. was a very nice young man who only spoke Spanish. He would come in by himself to do all of the work. He was not a professional plasterer nor painter. He was a hard worker but not qualified to do interior work by himself. He would come for a few hours a day to do the work alone. When we hired the GC, we were told that there would always be a project manager supervising - that was not the case. Things had to be redone. We were the ones to find the mistakes. They often left garbage. One time there was some painting that was to be done - workers showed up the GC but they did not have paint so he sent them home! The plumbers and the electricians had to come back to redo some things. It did not make sense to us that we had to pick up the mistakes and not the GC. The backsplash in the kitchen had to be redone. I contacted the manufacturer as I knew there was a mistake. The GC said that the tile people followed the directions. They had not. The carpet and tile was put down early on. The workers did not protect the floor causing us to have a dirty new carpet. Workers did not care. The Carpet was also put in wrong. We could not wait for the GC to have the cleaning crew come. We wanted him out. Once the workers left, we found so many more errors -- one wall had a very visible line. It was never pointed out to us. Grout in the floor tile is gapping. The workers had moved our furniture during the remodeling. We have now found that they ripped the bottom of our couch and our bed. Again, this was not pointed out to us. There was no concern for our property nor the fact that our lives were on hold.

    We had a big mess in garage. The guys from Garage Makeovers, Inc. came over and installed overhead storage racks and shelving on side walls. It was like getting another garage bay. I now can bring in both my cars. Got me organize to get rid off of junk and stuff I need is nicely hidden. In the waste space in ceiling I had. The overhead racks are mounted from ceiling. Best value I seen out there for getting garage organized and clean out; next project I am doing with these guys is flooring. They have beautiful tile that my neighbor installed. They did a big garage makeover.

    Bob submitted a detailed, professional proposal so that there were no surprises. The projects took six weeks, and there was no down time or wasted hours. He prepared my condo very well; he tented the living and dining rooms, protected the existing floors and furniture, and everything was always as neat as possible. He communicated extremely well. I always knew the schedule, and he and his sub-contractors were almost always on time. He selected competent sub-contractors who instilled trust and scheduled them carefully so that the work was performed in a logical step-by-step process. The demolition was fast, and a "junk" company picked up all the pieces promptly. Bob knew what had to be done to please the city inspectors and win their approval. There was a lot of preparatory work and the projects had early, middle and completion stages. All of this went smoothly and to my satisfaction. I recommend Bob Emery to anyone who chooses to undertake an interior remodeling project.
