    Chip's Clips
I have been having my Goldendoodle regularly groomed for the last year and a half - some have been amazing and some have been okay. This alleged grooming was a disaster. The dog is totally out of proportion and I can now enter my dog into the "World's Ugliest Dog Contest!" I would post a photo, but I don't want to scare anyone. I used to think my dog was the prettiest Goldendoodle I had ever seen - now he is the ugliest. You can assuredly find a better alternative than this talentless alleged dog grooming enterprise! Of course I only spent a mere 80 bucks for the privilege of having my dog look horrible for the next few weeks.

    Advantage Pet Center
Angie's List states Advantage Pet Center is INSURED. I would like to know what type of insurance because Advantage Pet Center is unwilling to provide me with a copy of their insurance. My cat "Henry" passed away at Advanced Pet Center in July, 2017. This company failed me and my cat. The groomer put my cat into a no-heat dryer cage for 1 hour to calm down after the groomer claims my cat became "panicky". 1 hour later when the groomer came back to check on my cat, my cat had passed away of a heart attack according to the Necropsy report conducted by my Vet . While my cat lay in the unknown dryer cage, I was NOT called to come in and pick up my cat nor did Advantage Pet Center get medical help for my cat while my cat was having a medical emergency. My cat was not checked on and they did not seek medical attention for my cat, Henry. I have asked the newest general manager on site at Advantage Pet Center "Brooke" for a copy of their Liability Insurance. I was told by Brooke: "We are a corporation and there is nothing we can provide to you. My next question to Brooke was: "So if a pet is either injured or passes away while at Advantage Pet Center, there is nothing Advantage Pet Center can provide to me showing Advantage Pet Center has insurance?" Brooke replied again with "We are a corporation. There is nothing we can provide to you." My next question to Brooke at APC: "Do the groomers at Advantage Pet Center carry their own personal liability insurance?" I received the same response from Brooke: "We are a corporation and there is nothing we can provide to you." How can Angie's List state Advantage Pet Center is "Insured" when I cannot get a copy of their insurance? Advantage Pet Center is unwilling to provide a copy. Do they have Insurance? Do they carry Liability Insurance as a Corporation or do the groomers have their own Personal Liability Insurance? IF so, what is the "effective" date of the insurance? NEXT: Your Angie's List website claims "Ann" is the contact for Advantage Pet Center. Ann Stewart deeded Advantage Pet Center to: STORE MASTER FUNDING I LLC C/O PETSUITES OF AMERICA LLC 535 MADISON AVE STE 300 COVINGTON KY 41011-1680 in November, 2016. Ann longer owns this Advantage Pet Center business.

WARNING TO ANONE TAKING YOUR LOVED ANIMAL TO THIS PLACE!!!!! My cat passed away from a Heart Attack while being groomed last week. (My veterinarian performed a necropsy and confirmed the heart attack) My cat went for a grooming last Wednesday at 10am. At 1:30 p.m. I received a call from Bruce stating my 6 year old cat had passed away during grooming. I have spoken to the regional manager (Denise) and she is uncooperative at best. (According to Denise, basically I'm making more out of this than it really is) I don't see it that way since I no longer have a cat. My cat was 6 years old and had been groomed there eight times previously. However last Wednesday something went horribly wrong. I've been told by the regional manager when my cat started to panic they put him into a no heat dryer cage for 1 hour to calm down. These are the questions I have asked APC employees and Denise at Advanced Pet Care Center: 1. Why wasn't I called when my cat became panicky or obviously when you knew there was something wrong? I live 5 minutes away and I would have picked up my cat and taking him immediately to the vet. 2. Why was my cat put into a (no heat but with fans) dryer cage for 1 hour to calm down? My cat had a large travel cage he should have been put into, something familiar instead of a dryer. 3. Why doesn't Advanced Pet Care conduct incident reports when an animal passes away at their facility? 4. When my cat was dying in the dryer cage was there any pet-tech sitting by my cat to make sure he was okay? Obviously not, because my cat passed away. 5. Why can't I speak to Nick the groomer to find out what truly happened to my cat? A necropsy report was conducted at my veterinarian's office and it was determined my cat died of a heart attack. The report also indicated my cat's heart was too small for its Maine **** body. I understand this now but what I don't understand is the lack of compassion or why I cannot get answers to my questions above. If you truly love your pet you will reconsider taking your pet to Advanced Pet Center.

It went very well. Both dogs are rescues so they have "stranger" issues. The groomer took her time and worked with each dog. She did an excellent job and on top of all of that they came to my home. We love them and have our dogs on a regular repeating schedule now. Very happy!

    PAWS INN PARADISE PET RESORT
My cat came home with some tissue missing from her nose and I just didn't think that they were doing a great job. I mean there were several people there, just everything from making reservations and visiting the place; but picking up, it was disappointing to see. And of course they denied that she'd ever been around another cat. It just wasn't done and they denied all responsibility. I just left them and hung up.

    Prestige Pet Care
We were in need of a groomer for our pupster. The groomer we had an appointment with had cancelled twice on us and our little doggie was starting to look like a tumbleweed. I called Prestige Pet Care and they got me in the same day. I appreciate them coming through and taking care of us. Ill certainly be using them again! If youre in the need for grooming, Id certainly give them a look.

    Dog Gone Gorgeous Grooming Salon
They charge by the weight of the dog. I just started going to them a couple months ago because my other groomer was charging me $85 for a yorkie. They don't use cages, unless you want them caged. When I went to pick up my dog, he was walking around like he owned the place. They treat the dog like it's their's. They take care to make the dog comfortable and really try to pamper them while they're there.

Absolutely wonderful - You will not find a more caring and compassionate groomer than Linda! I took my aging dog with chronic bronchitis and COPD in to be groomed. I selected Prestige Pet Care because it is important for me to reduce my pup's level of stress and anxiety. After reading the reviews and talking with Josh, I felt very comfortable taking my pup in for his much-needed grooming appointment. Unlike other grooming facilities there are no cages, grooming is completed within 2 hours, your pet receives dedicated, personal care, and their prices are very reasonable. Josh and his mother, Linda were very kind, understanding and accommodating. Josh was also very helpful in sharing pet resources I might look into, since I am new to the area. Linda was extremely patient, kind, and understanding. When I picked up my pup, he was not the least bit anxious and looked absolutely wonderful again. I cannot say enough "great things" about Linda. She cared for my pup as if it were her own. Do not hesitate to have Linda groom your fur-baby. You will be very pleased with your decision.

It took about three hours total for my two long haired chihuahuas to be bathed and brushed very well to remove all the dead and loose fur. I picked them up in great condition! Their fur was much softer and they haven't shed nearly as much fur since. The fur around their feet and ears was also trimmed and I have to say they look so much cuter when you can see their little toes! It has been four days later and they are still soft from the conditioning. I will definitely be back for their second grooming.

Mother and Son run grooming and dog sitting business out of their condo. They were dog sitting for at least 10 other dogs. They were gated off all together in the kitchen. Mother did great job on dogs. It took 4 hours. Son was very uptight, worried about neighbors hearing the dogs bark, didn't want me to enter the condo, wanted me to drop them off outside. He was disrespectful to his mother and me. Would not recommend to anyone.
