    Monarch Stucco & Stone Inc
Contacted Joe at Monarch through Angie's List and texted photos of the area in question. He called back within 30 minutes with a great price and said he could perform the repair the next day. He did a great job at a great price and outstanding speed. It just does not get any better than that! Would definitely use them again and heartily recommend Joe & Monarch.

John Webster Lath & Stucco Inc
Owner on site with workers, took old siding off, and then prepared house in layers, 3 inspections. While taking the last sections of siding off, workers managed to bend a water spigot, and it was leaking inside the house for 3 days (during a hurricane before i found it leaking). Haste makes waste true words, they covered the cost. After all was supposedly done, the Weep Screed had a gap of almost a whole inch and I could put my fingers up and behind the stuccoed wall and feel the plywood, which meant that moisture and bugs could get in too. First time owner had 2 guys come out, NO phone call, and they jumped my fence which was padlocked. They tried to make a seal using everyday caulking and expanding foam which IS NOT GOOD FOR OUTSIDE with moisture. A lot of this caulking feel out right after they left and the expanding foam filler dilapidated within a weeks time. Second time owner and one worker came out to repair, again they used a subpar product. Third time owner came by himself, he used a stucco mixture to fill the gap that went around the WHOLE house. And it was at this time I'd also let him know there were spots that needed retexturing as some of the guys during the hurrying we're going home, sprayed water on some areas and it just needed to be fixed. Owner said I was Nit picking, and he wasn't going to come out every 30 days, this is a quote. I'd finally had enough of this company and agreed, told him goodbye and to myself I never wanted him on my property again. About a week and half had gone by and the Appraiser/Foreman and Wife of company said they didn't like how things ended and I'd agreed to this, I didn't either. They wanted me to be happy and he personally came out to fix the texture as well as he was the one to come out, locate the outlet, and repair the wall afterwards. During this project I was not obligated to pay anything until job was completed, so about Half way through this project the owner asked me if I could help him with his payroll about 4 p.m. on a Friday. Totally caught by surprise, I raced to the bank for a certified check for $7,000.00 which should be more then enough to cover 3 payrolls. Within 2 1/2 hours of getting the check from me the owner and his guys who ever took the check, LOST the check. After searching and not finding the check, again the owner asked if I could use my credit card to help him. Again I did help, gave my credit number up and all. (Next day cancelled card) While I was putting paint on the new stucco, 60 days later it was during this time that I'd found out, They managed to cover a live outlet on the outside, and fortunately I had been taking pictures so it was easier to locate. I will be painting this area again in another couple weeks.

If went really well. The windows and door are beautiful. The scheduling didn't always go as planned but there was a lot of rain those few weeks. They boarded up the window openings when they weren't working and protected the inside from the rain. The windows were finally installed the day Hermine came into the area. They held up well during the storm.

    CCI Painting Services
Once again, Rich and his two long-term employees from CCI Painting did a PERFECT job. Our house was expertly prepared and painted to include trim and five sets of French doors. I cannot find a single drop of paint or overspray anywhere, the cleanup was thorough and the large volume of paint chips that came off during the pressure washing were cleaned up and hauled away.

    Artistic Pavers & Surfaces Inc
I received an estimate from John to excavate my current deteriorating asphalt driveway, concrete walkway, and paver entryway. I was surprised that the price was lower than expected. I visited the showroom and was able to select from several styles of pavers. I was thrilled to be able to get brick, and laid at a 45 deg angle for no extra charge. It took a few weeks before I could schedule because of the permits. A hay bale was delivered for some reason that the city required, but Artistic Pavers never used. No big deal. The excavator arrived promptly on day 1 and had the entire 900 sq. ft. area cleared by lunchtime. A flatbed arrived with the pallets of bricks. Later on day 1, a dump truck arrived to dump the massive amount of sand. On day 2, the crew of 3 arrived and immediately went to work. They are truly master craftsman. I was amazed watching them prep the area, lay the angled bricks, and cut the bricks in order to fit into the smaller angled spaces. The crew finished by 6pm. My driveway is so classy, and I'm thrilled to have chosen Artistic Pavers for the job. Everyone was friendly and professional.

    Masonry Structures Inc
From first contact to completion Craig Koshler of Masonry Structures was a consumate professional!
He returned my call promptly, he got me an estimate quickly and he completed the job almost immediately.
The work was done professionally, neat and clean--no issues whatsoever. The price was half of what another contractor I contacted quoted me--I couldn't be more pleased!
Happy to recommend this company and would NOT hesitate to call him again for help.

    Perkins Concrete Inc
Perkins concrete was the only company that could accurately describe the process I knew was required to recreate this column. For home resale purposes all of the four columns around our driveway had to look alike and match the stucco faux bricks of our house.
The column is approximately 2 1/2 feet square and about 4 1/2 feet high with a custom built lighting fixture on the top.
First the broken components and the damaged foundation were removed. A new foundation was laid and allowed to cure. The concrete blocks were laid to build the internal structure and allowed to cure. Then the first layer of gray colored stucco troweled on to the side and top of the concrete blocks and allowed to cure. Then second layer of brick colored stucco was troweled on, allowed to set for a short time and then the brick colored stucco was cut away to make the mortar lines for the faux bricks.
This was a long process from initial contact from December 8, 2014 to January 24, 2015.
Perkins is always very busy and the holidays were approaching but their representative showed up for the estimate one day later on December 9. I received a firm estimate on Dec 12. I gave the go-ahead to do the work on December 16.Perkins concrete advised me that they could not schedule the work before Christmas only nine days away and that they were closed for the holidays until Jan 5. They started the work on January 7 and completed it on January 24. There was time required between each of the steps to allow concrete or stucco to cure and there were rain days that interfered with some of the scheduled work.
I am as pleased as I can possibly be. Although Perkins Concrete warned me that it would be tough to mix the red stucco to exactly match the color of the faux bricks to the other existing columns, I can't notice a difference.
Perkins Concrete works effectively and efficiently to perform high quality work. The prices seem high but the quality could not be better for a difficult reconstruction that matches my other existing columns.

    Second Nature Landscaping
Everything went perfect.  When James arrived to go over our requests, he spent almost an hour going through the yard and discussing all the options with me.  I had some ideas about what I wanted to do, but it was really helpful to have him share some examples of things he's done on other jobs.  I really appreciated that he spent time to learn about how we use our backyard and made reasonable suggestions that fit our needs AND our budget.  The work began as scheduled, and went quickly - even when I made changes to the original plan.  The work was professionally done, and James made sure to keep us informed with frequent emailed updates.  On the last day, James met with me and walked me through all the changes, tested the new sprinklers, and just basically made sure I was happy with everything.  And when his crew left, they cleaned up the yard and left it looking amazing. The next time I need some work done on our yard, I'll definitely call Second Nature Landscaping again.

I phoned AAA becasue of their high rating. Theirs ads always state no job too big or small. I called them to have a front block wall repaired. The lady I spoke to was very nice and said since this was just masonary and stucco work that she gave me the direct number of the mason. I called him. We made an appointment with a day or so and he asked how I got his number.  He arrived as scheduled and said it was a small job and won't be much. He got measurements told me as soon as he got prices on the face stone he would call me. I waited 2 weeks and no call. I called him and left a message. After another week I called him again and again he never responded.
Inearly summer I thought I would give them another chance since I was dealing with a sub-contractot and not AAA Services. So I called AAA andagain spoke to the same lady (Carol?) . She remembered me and appolgised profusely and saifd the owner would be there the next morning. The next morning his forman arrived because of an injury sustained by the owner. I when over the wall to be repaired and stoned and I also showed him a wall in the garage I wanted demolished and also and upgrade in electric. Her stated several times that they remodel bathrooms and kitchens. felt he was hinting that the job was too small for them.  I told them that I wanted both my baths done eventually but first wanted the smaller stuff done.first. I also needed a roof over my bay window. He told me he would have the roofer contact me.
The next moring a man came un-announced to my door at 8 AM. Said he was contacted by AAA  to stucco the wall. All the way through looking at the wall he stated he couldn't that it need to be  rebuilt by a mason and that he only did stucco.
As of today I never have heard from them again. Never.
While I still need the smaller stuff done , I went with someone else for the bathroom remodels.

John did a great job of copying the style of the original mailbox using only that picture as a guide. It took him a while to find distressed bricks that matched those of our house, but he did it. I think his pricing was fair for the work performed. He told me before he bought the bricks that he had to buy half a pallet minimum which would leave quite a few bricks left over and cost an additional $150. I agreed to this, but in the end he did not charge the extra, nor leave the extra bricks. It was a small job that John had to fit into a schedule of larger jobs and he did a great job. I would definitely hire him again!
