Dr. Marcotte and his team are the best! I put off treatment for many years anticipating a (painful) EMG, but they did a sonogram of each wrist to see the carpal tunnel. Surgery is endoscopic and there was no pain - was back at work the next day. Before finding Orthopedic Specialties, I went to see another hand surgeon who does the "open" procedure and told me it's the same as endoscopic. But after...

the lab work only took about 15 mins. i rang the bell and was attended to right away. the phlebotomist tried to get blood from my left arm but was unsuccessful. then she tried another time on the right arm and was able to get it right away. she was also very friendly and was smiling the whole time. i would definitely recommend largo medical center. i did not meet anyone there who was not friendly....

They are expensive but very good. They give excellent service. The staffs and doctors are very professional and good. I had a series of tests and I got the test results quickly. Normally, you wait around for a day before you find out. They are very responsive. Their availability was fine because it was an emergency and I was there 6:30 in the morning.

Even though any visit to an ER is a long story, the LMC is average at best. I suppose if you have a choice and there's another hospital in the area, you'd be better to choose somewhere else. The physicians were ok, but several didn't communicate much about the tests being run or describing diagnoses, etc. If you asked them you could pry information out of them. That seemed true for those in the ER...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Transported to the ER with a case of vertigo.
