    Time Insulation
Called and scheduled an appointment after seeing all the good reviews on Angies List. Brandon and Deven showed up at the scheduled time. Installed the insulation and cleaned up. They were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Time Insulation.

    Time Insulation
The gentleman arrived on time and was also very friendly and professional. We've been in our home 15 years and figured our insulation rating was going to be extremely low however it was determined that our rating was pretty good and he didn't think we needed additional insulation. He recommended that we contact Duke Energy to ask about additional rebates for a duct seal test, windows and a new AC unit since they're pretty old. I really appreciate him being forthright and honest. It would've been so easy to take advantage of the situation considering the age of our home and the length of time it's been since the insulation was installed. I highly recommend Time Insulation due to their integrity, professionalism and great customer service. If we ever have insulation needs in the future we will definitely be calling Time Insulation to handle the job!

    Time Insulation
Hiring Time Insulation for my insulation needs was the single WORST experience I have ever had when it comes to home repairs/maintenance. This is going to be detailed review of the 7 - SEVEN!- times they had to come out to my house for repairs because of damages they caused while performing work. I called and received a quote for getting some insulation blown into my attic. Their price (out of the 11 places I called) was one of the better prices and I ended up selecting them above another company because of their A rating on Angie's List. I can only hope that my review can save someone else the time and misery that they put me through. I set up my appointment and they gave me a "time window" of when I could expect them. I ended up calling to find out if they were coming because they were 20 minutes late outside of their "appointment window." The technicians that came out the first time were not professional at all. They did not lay down any kind of plastic or protective sheeting. The attic entrance for our house is located in the walk in closet. I had removed all of the clothes hanging in there and I had personally laid down a drop cloth over the clothes that were left in the closet. The technicians performed their task (I did not hover while they were up there - I definitely learned my lesson this time), I paid them and they left. After they left, I walked upstairs and there was insulation all over the floor, it was a mess, and one of the closet shelves was broken (it looked like they had stepped on the shelf to get into or out of the attic and it had snapped the metal). I was not pleased with their work but I figured - I would just fix the shelf, clean up the mess and just not recommend them to anyone in the future. Well 2 days later I started to notice water damage on the ceilings on BOTH floors of my 2-story home. I couldn't figure out what in the world was causing this damage until I realized it was directly below the AC handler in my attic. I climbed into the attic to realize that the Insulation technician had broken the condensation line to my AC Unit in my attic. Water had been leaking down into my home for TWO DAYS! I called Time Insulation (upset) and the first person I spoke to was EXTREMELY rude and unsympathetic. By the time I was done talking to him I was in tears. I asked him to please have his manager call me back as soon as she was in the office. No one contacted me for 2 hours so I called back to find out the manager was in. Meanwhile, I'm sitting in my house with no AC and water leaking down the walls. She tells me she is working on getting an AC technician to come out to fix the broken line. Long story short he comes out to fix the line later that day. But I am still left with all of the water damage in my home. No one at time insulation ever seemed determined or motivated to get my problems resolved in a timely manner during my entire experience with them. I CONSTANTLY had to call them to check in with the progress of getting the repairs moving and to schedule and ask questions as to how these repairs would get done. The owner of the company came out to my house to "assess the damage" and while he was there he assured me that by the time their repair man came out to my house it would look like nothing had ever happened. The repairs would be "seamless." He tried to downplay the damages and had nothing to say/changed the subject when I mentioned how upset I was with the customer service I received. The next day another crew came out to my house to remove the soggy/wet insulation in my attic. This crew laid down protective plastic and seemed friendly enough. I monitored their work closely as they removed the wet insulation from the attic. While they were up there, they pulled a platform up that was secured up there in front of the AC unit so they could remove the insulation from under it. I understand this was necessary, but when the other technicians came out to replace the wet insulation, they had NO IDEA how to put the board back into the attic as it was before and told me he should have never pulled it up in the first place. I, myself, ended up having to remove the nails from the board so that they could just set the board back up there (not secured). The repair man they employed to do the repairs came to my house 2 days in a row to perform repairs on the ceiling and drywall (which was sagging). I was not pleased with the work he did. The work was sloppy and when he finished, it was very noticeable that patches were done. He was not able to match the texture on my ceiling and then told me that I would need to have the entire ceiling texture redone if I wanted it to look uniform. There were trowel marks and gouges left where he applied joint compound to the drywall patches (See picture). He also used a very wet sponge to clean the floors (which are wood laminate) and left a puddle of water there which seeped between the boards and caused the floor to swell and create further damage when vacuuming (see pictures). When I told him that I was not pleased with the quality of the work he basically said that it was the best he could do and didnt offer any additional help. The shelf that the repair man fixed fell off the wall 2 weeks later. He didnt replace the supports that were pulled out of the wall when it was broken, and it collapsed and I ended up repairing it MYSELF. He also took a chunk of my wall out for a paint sample and did a terrible job patching it (see picture). When the crew came back out to put the insulation back in my attic, they broke ANOTHER different shelf in my closet. They insured that they would have someone come out to fix it (and I spoke to the manager in the office) and no one ever contacted me to have the repairs done. At this point, I figured I would just do the repairs myself since they would probably just cause more damage to my home. All in all, this experience was a NIGHTMARE! Thankfully I work at home and could be here for their plethora of visits, but I cant image how many days I would have had to take off work to accommodate their time windows and endless visits. PLEASE DONT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They are truly awful.

    Time Insulation
I used Time because they were on the approved list from Duke energy when they did our house energy survey and had a good Angie's List rating and there was a $200 discount from Duke. We were completely satisfied with this company. They were easy to work with, flexible in their scheduling, and professional doing the work. Andrew and Andrew were on time, courteous, and thorough. They cleaned up afterwards so when they left you didn't know they had been there. Great price, great job.

    Daniel Insulation LLC
From start to finish, this company was amazing.  From the first phone call to schedule an estimate, to the final result, everything went so smooth.  Bob from Daniel Insulation came out the same day I called to give me an estimate.  He was on time and beat the price quoted to me to me by another company.  Our home had been vacant for five years and the attic had been infested with rats.  Bob assured me that they could take care of this mess and they scheduled us as an emergency call, within two days, as our roof was being replaced.  Miguel and Juan were on time and got to work immediately.  After several hours of working straight through, I thought they were almost done.  They then brought out the big guns, a very high powered vacuum.  The used this in the attic for over an hour.  Te work they did was amazing! They got rid of the horrible odor and the air quality is so much better! I can't say enough about this company! As soon as we have our AC unit replaced and the electric rewired, we will be using them, without question, to replace the insulation.  I can't thank them enough for a hassle free experience!

    Craig's Insulation Inc
It went as described - 10" of new fiberglass insulation blown into the entire overhead crawl space.  I have seen an immediate benefit since as my electric bill has dropped by approx. 10-12% after the insulation was added.

Bayside Heating & Air Conditioning Inc
Every staff member that I interacted with from my initial call to the installers were extremely professional. Joe, their ductwork engineer, was early for our initial assessment. He provided me with the insight on how bad our system was with disrupted connections, torn insulation, contaminated ductwork and poor design. He was able to give us his recommendations and quote immediately. He was not a salesman and did not try and sell us more then what was needed. Due to the large job he expected the job to take at least 2 days and was considerate enough to have a portable A/C unit delivered to accommodate our family which includes 2 small children.
Alan and Kyle the mechanical installers were very professional as well. They were early for the appointment and reviewed the design with me prior to starting. They made sure to lay down drop cloths over their work area and maintained a clean environment. They consulted me on the placement of every return and supply to make sure I was satisfied. Once finished they did a thorough clean up and ran the system to assure it was working properly.
Our air condition is working much better and is cooling every room equally. I'm sure this will be a huge savings onmy energy bill especially in the up coming summer months.
I was extremely happy with the professionalism of Bayside Heating and Air and would highly recommend them to anyone.

    Time Insulation
I was on the hunt to have a company come out and blow insulation into my attic.  I knew that since I had a hip roof with very little space and no access that it wouldn't be an easy task to complete.  I called Duke Energy and they provided me with a list of authorized providers.  I called up several of the companies and arranged for them to come out and provide me with an estimate for services.  After meeting with several of them I was starting to get discouraged.  They were all telling me that I would either have to completely remove my ceiling or roof and it would still cost me almost a $1,000 to have the insulation installed.  I almost gave up and canceled my appointment with Time Insulation, because I figured it was going to be some more of the same news.
I am glad that I decided to keep the appointment and see what they had to say.  The gentleman came out to the house and looked around.  He started to say "Well...." and I remember thinking that it was going to be the same response as the other companies.  But he continued to state that "Well I can do it without a problem, but we will need a couple access points in the ceiling cut."  He really shocked me with that statement.  We continued to talk and I found out that the machine could blew insulation ten feet, so I only ended up needing to cut three access holes.   They were able to blew in insulation to all parts of my house.  Now my Air Conditioner has gone from not being able to go below 80 degrees in the afternoon to now getting down to 74 degrees.  It has made the world of difference.   With the amount of money I am going to save on my electric bill I am estimating that the service will pay for itself in three months.
I would highly recommend this company to anybody.  They are friendly, fair, and punctual.

    31-W INSULATION INC

My schedule slipped and they were very flexible and accommodating. Once onsite, about noon they parked on the lawn, taped off the windows and doors, grabbed my ladder in addition to one of theirs and started spraying foam and scraping the excess with a makeshift tool. It took 2 days to do the one room due to having different types of spray foam (open and closed cell) and when complete there were high and low areas. Some areas were only half or less what I requested, others were overfilled and drywall could not be installed.

Areas where we asked to be specifically left without foam insulation were covered completely and cleanup was extremely poor. They did not cover up the items in the room lke the stack of drywall or move anything out of the way so everything got covered (not much in the room but it was on the wiring, studs, light fixtures (one was completely buried up with foam) and there was an area of dead grass on the lawn.

I have made repeated calls without success, voicemails have not been returned so I have been calling from a different phone each time so they will answer. Of course they are courteous and promise to call back and do the "right thing" but never a call back or any action on their part. I decided to drive over to their office and spoke with the manager that had visited my house to inspect and correct 3 weeks ago. He spoke to me and again promised to correct the errors and to bill me

    the proper amount.

It has been over 5 weeks now and I have remedied about half the problem of "humps" (by purchasing tools and making some of my own then passing a straight edge over the are to find and eliminate the high spots) that were preventing the drywall from laying flat. I called again today to get another promise of "we will be out there tomorrow to correct the problem" and "I have sent the information to corporate" when I asked  about a corrected bill.

I missed the deadline of getting the room done before the wedding and am now in jeopardy of not getting it done by Thanksgiving.

In fairness I gave this company a C grade because they did show up and do some work albeit poorly done I could have accepted it and paid the full amount. I did not get what was quoted to me or what I requested. I have spent many hours of my time trying to remedy the problems they have caused to my house and to my life and would recommend using a more reputable company in the future.

Will update if anything changes but the damage of what has happened cannot be undone regardless of them showing up or correcting the bill.

UPDATE: They did finally respond to me and after being

told they would come out tomorrow several times one week I just told him not to bother coming out since I had corrected half the issues already. They lowered the bill about 12% and I figured that was all I was ever going to get out of them. They win and I lose but you don't have to!!!!!

THEIR MAJOR ISSUE FOR ME WAS THEIR INEXPERIENCE WITH CLOSED CELL FOAM, INATTENTION TO CLEANUP AND LACK OF RESPONSE.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CLOSED CELL FOAM

    Time Insulation
Vaughn came out to look at attic as I have 3 skylights and a Boston gable hip roof that has limited access. He left his cell number and I did call him for discussion. He was polite and professional and after 3 other estimates we went with time insulation as they were the most thorough. The crew showed up on time and laid down plastic and even laid cardboard down under their truck for oil spills on my driveway. Did a very thorough job and concentrated on my problem rooms that typically get hot. Cleaned up completely and even adjusted the bill for duke energy rebate on the spot. Did a great job from the office staff, Vaughn the estimator and the crew who did the work. Great work reasonable price and great service.
