    ECM is a great company. I highly recommend them. They are always on time and even before my appointment times. I needed a new A/C system put in because my 14 year system needed to retire. They came and took away my old system and installed a new system for me in less than 6 hours. If you need a new A/C system, need to replace a broken one, or for any A/C service ECM is the way to go. ��������

    At the appointment call I was treated with kindness and professionalism and was given a timely appointment and was told I would receive a conformation text from the technician and an email from CA which I did, I also got a text from the tech when he was on the way of which he arrived in the appointment window. The tech, Sean, was polite, considerate, knowledgeable and well prepared. I was not charged a service call because in my particular circumstance. Sean, after taking the time to analyze the fault, informed me that I needed to contact the company who installed the unit to fix the problem. Cooling Advisors is the company I wish I would have used in the first place, they're an A+ outfit in my experience.

    I take no joy in leaving a bad review of AMC Cool Air Contractor INC but I also feel it���s my responsibility to let other potential customers know my experience with them. The short story is they are a company who will tell you anything to get the job, take your money, slap a low craftsmanship job in, and then leave you endlessly calling them and listening to excuses why they can���t make it back to finish the details of the job. The person who apparently sells the job and runs the show will tell you anything after the main install to get you off the phone and then nothing, not showing up as scheduled, no canceling the appointment, no call back. No one knows what���s left to be done at their office as no one is taking notes apparently and you will never talk to them again unless you keep calling. I know there are better reviews of them and maybe they do respond to calls for repairs quickly when there���s new money in the offing. For example when I first called them the salesman/supervisor said he���d be there in thirty minutes and he was, I was impressed, but that all went downhill after the main work was done. Also, the units they ended up installing were a different make than what was originally promised. They are all a generic brand I���ve never heard of except the living room and that���s only because I stopped them from installing it because it was the wrong, smaller size, they then brought out a name brand one but still not the model brand I was promised. My AC was out otherwise I would have stopped them entirely. They also have not finished capping off the sheet metal that covers some of the lines which at this time is over a month from the install. I had to get them back to straighten a vertically crooked exterior 3���x 3��� sheet metal U-channel which runs from the ground to the roof in the front of the house, this took repeated calls. I also had to stop them from ���nailing��� a long run of electrical wire into the top of my flat roof! I've asked for a receipt for the work done but they have refused to give me one, why? I really wanted to like this company and thought long and hard about leaving this review.

    We recently moved to the Lantana area. The home we purchased has a 6-7yr old system that needed some maintenance. Jonathan ( the owner) came out and was on time for the appointment we made. He made us aware of a couple items that weren't installed on this system which were important. The main one being a connection to be able to flush the air handler drain as we all know here in Florida that drain can clog and create a mess! Also the air handler support box had no insulation, an our unit sits in the garage. We had him properly insulate the support box & he also performed some other maintenance like cleaning the air handler coil. Jonathan was very honest, trustworthy and affordable! 10/10 I would recommend and use his service again in the future.

He was on time and did an inspection of the entire system and gave me a written report to review within an hour of the inspection. It was very helpful for the negotiation of the home. He was very professional and thorough.

    Archibald and Jonothan were the technicians. They called to let us know they were on their way (and within the time slot given), arriving shortly afterward. Both were very professional, knowledgeable, diagnosed the problem and answered every question we had not only about the unit but other a/c questions we had as well. They also cleaned out the pipe then re-checked the unit to make sure the freon pressure was holding (it was). Their price for doing the work was very reasonable. Our unit is very old so we know we will be needing to buy a new unit soon and due to our experience with these 2 technicians representing their company, we will definitely be buying the unit from them. Best customer service I've seen in a long time and I'd happily recommend them to anyone having a/c problems!

    THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. OUR INITIAL CONTACT WITH ANTHONY WENT WELL OR SO WE THOUGHT. HE CAME TO THE HOME ON TIME AND WAS EASY TO DEAL WITH AND VERY PERSONABLE. HE GAVE US THE QUOTE AND WE IMMEDIATELY MOVED FORWARD AND WAS APPROVED TO FINANCE THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF ABOUT $7700. HE TOLD US HE NEEDED TO BRING HIS ENGINEER OUT TO CHECK THE LOCATION OF WHERE WE WERE GOING TO PUT THE AIR HANDLER. WE SPECIFICALLY ASKED HIM IF THE QUOTE INCLUDED REPLACING THE DUCTWORK AND HE SAID THE "DUCTWORK SHOULD BE FINE". HE CHOSE TO NOT INSPECT THE DUCTWORK. ONCE HE CAME BACK WITH HIS ENGINEER MY HUSBAND ASKED HIM WHEN THEY WERE AT OUR HOME WHAT THE FINAL OUTCOME WAS. HE WAS EVASIVE AND DIDN'T GIVE AN ANSWER. THE NEXT DAY, HE SENT A REVISED QUOTE INCREASING THE COST BY $2300 TO REPLACE DUCTWORK AND LABOR. THIS IS THE ULTIMATE BAIT AND SWITCH BECAUSE THEY CLEARLY DID NOT WANT TO DO THE JOB. AFTER WE TOLD THEM WE WOULD BE FINDING ANOTHER COMPANY, WE STARTED GETTING CALLS FROM SOMEONE NAMED STEVE WANTING TO "WIN" BACK OUR BUSINESS. HE CALLED ME AND MY HUSBAND EVERY DAY FOR A FULL WEEK. WE FINALLY DECIDED TO MOVE FORWARD LAST FRIDAY MAINLY BECAUSE WE HAD ALREADY SECURED FINANCING AND DIDN'T WANT TO RUN ANOTHER INQUIRY ON MY HUSBAND'S CREDIT. STEVE OFFERED TO ONLY CHARGE AND ADDITIONAL $1000 INSTEAD OF THE $2300, WE AGREED UPON $900 AND HE CONFIRMED AND SAID HE WOULD CALL US TO SCHEDULE FOR FRIDAY 3/10 & SATURDAY 3/11 AND IT WOULD BE A 2 DAY JOB. THIS CONVERSATION TOOK PLACE ON FRIDAY 3/3. AS OF THURSDAY 3/9, I MADE 5 PHONE CALLS TO STEVE TO CONFIRM THAT WE WERE SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY. HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS AND WE DIDN'T SPEAK UNTIL AFTER 5 PM ON THURSDAY 3/9. HE STATED THAT THE OWNER WOULD NOT HONOR THE DEAL AND FLAT OUT SAID THEY DID NOT WANT TO DO THE JOB. IT TOOK HIM A WEEK TO GIVE US THIS INFORMATION. ONCE AGAIN, THEY WENT BACK ON THEIR WORD AFTER AN AGREED UPON COST. WE LOST TIME FROM WORK ON 2 SEPARATE OCCASSIONS WITH THE INSPECTIONS AND WELL AS TODAY BECAUSE WE THOUGHT WE WERE CONFIRMED FOR THEM TO DO THE WORK TODAY AND WASN'T TOLD UNTIL LAST NIGHT THAT THEY DIDN'T WANT THE JOB. ANTHONY IS INCOMPETENT. STEVE IS A COWARD AND THE OWNER IS ALSO SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THE PROMISES OF HIS COMPANY. I WOULD NOT ALLOW THEM IN MY HOME IF THEY DONATED ALL THE EQUIPMENT AND TIME. PS WE HAVE A REPUTABLE COMPANY COMING TO DO THE WORK AND THE COST IS COMPETITIVE TO THE INITIAL QUOTE THIS PIECE OF **** COMPANY GAVE US. BTW, THEY WERE REFERRED TO US FROM BJ'S WHOLESALE CLUB. BUYER BEWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!!
