    Villa's Construction & Remodeling Inc
I am more than satisfied. The demolition and construction of the bathrooms went extremely well. John Villa's construction and remodeling team was truly professional in their approach to the project and they were attentive to all of the details that potentially could have irritated the neighbors. The team kept the noise down to a minimum and they also did a fine job cleaning up after each workday. No complaints were heard from the entire building. Unforeseen problems occurred which were not the fault of the construction team but due to the 50 year old age of the building. The team handled the unexpected surprises with efficient expertise and kept me apprised of how they would handle the extra work. It should be noted, John did not charge me any extra costs due to the surprises and fixed the problems free of charge. All in all, John's team completed the entirety of the work in an admirable way and I have no complaints. For this reason, I will hire John Villa and Villa's Construction and Remodeling, Inc., again for any and all future construction projects in my home. I recommend this company to anyone who wants a genuine professional to remodel, upgrade and update their condominiums or single family homes.

    Newman Windows & Doors
They did a great job and got it done in one week as promised. All the neighbors have been raving about my new windows. Two of my neighbors are getting Newman to do their impact windows. Couldn't be more pleased!

    Statewide Windows & Doors
Work was completed in one day, also about 3 weeks earlier than the projected start date. Crew did a ok job at keeping dirt from my things, some damage to stucco, but was fixed by them. I did have to paint, but I knew in advance they did not paint. My only issue was the sales person, a little pushy, but a good salesman.

    J&G Carpentry Inc
I fired them for all the stress aggravation and unfinished work
They took 500 dollars of my money for what they didn't do
Left all old building materials outside
Too lazy to bring them to the curb for trash pickup
Horrible don't use them unless you want major stress and aggravation
They are on the wile a very rude bunch

    East Coast Contractors Inc
Well it started off really well, so i thought.  We were remodeling a kitchen for my Uncle's Home.  We had signed the contract in July of 2014.  I know it can take a while for permitting, but the job did not start until October. My uncle had passed and I asked for a quote to remodel the remainder home.  When I chose not to go further with the remodel cause of all things wrong with the Kitchen, is when things turned for the worse.   I can go on and on with problems and attitude I received from Ed.  If you get his son to do your job,  from my understanding is more efficient and on time with his subcontractors.  Ed not the case!  He is overextended himself.  If you do a contract with East Coast Please learn to get everything in writing. Check Check and Double Check  everything Is In The Contract,  Start Date and Complete Date on Contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  There were weeks at a time he wouldn't send one man to the house.  Usually it is a one man team.  A project that he verbally stated would take 6-8 weeks turned into triple the amount of time.  He does Not follow up himself and will argue with you if confronted.  He lies about work that is completed.  His plumber sucks and I had to have another plumber come in and fix the work that I had already paid for.(I gave his plumber 3 chances to correct and still wrong)  In turn I had to settle out the final amount just to close out the kitchen.  He  sent other workers that I had never been introduced on my project,  to try to repair another guys work.  His other worker stated "I have to do this all the time, go and fix the other guys mistakes.  I have been with him many years and I always have to do this, I guess thats job security!"  If that is who you want working for you on your house beware.  I will never refer this contractor!  Further more I thought this Angies List would help and weed out the bad contractors that is so prevalent in South Florida, boy was I mistaken.
When hiring a contractor you should feel comfortable knowing the job is correct and as the home owner you shouldn't have to micromanage the entire project.  I waisted so much time and money doing this with East Coast.
To finish, when I had asked Ed to check the plumbing in the house because of the age in case I need to have house re-plumbed he stated he and his men got under the house and everything was great. He stated "This cast Iron has been here for many years and still has many years to Go" Everything is okay he assured me.  Well it wasn't okay, when I had my plumber out to repair his work in kitchen, I had him check the remainder plumbing. He showed me where 3 cast iron pipes had been rusted thru and laying on ground.  All sewer and water was running under house. Ed told me he checked and everything was fine! So much for assuring me  that everything was okay!!!

    E Liss Services LLC
I am a single woman living alone, and I'm not very handy with tools, so I purchased Eyal's Big Deal to have him move and re-install some wire shelving in my bedroom closet.  HE WAS FANTASTIC!  He accommodated my schedule and arrived punctually on a Sunday morning with all  his own tools.   As soon as I described what I wanted him to do with the closet, he knew exactly what to do, and he even came up with a suggestion on how to increase the hanging space in the closet, which worked beautifully.  He worked quickly and he cleaned up after himself.  He patched the holes, and he even would have vacuumed, except that there was so much time left over from my 3-hour Big Deal that I had him do other small projects.  His motto is,"there's always a solution." He was productive every minute of the three hour time frame, and he made sure that the finished product was perfect.  He said, "if I wouldn't like it in my house, I'm not going to do it that way for you."  We discussed other projects, and he had brilliant ideas on how to build a vanity area in my bedroom on a budget and how to switch the closet door so that it would open out into the room without damaging the door frame (I live in a rental, so that is very important to me).  Besides his work ethic, he was very personable and a pleasure to deal with.  I will definitely be hiring him again soon.

    Complete Sliding Doors & Windows
They come over to our house twice to measure the glass. Second time I was told they weren't sure if they could supply the 1/8" thick tempered glass I needed. Later I was called back and they told me they had a hard time getting the glass. A week later this was confirmed they couldn't get the glass and I was refunded my $50 down payment.
I called All American Glass in Pompano and they ordered the glass straight away. They had it in stock the next day. When I told the owner Complete Sliding Doors couldn't get the glass, he laughed out loud and said; "Yes, it's very hard to get!". Although the people form Complete Sliding doors were courteous and on time with everything, I think it's very strange they couldn't get the glass I needed.
Also, the measurements they took twice were on the low side.

The entire process ran great!  Jerry was very professional and prompt.  His price was fair and work was done competently.  We have received many complements on how great they look on our historic home.
