Ceiling Fan Installation reviews in Lakewood Ranch

Hired Smith Construction to remodel a 1400sf flip. Every inch of this home was touched including the single car garage and some exterior issues. Smith Construction employees were very professional and knowledgeable. Everyone on the crew was respectful that this was a business investment, thus they did their best work. Dan is one of the best tile installer I have worked with. George had a broad knowledge thus was able to handle many projects. Lisa Smith was easy to work with and an excellent communicator. Mark ran the crews, making sure equipment and supplies were on the job in a timely manner. I have been in the home remodeling and construction industry for over 37 years [previously in another state] I feel very lucky that first project out of the gate I found Lisa and Mark Smith. We will definitely use Smith construction in the future.

It went very well. I was off work just two days and they were able to fit me in. They gave me an estimated time and then called to let me know when Scott was on his way. Scott was punctual, and efficiently used time, doing the work I needed most first, then informing me what it would take and cost to look at the other things, giving me cost info and options. The bill was clearly laid out and the amount was very reasonable. I hired them in 2012 based on my son's research in Angie's list, was pleased again with their service this time, and would hire them again.

With the $39 special and an additional $84, we got two service calls, the doorbell fixed, and a new fan motor installed in the bathroom.  Sometimes with specials, it seems like they just up their price, but we did not feel that way at all with this company.  We will definitely call Bolt Electric again.

We had received a quote from a competitor several months ago. They said that it would be over $1000 and would require significant rework, if not also the need to buy new fans! So glad we called Bolt. The electrician they sent was Clayton and he is truly amazing. The repairs were no where near as significant as what the other company tried to tell us. Within 30 minutes he was able to figure out what was wrong with each fan and then have them fully fixed within an hour after that. He is totally trustworthy, very reliable and a fantastic representation of Bolt. We will be using them again and requesting Clayton when we do.
We did buy the coupon on Angies list which helped the cost, but they are still really affordable otherwise, simply because they are more thorough in their analysis of the problem, allowing for more efficient work.

Arrivied a few minutes early. Prepared and protected the work area. The owner(Kevon) arrived to check on the work and introduce himself.

The work was completed. The work area picked-up including the boxes and prepared for trash pick-up. Brian  asked me to inspect the work before gathering  his tools. The cost of the work was as estimated and payment was made on the spot via credit card on a secure chip. A fews moments later I received an email with a receipt attachment. Polite, professional and quality workmanship.
    Couldn't be more satisfied.

ned The electrician was polite and on time. He didn't give me an estimate first because he said he had to remove the fan. He didn't give me a cost until the very end of his call.
I paid $59 for a service call with $100 credit towards the work. The electrician removed the housing and then the fan. He fiddled around with it for a bit and then told me the best he could do was tighten the mounting bracket, even though the wobbling had just begun and the fan is 6 years old.
I had to help him remount the fan. He was then going to check the electrical panel. I explained I could save him some work as I had that done just 3 months before.
Then he gave me the bill for the non-repair.
    $100 credit
    $ 59 that I paid
then charged me an additional $29 for simply tightening a bolt and remounting the fan. He remounted the fan only because I asked him to do so. Otherwise, he would have left it on the floor.
The electrician really pushed me to fill out an Angie's list review form and give it to him before he left.
When he left, I called Kylie in customer service and explained why I wasn't please. She assured me that the owner would call me and discuss. That was the 24th. Today is 9/30 and I have not heard one word.
I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Their charge of $188 to do show up and repair nothing seems a bit outrageous to me. Their pushing me to fill out a review form while the electrician was there seemed a bit like bullying.

They scheduled very quickly to come out. They installed a new ceiling fan as a replacement. The work was good, but he forgot to install a piece of trim that is located around the top of fan that is against the ceiling. Also, he did not clean up after himself, he left the trash of the boxes the fan came in.

Mike, the salesman in the store has a great sense of humor and is very witty. He made our purchase very entertaining. He was really knowledgable. We made a mistake and ordered an extra fan which we had to cancel and which he issued a credit right away. Mike was really helpful in the selection of the type of fan and the size of the blades based on our room size and ceiling height. The price of the fans was over $250 each so installation was included. The installer arrived on time and was very professional and did a perfect installation. Our electrician, Spire Electric (who we highly recommend) suggested we get the fans from Fan City because the quality of the fans sold by Fan City is much higher than what we would have purchased from Lowes or Home Depot. We spent more on the fans but are convinced we got higher quality fans.

John Clark is a pleasure to work with. He is tenacious in completing projects. He is meticulous in making sure we (the customers) are happy with his results. He is clearly in demand, so one needs to schedule time with him and be flexible about appointment changes. But once he's at your doorstep, he is a working dynamo.

Serviceman checked the ceiling fan  and wall switch to ascertain why it wasn't working. After a thorough check, while we watched, it was determined the motor in the fan was burned out. and we needed to get a new fan. He, then replaced the cfi outlet that was not working and checked the other outlets.
We bought a new fan and re-scheduled. Serviceman returned and installed the new fan,
We were pleased with his knowledge and skill. Will use Mr. Sparky again.
