    LeafFilter Gutter Protection
    Not well...since the leaf guards were to be installed on gutters in a pool cage, I had to coordinate the installation with the individual who would remove the screens before the leaf guard installers got there, and the replace the screens as the leaf guard installers finished a section. I had arranged (by contract) that the leaf installers arrive between 9 and 11 (basically because I-4 from Tampa to Lakeland is a crap shoot as far as times). The screen installer arrived around 8:30 to begin removing the screens in anticipation the leaf guard installers arrival. Well, that is where it began to go bad. By 10:00 the screens had been removed, waiting for the leaf guard installers. Fortunately, I had several other screen repairs to keep the screen installer busy for another hour. Well, 11:00 came and went. At 11:45, I finally called LeafFilter to find out where the installers were, and they told me "on the way should be there shortly". at 12:30 the leaf guard installers arrived...and I am basically paying a screen installer to sit on my deck and watch the leaf guard installers. At this point, I am livid. Now I am not questioning the quality of the leaf installers work, that remains to be seen. What I had heartburn with was that one of the members of their installer team could not have been over 15 years of age. My mind was screaming to me about my potential liability for having a minor on a job site. Worse yet, how could LeafFilter allow this? Yes, they are contractors, with no connection to LeafFilter. Notwithstanding that, if this young man would have been injured on this job, I cannot think of all the possible ramifications...all of them bad for everyone! I contacted my LeafFilter sales agent to re-negotiate the contract price as all of their work was contingent upon being coordinated with the screen installer. It should be Leaf Filter���s responsibility to cover the time the screen installer was here, doing nothing! Long story short, a manager from LeafFilter did call me back, they knocked off $150 from the contract price (is that worth 5 hours of the screen installers time?), told me I could not pay by credit card because it cost money to run a card, and that they would follow up with the contractor regarding the minor on the job. I am at a loss for words...LeafFilter was totally unprofessional on every level. Like I said, I have no issues with the leaf guard install as of yet, the guys seemed knowledgeable about what they were doing, it was just the minor. I later discovered talking with the screen installer that the LeafFilter crew was given no time to show up at my residence (contrary to the contract), and it seems they were uninformed by LeafFilter management in this regard. So, is it a failure in communication, or did LeafFilter just fail to meet the low bar they set for themselves? I cannot in good conscience recommend LeafFilter. I selected them as they seemed to have a good product, and that is as far as my recommendation can go. My suggestion if you use Leaf Filter to install leaf guards on gutters for a pool deck on which the screens must be removed to do the installation, write into the contract a contingency fee covering the possibility of a late arrival. I know my screen installer will never do something like this again, as he lost a job he was supposed to do in the afternoon. Nor will I.

    They went to the property to do an estimate. Called me and said it needed a new roof as well. I asked them to send me the gutter estimate and I would look at the roof when I could get to the property in two weeks. They never sent me an estimate. Did not return my calls or texts. In summary, they couldn't upsell me into a new roof and didn't have the decency to let me know they weren't interested in doing the job. Not very professional, and in my mind calls into question their integrity as a contractor.

    Initial cost was good. After that not so good. I had called them after storm requiring help. Cost was minimum of 400 regardless of how much work was really needed. Even if it is just 99 service which is what is available now on Angies List. They eventually discounted when I mentions AL. Then they came on a day different from day they said they would. Since I had not left a check they quickly called demanding credit card payment which increased price. It's in the agreement which they don't tell you about. Then after the repair there are still leaks. The extension is not the same as the rest of the gutter. The area detached held on by tape. And when I asked if they would come back they said would put me on list and it would v your take 3 weeks. Not worth getting burned again. My advice go with another company. Anyone who only charges a fixed minimum and won't work with you on coming back or take responsibility for not coming right time is not worth it. I had chosen them for reviews. Not sure why so different.

    The gutters by the visible street were sagging so that you could see the inside when you drove past. He did the walk around with my husband but there was no gutter outside the pool cage, so they didn't go past that area. Turns out he left all of the old gutter hidden back there despite having written on the bill that it was cleaned away. We had to call multiple times to get it removed and kept getting excuse after excuse. He took our money but didn't complete the job as written. Very shady. I would not recommend anyone to this company.

Our home looks amazing, installers were absolutely fantastic.

    We were given an estimate and we approved. The owner said the crew would be here at a certain time, because we had an appointment. They were here as promised. The work was done and they took away the old gutter and downspouts. We happened to be home when they were finished to inspect the work and pay them, but, they were going to leave a bill. The bill did not go over the estimated amount. They work is very nice. I would give them a 5 star rating.
    My neighbor says the rain pours out much better than the old ones, since I don't stand out in the rain to watch the water come out.  I would call them again if I needed gutters again.

    It took three (3) attemps to get the job done.  The first repair attempt was on March 6, 2015 when they arrived on time and as scheduled, but did not carry any "round" spline of any size on their truck, so they said they would have to reschedule and they would call me back to do so later. (The round rubber spline is all that holds the screen in the frame channel.)  About a week passed, but no one called me, so I called them back and the office apologized for not calling me and  set up a new appointment.
    Two workers arrived on time on Mar 20 and completed the new panel repairs in about 45 minutes.  Also, one worked reseated a plus 1 foot section of existing, loose spline on the top edge of the pool cage for me as a seperate item of work.   I did not closely inspect their work (my  mistake) and paid them a total of $ 215.50.  On March 21 while I was cleaning the pool area, I discovered one of the panels they replaced had a 4 to 5 inch long cut in to the new screen fabric that was next to the frame. The installer must have accidentally made this "jump" cut while trimming the excess screen away from the cage frame.  If left that way, this cut could grow in lenght due to wind loading over time and require replacing this panel much sooned than normal.
    I called Robinson on Mar 23 and spoke to Nick who stated that was not right, and his installer should have replaced it then.  He would send a crew to replace the damaged panel they installed. The crew arrived on schedule at 8 AM  on April 2 to replace the defective screen panel.  However, they did not bring any new round spline with them so they used the existing spline from the prior install.  I do not know if that is OK procedure or not.
    The job was not done 100 % correctly the first time, but Robinson Aluminum did attempt make it right when I notified them and I appreciate their quick response. They always came on time and as scheduled.  However, it took almost a month and three seperate trips to get this small job done.
