My wife and I are very particular when it comes to home design and upgrades. I used this company recently and was very impressed with their customer service, swift installation and most importantly the outcome. Thanks for all the great work!

    Nina Williams Interiors
The design included new flooring, window treatments and a complete redesign over living room, dining room, family room and master bedroom. She recommended the contractors for the various parts of the remodel and each of them were professional, courteous and highly skilled at their craft before hiring Nina, we were very hesitant to hire a designer, but seeing the finished result, we are extra ordinarily happy that we did. Nina brought her home to life in a way that my wife and I never could.

Angie is always friendly and courteous. She will follow through the entire job professionally as well as after the installation. It is a family owned business, so you get the best of care. Her husband and son personally take care of the installations. As a designer, I have worked with Phil and Angie for over 15 years. They have great customer care!! My clients all agree!

    J Simms Inc
J Simms Inc has been my "GO TO" contractor since November 2013.  I first contracted J Simms Inc to remodel and tile the shower of my master bath.  This project required the demolition and reconfiguration of the original shower stall.  At my request, John Simms Inc eliminated my dated glass doors, redesigned, enclosed and extended the shower wall entry, and constructed built in shower shelving.  I was thrilled with the final result.

Upon the purchase of another home in 2014, I immediately contacted John Simms Inc for a construction/remodel consult.  Conscious of my limited budget,John Simms Inc devised creative solutions to meet my storage and remodeling needs.  Our collaboration has since resulted in the completion of  various improvements as listed above.

The design and construction of unobtrusive, multi-purpose, exterior storage units show cases John Simms  Inc. creativity and ability to beautifully conform to the confines of a project.  John Simms Inc respected my budget, understood my needs, and worked within HOA guidelines to create a functional yet inviting storage solution.

Regardless of the project, John Simms Inc delivers.  Creativity, attention to detail, quality, reliability, and value are rare but are to be expected from any projected completed by John Simms Inc.

    STRICTLY SHADES
We got a call from Steve's wife 9 days later to arrange for a mutually convenient time to do the installation. Steve came on time, worked methodically and meticulously while installing. The installation took about 90 min. We were extremely pleased with the outcome. He tested each vertical before leaving to make sure it was working properly. Upon signing the initial contract he gave a 10% discount and required 50%. I can respect that because he is one man operation and probably needed the money to place the order. I was able to pay by check, too. Steve came highly recommended by neighbors. It was an excellent recommendation. Get other estimates before signing, but I am sure you will go with Steve & Strictly Shades.

Well, I had 3 companies give estimates from Angies list.  Rick came out and measured all windows and did a great job of explaining things.  Said he had been working in this expertise for many years, and thought this product, from China to be the best he had worked with.  It had a metal reinforcent in the poly, which I thought was a selling point, as 4 of my windows were very large sliding glass doors. With the size and heat/humidity, was a selling point.  Prices were all pretty competitive, but this is why I went with them.

He said it would take at least 8 weeks, which was fine, as I wasn't in a great hurry.  It did take about 9 weeks, but they installed asap.   Install took less than 4 hours.   Hosea and I forget did a fabulous job.

I worried they wouldn't fit, as hard to believe with such important detail with the slats having to line up perfectly.

Well, they fit perfectly, other than one of the sliding glass door walls wasn't quite square , so there is a small space with light getting through.  Not the fault of the blinds.

The made a world of difference.  Love them.

Thanks so much to all of you.

Sending my best to RIck as he is still healing from a terrible car accident.

    HOME DEPOT
We recently had 12 blinds installed and from the beginning to end everything ran smooth.  The worker at Home Depot ?Geovani? in the flooring, carpeting and blinds department knows his work.  The installers that Home Depot used to install our blinds (ABSOLUTE INTERIORS) came and measured and once our blinds arrived they came out and installed.  They did a great job.  The only issue I had with Home Depot (that had nothing to do with the product or the installation) was at the end when we asked for a RELEASE OF LIEN.  None of the workers knew what that was?we had to get several supervisors/mangers and Home Depots ?Customer Care? involved to get this release from them? and it took more than a week for something we should have received the same day work was completed.  We would use them again going forward, and,  now everyone there knows about RELEASE OF LIENS.

    Superior Shade

When we met with David (owner), he directed us to the website for Horizon shades. We expected them to look similar to the shades shown on the website. Once installed, we were extremely disappointed in the appearance of the Averte shades for two reasons. Since the valance was not lined, the light shown through giving it a very cheap look. We also did not know that the fullness of the shade is only a 5% which barely covers the window appearing almost flat.  The look we were trying to achieve was more like a curtain, not a flat sheet. When I called David to tell him we were not happy, it took awhile for him to respond, but he did come through.  Because he did not give us the option nor suggest a lining for the valance, he replaced them at no additional charge. He also swapped out the 5% Averte shades for the upcharge of a 20% fullness. We did not mind spending the additional 20% charge to achieve the look we were seeking. Now that all work has been completed, I am happy with our shades.

If you are looking at Averte shades, I strongly suggest upgrading to the 20% fullness and considering a lined valance to give it a professional look.

    Well Dressed Windows
We had about 10 ground floor windows that still had the original vinyl horizontal blinds (most of which were broken in one form or another) from when the house was built 12 years ago. It was time to upgrade. We already kind of knew we wanted plantation shutters, and Jeff visited the house and agreed and showed us a variety of types, gave us lots of information, including even the smallest details about the project, and helped us make a good choice. He told us it would take about 8 weeks to get the shutters (it turned out to be about a week less than that). The very next day after they arrived, the company's installers arrived at our house and immediately and professionally installed everything. I thought it was a relatively large job, but it seemed easy for them and they finished it in just a few hours, and every detail looks perfect. The day of the installation, they even called to ask if it was OK to show up an hour earlier than the scheduled appointment. (When does that ever happen?) These guys know what they're doing. The house looks transformed, and the cost was very reasonable. Much appreciated.
