Fence Company reviews in Lake Worth

    A Fence Builders Inc
The owner John came out to the house and gave me a price. He was on time He sent me the proposal by email for convenience. In a week and a half, his work crew came built the fence in one day (in 3 hours), They used 5/8 inch boards and installed a nice strong gate. They cut no corners and did a professional job. I am enthusiastic about their company and workmanship. Give them a call!

The service was amazing! The owner got back to me right away via email and text ( my preferred contact method). The guys came and installed the fence in a couple hours. They left the backyard cleaner than when they arrived. I wish they could do all of my projects! I will definitely recommend them.

Masterguard Aluminum Rail & Fence Co
I talked to Chris on 9/11/18 to get a quote for a fence. He requested pictures to see what he needed to quote for. He never got back to me. I followed up with him on 9/26/18 asking if he was still interested in providing a quote and he did not respond. He finally called me on 10/16/18 and could not remember if he talked with me or not. I told him that I hadn't heard form him and that I used another company. He was only concerned with the referral fee that Angie's List was charging him. He mentioned that in every single conversation that I had with him. I would NOT recommend.

Our community needed a small gap of chain link fence installed to help protect the property. This company was able to fit us in during their bigger jobs. You will not have a problem, but remember there is still a lot of fence projects being constructed from last year's hurricane, so be patient..

    Fritz Massie Fence Inc
Fritz Massie is a FRAUD and a THIEF!! It was challenging to give FMF even 1 star because of the disappointment I've experienced with this company. The single star is because the women in the front office were lovely and did all that was within their capabilities. The biggest reason I went with FMF in the first place was because of their tenure within the community however, they did NOT inform me that they would be using a less than half assed subcontracting company to do the work and that was just the first of so many let downs. After a month of asking when the work would be started (I was expecting August 1) the crew finally showed up on a Friday (Aug 22) and removed my original fence. They were about to leave for the day with my whole back yard (that has a pool and is on a carriage alley) fully exposed without any kind of deterrent or barrier. If my neighbors hadn't noticed and stepped in to at least get some orange netting up, my yard would've been left fully exposed and wide open for all kinds of liability. So the following Wednesday the new fence starts being installed and every day the area was left a complete mess and the crew needed to be micromanaged about barricading the back entrance to the yard prior to their departure. There was a conflict with this crew along every step of the way and even though I tried desperately to partner with Perry Massie (yes one of the owners) I was either ignored by him or was told that it would be handled which it never was so I was left to be the daily nagging bi*ch. They did way less than par work. Nails are exposed everywhere, flat boards along the top of the fence are uneven and not level. The bottom boards were supposed to go to grade and when I pointed out that they didn't and needed to (not only because permit stated such but because I have dogs) they took cut up pieces of boards and randomly nailed them to the base of the fence and yet still didn't do the entire perimeter. ***?!? It looks terrible!! They then proceeded to stain the fence a day after installation (and ran) and naturally, all of the boards warped and separated. Additionally, upon haphazardly spray staining my fence, the crew proceeded to get stain all over the houses, landscaping and outdoor furniture of BOTH NEIGHBORS on either side and took no responsibility for it. My fence is 3 different colors and there are drips and bleeding of stain EVERYWHERE. Again it looks terrible!! Additionally, the crew put the back gate leading to the carriage alley, and its locking mechanisms on BACKWARDS so the gate swings into the alley (not allowed) and the lock placed on the public side of the fence requiring me to get out a ladder so I could lean over to unlock every time I needed to open it. Needless to say, it had to fail inspection twice and a ton of phone calls and emails to Fritz Massie in order for it to be corrected. It still has yet to pass a final inspection. Lastly and most troubling to me is that despite the fact that all of the contracted work had yet to be completed, Perry Massie proceeded to have his assistant charge my credit card on file for the remaining balance without my authorization. Had I not gotten an alert from American Express, I would not have known. I immediately reached out to FMF and was told "my guys need to get paid and we need to close out the month." I can not deter you enough from hiring this company. For what I paid, I got maybe a quarter of what I expected. Poor craftsmanship, poor communication, poor followthrough and an extreme overcharge for labor that was not warranted. Oh, and the site supervisor who showed up all of 2 times was a total masochistic ****** and Perry Massie a complete avoider of confrontation and accountability. Do yourself a favor, invest your money, time and efforts elsewhere.

    Gold Fence LLC
The job from start to finish was a fantastic experience. Very quick service, Daniel had the job completed before expected. I am so pleased with the work, it looks great, very sturdy and a true professional job. I couldn't be happier and wish other businesses I deal with would be as professional. Gold Fence is an A+ company and will recommend them to anyone needing fencing.

    Fencing South Florida
Honestly, working with Fencing South Florida was a debacle and extremely stressful from start to finish.  I moved down here and have two big dogs, so was trying to get a fence put up quickly.  Ha!  Even tho they are based in Lake Worth, they were apparently not familiar with the city's fence rules and were not able to get the view triangle or set back guidelines straight.  So they submitted a permit package to the city that was bounced because it was simply wrong.  I had to research the rules and redraw the survey drawing myself, and then to get them to understand it and submit it.   They were terrible on communication, and told me only after I finally got the permit (after 6 weeks, most of which delay was NOT the city's fault) that they had to order some of the parts for my fence.  So the install was delayed another week.  When I question why this could not have been done ahead of time, the owner Dan called me and was nothing short of verbally abusive, basically acting as if I should consider myself lucky that he granted me an install date at all.   Then, on the day of the install, the installer (who I actually thought was the most competent person associated with the company until I found out later he cut my irrigation lines) came provided with a drawing that had an incorrect set back marked and did not match the permit.  If I had not noticed this, I would have lost 3 feet of my yard.   Also on the day of the install, the salesman showed up (for the first time in a long time) to tell me he had measured wrong and that I had to sign a new contract that was $450 more expensive.   Then, they disappeared after half the installation was done on a Thursday and didn't come back till Monday.  Of course no one called to tell me that was happening.  I had had to call the office to find why they were not there the second day at which point Frank, the manager, lied about some panels being damaged, when in fact, they had to fabricate the extra fence needed because of the salesman's measurement.   Final indignity, they put plastic finials on my aluminum fence.  My contract called for aluminum and not plastic, but they refused to change them, claiming that was typical.  I decided to let it go because I have had enough of Fencing South Florida to last me a lifetime.  Now those plastic finals are totally degraded. They have refused to replace them with aluminum ones. The funny thing is, they sent me an email asking me to write a review.  So here it is.   Final answer: never again.

    Sonshine Fence Co
James and his team were professional and courteous from the initial phone call through the final inspection. James is a hands-on owner with a desire to produce the highest quality work and customer service. I contacted several other fencing companies on A.L. prior to hiring James, and his company was the most affordable. I appreciated that James answered his phone promptly and resolved an issue efficiently. Most importantly, the fence looks absolutely incredible and I have a peace of mind when my children are outside playing. I would highly recommend James, in fact I already gave my neighbor his number, and work hire him again. Thank you James, Jason and David from Michael and family.

We were really happy. John Murphy is the owner. I emailed him and I called him. He was very responsive and came out, gave us an estimate. He did the work by the estimated time he had told us. We thought he was very fair. We were just really happy, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We would absolutely call them again.

    Fence Crafters Inc
They are excellent. They were reasonable and the best price. They were superior. It was something I needed and they came back and did it. I saw that one of the railings was sort of off. I called and they did come with no problem. They are reliable. Getting that fence up was the number one priority for me. I told them that one part was still low and I told them that alligators could get under there, so they put a piece there also. I was very happy with their job, 100%. They told me when they were coming, and they came just about when they said they were coming.
