Appliance Repair reviews in Lake City

  • I called and they asked me questions on what was going on. They showed up within the hour of calling, i live 20 mins outside of Lake City. They had the part and repaired in less than an hour and charged $64, the refrigerator has been working ever since, it’s been over 2 yrs since repair and the refrigerator is 12 yrs old!

  • It took a couple of times to find out that all three external circuit boards were fried on it. It was just nothing special, just average. It turned out being more expensive than I planned on, but I really think it was because more was broken than we thought. The quality of work was fine. It took them a while to get out there. Their professionalism was average.

  • I called in the morning requesting a service for a dryer and a washing machine.  He seemed a little irritated.  Asked me for the modle numbers (which are hard for me to see at my age)  instead of waiting for me to read them off, he said he had a customer and to call him back.  Which I did.  Well, he did not like one number and told me to check again and call him back, since I was right there by the refrigerator I said let me give you the number.  He took it and said he was busy and would call me back so far hs=e has not called me back for two days.  I will never call him again.

  • Placed call for him to come look at my dryer that was not working on 3/17. He showed up same day and complained as soon as he walked in the door. Light was bad and clothes (hanging) kept knocking his hat off. Gave me a price of $250 to fix it so I told him I would like to speak with my wife before proceeding because you can almost buy a brand new dryer for that. He said the cost for the service call was $84. I handed him a credit card and he said would have to charge me 4% more. I then offered to go to the ATM (which is 2 minutes from my house). He said he didn't have time for that and left. I called him next day (Tuesday) and set up time for Friday (3/21) to come fix the dryer. He reminded again of the 4% issue with the credit card and I told him I would have cash on Friday. I also told him mornings would work best for me and he gave me a window of 8-11. He called me last night (6pm) to "confirm appointment time". No hello, no this is so and so... just a "you want me there tomorrow? Mind you I work 3 freaking jobs and I had just left my last one. I had to ask who it was twice. I told him I thought we had already decided this and I would see him in the morning. He called me back 20 minutes later and leaves me a long drawn out message that he has a "bad feeling" about the job, and said the way I was treating him was BS. If I wanted him to come then I needed to call him back and say "Yes Glenn please come" or "No Glen, do not come." Furthermore he tells he didn't appreciate my response on Monday and "he ain't gonna follow me around like a puppy to get money from an ATM." He's a busy man and ain't got time for that. WAIT, HUH... WHAT?? Ask any businessman today and I can guarantee they will take cash in-hand before a check or credit card payment. I offered that for his benefit not mine! I don't know what planet this guy is from, but I will be d*** if I am going to cater to someone like that. Total lack of professionalism and looking at other reviews online I see I am not alone. The world does not revolve around you my friend. Save your money folks and use anyone else but this guy!

  • I asked several nieghbors what company they might be familiar with and whom they might have used. I got 4 answers for Glenn Allen and 1 answer for another guy and or Glenn Allen.
Of course I chose Glenn. I called him and he sounded knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He scheduled me a morning call with a three hour window. He called before he showed up and he was on time. He arrived in a professional looking service van. He removed his shoes as he entered the house (very nice).
He went almost straight to the problem and offered me a estimate quote before he did the work. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes. His finish price was the same as the quote. Then he cleaned the top of my washer.
He was quick, efficient and clean.
I will definitely use him again.

  • Excellent. Mr. Hall had worked on my old washer and dryer and let us know when it was time to purchase new ones. He has also worked on my father's refrigerator, washer and dryer and has kept them going for years. Mr. Hall is fair and dependable. I would recommend him to everyone.
