    I'm extremely apprehensive of service people. Often they are more interested in selling a replacement rather than fixing what's existing. I called Service Star and they were very professional from the initial appointment to the final instillation. The service technician arrive when he said he would and his diagnosis mirrored A/C checks I've gotten before and I knew that the unit was on it's last legs, and it was dead now. I was so pleased that I was able to buy a new unit for less than the estimates I've had before at zero percent financing for 18 months . It was installed the very same day and the installers were FABULOUS! Since they were unable to perform the tune-up on the old unit (the $45 service purchased from Angie's list) I requested a refund. They issued a check the very next day . I could not have wanted my experience to be any more perfect. This is certainly a professional organization. I'm a very happy and satisfied customer.

    I have had my car detailed with EMS before so I knew that the service was good and worth the money that I would pay. The deal was not for a detail but a car wash, vacuum, clean windows inside and out, and a nano wax spray. Ken arrived on time and did a fabulous job. The car looks like new. I paid $70 for 2 months of service and look forward to a clean car next month, too.

    Very polite and really knows the Orlando area. I left my cell phone on the seat of his limo on the return trip and he was kind enough to rush back to the airport at no extra cost. That's why I would use him always on my trips. He and his wife also provide transportation for the elderly

    First of all- ?Kudos to Julie T and the Black Diamond team! ? An awesome job!! We quoted our project to several paver companies but we selected Black Diamond. Why? ?We were very impressed by the design concepts, product suggestions and costs that were presented by Julie T and Black Diamond pavers. ?Julie had a sensor of humor and was accommodating to our requests and changes and kept the costs competitive . ? Our concept drawings from competitors were hand drawn and lacked clarity- Julie provided a color CAD model with all details and itemized costs. Our job? ?We had ?larger job that consisted of ?driveway removal and replacement w/ pavers, and then removing multiple concrete patios on the side and back yard and also replacement with pavers. Start to finish, 4.5 weeks. The team at Black Diamon dug out, and seated 10" of gravel and then 1" ?of ?sand with pavers on top- ?all of this is done on top of a geo barrier to prevent sinkage. ?The team ran under ground chase lines (for future sprinklers and electrical). ? Yes, it is a messy process, but the BD paver team kept the site clean and well organized. ?Julie was key to our success, she stayed on top of our job with multiple visits during construction, and any (minor) issue we brought up were quickly and professionally dealt with. Our driveway is gorgeous and gets plenty of compliments from our neighbors. ?The new patio in the back is the center of entertainment and now a family gathering area. ?Yes!! ? Without question, ?we would call and/or refer any work to Julie and the Black Diamond ?team ?for any future paving?projects.

    It went terribly. This has been going on since February. We have a tiled wall between the shower and the bathtub that needed to be repaired. We found out there was a leak in the marble shelf that held up the shower stall. The handyman they sent pulled the whole wall out and started to replace it. He didn't measure it properly and the wall was too short. So he "fixed" it by assembling an extender on the shower. We had also contracted with this company to repair our shower in our other house that my father lives in. When he finished both projects, both showers are leaking. we had multiple problems, including the showers leaking into the repaired wall and multiple colors of tiles in the repair on both houses. After several repairs by a second handyman that the company sent out, we still had same problems.

    Paul, the manager who I was working with at this point, claimed the water damage in the wall was because of the shower stall which the handyman guaranteed would be water tight but at this point (which was May) but now Paul demanded the only way they would guarantee the work was if I repair or replace the shower stall. I did contract another company to do this and we had another shower stall replaced. When the old "defective" shower stall was pulled out, I saw and photographed the proof that there was damage underneath in the form of a crack where the shower stall had been reinstalled by the first handyman. I found these pictures again and will post when I figure out how to do that on here. At that point, the handyman the company sent out said that they had not repaired the wall in the first place so he didn't have to fix it. I had shown him proof on the last visit, in form of receipt and pictures, that the wall had been replaced by the company.

    The company sent out a third person to repair all the problems. The tile was fixed but the stains of the continuous water damage remain, along with cracks in the repairs outside the shower. There are also still cracks in the tiles placed by the third handyman. I was originally promised a partial refund only on the second house if I signed some paperwork concerning the repair but there are so many problems, I don't even know where to begin to get them all repaired. The second home has still yet to be repaired.

    Updated: I did file this complaint because I had not received a call back after numerous complaints and no paperwork along with a refund check. Jesse from the company did finally contact us and has visited both homes and promised a resolution. I will keep this updated with what happens.

    Second Update: 11/14/2015 - The third person who replaced the tiles (his name is Adam) was sent out again. As of now, our work is in progress and we are still being worked on. I will update this space with more information in the future.

    On the day of the service the technician was over an hour late.  Understandable because his work truck brokle down.  Happily that was the only thing that went wrong.  The technitian was obviopusly a professional with years of service in the industry.  He explained exactly what he was doing and took his time making sure that the instillation went exactly as it should have.  He never attempted to sell me on aditional services.  I inquired about other things I would like to have done, and he provided me with, what I consider to be, some great estimates.  I was  pleased with the job they did, but even more so that they honered a 90 estimate they gave me over 6 months earlier, without charging a penny more. Great,  because I didn't have a penny to spare.  Overall,  I give the service an A plus rating.  Would definately use them again

    It took about 40 minutes. He was very honest. He told me all about my system. I told him I wanted to upgrade to another remote and he gave me an estimate for that. He told me the system was in great shape- I just needed some oil here and there. He didn't try to sell me anything- which is good.

     I purchased a coupon for a garage door tune-up on June 6th 2014.  Within an hour I received an email thru Angie's list for information to make an appointment and to notify me that they do not service the Lake Buena Vista area.  I informed them that I lived in Orlando so we made an appointment  for Jun 11th between 11am and 1pm.  The  Discount  Garage Doors operator called me at 10:07am and informed me that my technician (Matt) was outside.   He took a look at the door and assessed its condition.  I knew the door was in pretty good shape and that's exactly what Matt told e adding that I should never get rid of the garage door motor because I had the best one in the business.  I appreciated the honesty.  He looked at it and showed me some of the features of the door and its operation.  This alone was worth the $49 because I had no idea.  I asked questions about retro fitting the doors to hurricane strength and he explained what needed to be done and gave me a price, never trying to sell me on the service while explaining how helpful it would be.  He lubricated the center driver and all of the hinges and inspected the springs, the pulley and balance on the door. Although the rollers may need replacement in a few month everything checked out.   Matt was very professional and I am completely satisfied with his service.  I trust those services that show up and give honest information rather than looking for opportunities to add services.  Matt only gave prices on those serviced I requested information on but when he gave me the pointed out the price list printed on the receipt if there were any additional service I may need in the future.  I am completely satisfied.   AAAA+

    He gave good tips on the system and how we could maintain the system ourselves. He did such a great job that I asked him for some cards to give out to our neighbors. He was very conscientious and he had a passion for his work. He just wanted to provide good service. He spent 3 1/2 to 4 hours at the price above which was very good.
