    1st Class Moving and Storage
I called 1st Class on Friday thinking it would take a couple of weeks to schedule our move, so was thrilled when they had a window of time the following day. Two men arrived promptly, disassembled entertainment center, carefully wrapped individual pieces and moved them to upstairs garage apartment where they reassembled entertainment center. The movers were professional, courteous, and offered suggestions on placement of center. Both my husband and I were very impressed with the quality of this company and would highly recommend them.

They packed moved and unpacked our entire move! They were amazing. Not one thing was broken or a scratch thing. We actually received money back because they completed to entire move and didnt use the next block of Time!!!

    Hilldrup Mayflower
Run, don't walk, to Atlas if you're reading this. Seriously. We had 3 quotes on a 4/3 house move from FL to NC. United came in in the middle. I had heard really good things about Atlas but they were very high (on an already expensive move) so I reluctantly went with Hilldrup. I should have pushed Atlas harder on their price instead. This will be quite long and irritated, so buckle up. If you havent noticed, interstate moving is a racket. You contract with a company, who then basically subs out every aspect of the process. They (and you) have almost no control, and you will rarely hear from anyone along the way. Heres a list of how things went: * Unfortunately we had to move in June, high season, no capacity in trucks * Even after scheduling the move 2 months in advance, a Mayflower truck showed up, already 1/3 full; who the heck are you? * Driver decided to only take the first floors belongings (easier for him) and keep more room for yet another persons belongings * Driver blamed dispatch who is the Mob behind everything, I guess, and decides where your items will go. * At 4pm on moving day we still had 1/3 of our belongings, and the truck pulled away * Hilldrup sent 2 poor guys with no support, and almost no supplies, to load our stuff onto a local truck and cart it back to their warehouse. Their ONLY concern was getting out as fast as possible - our furniture be damned. * We could get no information on when the rest of our belongings would be shipped. * The original driver did a decent job of what he took - if hed had everything we would have been less irritated at the process. But he did not, and then complained that on the NC end he had to take things upstairs! * Several weeks went by, trying to see when the next truck would arrive with our overflow. * Eventually found out it had been crated and sent as freight. * If I had wanted to send it via POD, I would have packed it myself - Im sure we would have been more careful than whomever threw our overflow into those crates. * Weeks later, a truck arrived, also at 4PM, with 2 overworked guys who again wanted nothing more than to race through the unloading. It took 6 hours. * Sofas were put in the crate with no covering, items were simply tossed in, boxes that said top load were crushed int he middle of a stack. This company, or set of contractors, or whatever they pretend to be, makes a huge amount of money from you for a high-end, full-service move, and then basically hires the lowest-paid people they can get away with. Your belongings are of no concern to anyone. To do this again, I think Id hire 2 Men and a Truck, and a POD for everything else. Dont waste your time here. Or your money.

It went extremely well considering the whole operation was done within 48 hours of Hurricane Irma. Nate Stephens and his team worked so hard, completing the job earlier than anticipated meaning we could get settled in and enjoy our new home.

    Strongman Movers LLC
I'd select a lower grade if it were an option. Some words to describe this company are: incompetent, irresponsible, disingenuous, apathetic, unapologetic, hostile, dishonest, and unreliable. I've never experienced something like this before in my life, in terms of both their ability to perform their job and the way that they treated us. They arrived six hours late, showing up after 7pm instead of the initial 12:00-1:00pm. The three tired men who came worked at an alarmingly slow pace and moved boxes well into the next morning, having to stop around 6am due to exhaustion. Nearly twelve hours they took, almost half a day, and they moved only half of our belongings--around twenty boxes--from a two bedroom apartment with an elevator to a second apartment ten minutes down the road. Management tried to get us to pay over $600, well over double the original $300 agreed upon flat fee, with false claims that we'd told them there was a lesser amount of boxes to move than there really were. After us refusing this ludicrous offer, they took the liberty to confiscate our private property, which included a $1300 flatscreen television, and withhold it from us, refusing to give it back until we paid the balance they said we owed them. After days and days, we finally were returned our possessions after agreeing to pay $525, only to find that they'd severely damaged our tv and rendered it useless. And on top of this, they were willing to pay us back only $29 in reparations and damages. At this point, they hadn't even finished the job they'd began, and we had to start looking for other moving companies to deliver the rest of our thirty-something boxes they'd still left behind and not offered to transport. All of this has still yet to be resolved. Throughout this entire experience, management has been very crass and combative, changing stories as they went, providing false witnesses, and making accusations. They went as far as trying to imply that we were scamming them. The owners, Jessica and her husband, have been so presumptuous and condescending, have had such audacity, and have made such brazen claims that it is beyond me how they have a running business. They clearly do not know either how to do their job or how to treat their customers. Lie after excuse after accusation, it feels like speaking to a wall when attempting to fix things. They will say whatever they want in order to either cover their tracks, flip the script, assign blame to somebody other than themselves, or make the customer seem guilty. They are absolutely disgusting and I hope that nobody ever has to experience the ugliness of this company in the future.

    JoChas Moving & Delivery
The company was very responsive, pickup/delivery was late but they kept you updated on the status of your movers, which was awesome. The move process went very smooth, Kevin and Quaron were complete professionals, respectful, and courteous. They treated our belongings as if they were their own. They were knowledgeable and maneuvered huge furniture in confine places with ease, and WITHOUT a scratch. Moving can be very stressful , however thanks to JoChas Moving (the entire team) I was STRESS-FREE. I will definitely recommend JoChas Moving to friends and family. I Highly recommend them.

    Move-Rite
Everything went great, the crew was very safe with my belongings and it was done in a timely manner. They padded and secured my furniture before putting on the truck. Office staff was very helpful in answering my questions the day I called to schedule. I would highly recommend using Move-Rite to my friends and family.
