I spoke with David M. from the Beach Breeze Appliance Repair almost immediately after requesting a service request with Angie's List. He called and asked for the problem with the oven and the model number. He was courteous and told me if he had to come out to repair the oven the service cost would be waved. He checked the model number and said the computer board/relay could not be ordered due to the age of the oven. I appreciated his prompt call, his honesty, and ability to diagnosis the problem. I would use him and recommend his company with out a hesitation. Gr8 service company and owners are hard to find. Thanks David and Angie's List.

Not well. Called vendor to repair one of our coolers. They responded promptly and made a repair saying it was a slow coolant leak. Cost $925+. Approximately 10 days later it started to show signs of the same problem. After several attempts to contact them they returned and said the problem was a "dryer" in the refrigeration line and replaced it. They pointed out that the same problem was possible it our second unit and confirmed that it was going bad and should be replaced too. We allowed them to do that work on the second unit. Cost $950 +. Both units worked well for about 2 weeks but then the most recently repaired unit stopped working all together. We removed the wine from that unit and called for a warranty repair. Again we could not reach them except for voicemail. On several occasions when we did reach a "live" body we were told they would call us back. We did not get said call backs. Finally frustrated we called our credit card provider to get their assistance. The credit card company tried to call but only reached voicemail. Then with the credit card representative on the line we initiated another call and were told that the tech would arrive around 4 pm. He never did nor did he call with an explanation or to reschedule. We have paid these folks almost $1,900 and only one of our units is working. Use caution if you plan to use this company. It appears to be a "one man show".

On 3 separate occasions over several years, Action has repaired this unique, out-of-production range when Sharp factory-authorized repair centers have declined requests. Lenny is thoroughly professional, efficient, and congenial. The entire team is thoroughly organized and customer-service oriented. The repairs included replacement of the "brain," replacement of the thermocouple and replacement of a burner. We couldn't be happier with the experience! One might ask, "Why not replace the range?" It cost nearly $1,500 ten years ago, and the entire kitchen was redesigned around its unique features (waist-high microwave drawer above a conventional/convection oven with a completely unobstructed cooktop). It is irreplaceable.

I contacted R&B through Angie's list to set up an appointment. It took two days for them to respond, but instead of setting up an appointment, they sent me instructions on how to fix the door myself! And it worked! Super impressive.

I used Dollings because they were the authorized service for my DCS built-in grill. From beginning to end, horrible. For the initial visit, I had to wait until 830 the morning of the visit to be informed of my three hour window for later that day. Who do they think they are, Home Depot? On the initial visit, the cost of which was a very generous $140, the estimator told me that I needed rod holders, electrodes, a protective plate, and both U burners. I have no debate that these were needed, and the U burners have a lifetime warranty. Next business day, I got the following estimate from someone at the company (did not identify him/herself): "To repair BBQ $730.00 plus tax. Replacing 2 rod holders, 2 electrodes,2 electrode mounting brackets, I/R protective plate. Also 2 u-burners under warranty. Please advise." I wrote back and asked whether the $140 diagnostic fee would be deducted from that amount, which is standard in the industry. The equally rude response was: "No, Thats our trip charge out . You do not get this charge again. The $730.00 is for parts and labor. The burners are warrantied for rust thru only. The customer is to send photos of any burners with rust thru to DCS with customers name address and model and serial #'s" So in addition to $730 plus $140, I am apparently expected to disassemble the grill myself and deal with the manufacturer for warranty. This, from the manufacturer's authorized service representative, who already took the grill apart and told me I need these parts. This is great service, isn't it? On top of all this, the grill was left disassembled, which would have been fine if they were coming back, but only a fool would use this pathetic company.

They have so much fine print in their agreement where they claim everything is covered but when you read it. Lovely nothing is covered. They also have the option to offer you pennies on the dollar for what is covered . Crooks I filed a complaint with the attorney generals office and the BBB

This company is a total scam. They claim to either fix or repair appliances but today I was told they are refusing to fix my 2 yr old dishwasher and instead will offer me $130 for a dishwasher that cost me $700. Scam! They also find reasons not to pay for anything. They claim to cover electrical but not wires, lights, switches, power surges or fans. What's left? They claim to cover plumbing but not pipes, faucets, missing hot water, or showers. Total scam. STAY AWAY!

After two failed attempts by Brad of Dennis Boyea's Appliance repair I called R & B. I cannot believe how thorough and professional Kenny & Matt were. Not only were they very prompt, but had necessary parts on hand and completed repairs in less than one hour at a very reasonable price. You will not go wrong in using R & B.

I had a concern with a refrigerator and called R & B. When I described the concern, the tech (who was extremely polite and friendly) explained that he thought it actually was not a problem at all, but just a sloppy fix done by another company previously. He asked for pictures to confirm, and he was indeed correct. He saved me a lot of time and money! I will DEFINITELY call them in the future if my appliances ever need work!!

They must have been out at least 15 times, to many times to recount. The last time they were out would have been probably October 26th. It was under warranty. The other repairs were done by the manufactures, they sent different repair people out. I stopped calling them since they did such a terrible job. I used a different repair company, other than for the warranty work. They were doing such a terrible job in damaging things in the process.

What stood out to me the most was incompetence. They come out, there is obviously a problem and they are trying to make it look like, basically just live with it. I didn?t know how to say it, but it?s like basically, you are just going to have to live with that attitude.
I don?t pay $18,000 for appliances and just say that I have to live with it when they are not working right.
