AI highly recommend Salif as a life coach. In our work together focusing on life obstacles, he provided exceptional value in his ability to offer concrete tools, identify obstacles, and create a plan of action. My sessions with him helped to identify what was preventing me from reaching my goals and living the life I really wanted. He was very understanding and provided a supportive ear to gain the clarity for change.

Drug Rehab Program A lot of people in Perry, FL don’t really understand drug and substance addiction. The thing about dependency is that it’s hard to understand if you’ve never experienced it yourself or known someone who is struggling. Dependency on drugs and alcohol isn’t an error in someone’s moral compass, and it isn’t able to be easily controlled. Actually, dependency on drugs and alcohol is an illness that can make life a challenge. Nobody decides that they’ll become an addict, but addi...

AJulie Floyd MDOur regular doctor was not practicing locally for a little while and my husband was having severe hip pain. She sent us down to Key West to see Dr. Julie, see if she could do anything for him. We had no trouble getting an appointment and there was no problem in her taking us on as patients. When we first started seeing her, we had to submit our own insurance claims. Becky, Dr. Floyd's receptionist, helped me with the paperwork that was needed. There is a small waiting area that is also a "store" filled with all kinds of interesting natural remedies for minor ailments, beauty products and more. One can browse while you're waiting, (which is never very long!)but there is no high pressure or pushing any products at any time, although they will answer any questions you might have about any of the products. She and her staff are very personable, professional and efficient. We feel as though we really know them all, they are like concerned "friends" that we go to Key West to visit 4 or 5 times a year!- Karen C.

ABenhamou, Dr. EliasDr Ben & his entire staff are always professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. There's usually quite a wait to see the doc, even tho you have a scheduled appointment, but I have to believe that's because they're always so complete and thorough with their examinations. Dr. Ben takes the time to make sure he and you both totally understand your problem & symptoms, and what the course of treatment is going to be. He answers all questions and listens carefully to what you have to say and addresses all concerns right then. When treatment is indicated, he is clean and quick. His technicians & assistants always take care to make sure you are comfortable and not worried. Even my husband is treated well while I am undergoing office procedures. The anesthesiologists are always right there and they pay close attention so that they can be immediately aware of an emergency, should one arise. They make sure I'm nice & relaxed and as pain-free as possible. The billing staff has never made a mistake in my account and the office clerks are prompt in answering the phones & resolving any scheduling conflicts I might have.- Karin C.

AComprehensive Pain Mgmt. of North FloridaI've been a patient of Dr. Zhou's for seven years. I saw three other physicians prior with disappointing results. Dr Zhou has helped me immeasurably. Prior to seeing him I could not walk without a walker and was in excruciating pain constantly. As a result I was also sleep deprived. Dr. Zhou has put me on a treatment plan which has reduced the pain and greatly improved my quality of life. He listens to me and is sincerely concerned about my wellbeing. I highly recommend Dr Zhou and his team.- shirley m.

ALisch, Dr. MarkBased on Dr's recommendations, we started out with the most minimally invasive treatment, and it worked almost immediately. However, as he'd suggested it might, the severe pain returned within two weeks. The next options were reviewed and we all decided surgery was best. I couldn't get into his surgical rotation for another 2 months, so he prescribed me crutches in the meantime. One month went by and they had a cancellation in their roster, so they called me and I literally jumped on the chance for surgery the very next day. I was very afraid going in, to the point of crying almost hysterically, at which the nurses noticed my distress and took measures to calm my nerves. Coming out of surgery, I cried again, but this time happy tears, because the pain was immediately and totally gone. First time in months! My surgical follow-up appointments went well and I was good for about 6 months. Then I fell off my flip-flop and over-stretched my Achilles tendon. Dr. Lisch was able to see me right away and took care of the problem with some n-saids and going back into my orthotic boot for another couple of months.- Karin C.

BComprehensive Pain Mgmt.I have only been seeing this doctor since moving to the area and because of the new laws about pain medicine. I have to see a pain management doctor. He has been doing o.k. but I find mysellf having a hard time getting used to doing this. For years I had just gone to my rheumatologists. This a new experience for me and I am having trouble getting used to going to a new doctor. He has also been trying to help my pain with injections. His staff that does part of this is very thorough in explaining what is to be done. I like that you can get an appointment without much of a wait and if you run into problem like in more pain then usual he will see you right away. Also he will himself talk to you on the phone. I really like this better than having a nurse relay messages. Another thing is I don't feel like he is in a hurry to get me out of there and also comes out and talks to ones who may be with you.- Bootsy B.

FWright, Dr. Richard L.I refuse to go to a doctors office or for that matter any place where there are rude people at- KATRINA H.

FWright, Dr. Richard L.Upon arriving for my appt., the front office workers were in deep conversation regarding their sexual liasons & discussing if they were heterosexual or homosexual. Upon entering the area where vital signs were taken, other patient's billing, and lack of payments along with these other patient's names (HIPPA) ??? were being discussed for any and all to hear. Many employees were cursing & VERY unprofessional. The initial visit was ok, though I was informed that I could only see a physicians asst, as the doctor refuses to see any patients anymore. I was informed that the only reason he was in the building was because "he has the license". Upon waiting to be seen, I overheard nurses in and around the nursing desk discussing their morning's meeting regarding the fact that all patients were needing to have EKG's, and PFT's (breathing tests) and that it was mandatory per the CEO, the head of billing & the doctor - to perform these tests necessary or not, & to bill medicare & recoup costs lost by the recent medicare cuts. I was quit disgusted and upon leaving & paying my bill, I did not get a thank you, have a nice day, or please come again. A smile from ANY worker at this docor's office was definately an impossibility & I often pray for the many patients that this practice sees. I have serious doubts as to the care they are receiving, the quality of service they get, or how many tests are run on these patients that are not necessary!- mary b.
