    Homosassa Animal And Bird Hospital
9/13/2018 I wanted to write a new review but was not an option. So...Here I am again reviewing Dr. Hall a third time as she has saved my bunny's (Roger Rabbit) life twice (6/4/2018 and 9/13/2018) this year. She is amazing and her dedication to every kind of animal brought her way is astounding. She will research, check with a colleague or whatever it takes that she feels will help her in resolving any and all issues. I am blessed to have found her and her hospital. The staff certainly are dedicated and their patience and kindness is wonderful. They all deserve 10 stars! This is my second review and the first was a few months ago on 6/4/2018 so you may see that review, please know she saved Roger twice. Once for eating paper that expanded inside him giving him a lot of issues and this time for Bladder Stones requiring surgery in a 4.1 lb bunny that had several. Have been going to Dr. Hall since 2012 when I relocated to this area.

Cat, Selous, was able to return home after about 40 hours and has been trouble free since that time. Staff and doctors were polite, professional, efficient and personable. Selous spent little time waiting to be treated. COST OF TREATMENT WAS LESS THAN THE EAST COAST AVERAGE.

Service, without exception, has been consistently exceptional!! Prompt. On time. Communicates thoroughly.  Responsive to short term pet support requirements (feeding, watering, walking, overnights).  Has become a "member of our household", as her services have been used frequently during this year (2014).  If there were a 20-Star rating system, she'd get 20 big ones!!!!!  If reliability is important, you need look no further!!!!

    Lecanto Veterinary Hospital
I have worked at animal hospitals in the past. This practice far exceeds past experiences (personal or professional). This place is so awesome that I almost wanted to keep it a " secret "! !They are the absolute best and you will hear praise for the Doctors & staff all over the county. The prices quite frankly shocked me (in a good way). I moved here from Lee County Fl and had anticipated that
my equine emergency to cost the same (400. +) as you would expect to pay there, But it was HALF that amount .Dr.Wade came to the house @  2 am (sorry Dr.Phillips) very knowledgeable, caring & upbeat and saved the day and my horse !He also suggested a preventative maintenance treatment to avoid future occurences and that has worked for me without fail .
I have gone nowhere else since and each experience continues to warm my heart because they truly care about pets and the people that love them .My senior  dog was put down at home (cancer) and Doctor Spann commented that the  "experience"was beautiful"and it actually was.I was not able to properly thank her at the time but I want to acknowledge here that  thanks to Dr.Spann,  I was able to do what had to be done for my dog in such a peaceful, dignified& loving manner. The veterinary practices I used in the past left me feeling taken advantage of and judged if you didn't forsake your family's financial security every time you walked in the door !This place is so different, the way things should be.
I highly suggest that you trust the doctors (all 3 are wonderful) and staff of Lecanto Veterinary because as I said; they TRULY DO care for  pets and people like family :)
    Thank you,
    Lynn Durham

Our dog has issues with having his nails trimmed. We took him here for first time and the trimming went smother than it has in years past. The owner groomer was calm and our dog seemed to like him unlike other groomer which he has hated. I will bring our dog back for monthly trimming and for bathing every now and then.very impressed with the groomers way with our dog.

The office staff were incredibly pleasant to deal with. My dog does not do well with other dogs, and they brought us in at a time when there were no other animals present. While taking blood and tissue samples from my dog, the vet and assistant were very good with her. They were gentle, yet firm and reassuring to both of us. My dog is a pitbull, so I was pleased that they were so caring to her, when some people are quite stand-offish to the breed. They explained the process that would happen with her surgery. They updated me throughout the day when she came out of surgery and when I could come pick her up. They were very clear in explaining the follow-up care that I should give at home. Willow, my 10-year-old dog, healed beautifully and is doing truly better physically than ever in her adult life. I would highly recommend this very professional practice to anyone who loves their pets. This is a vet's office that truly cares about animals!

Team came on time. They were very professional and were great with my animals. One of my ponies needed his teeth floated but the other could wait. I appreciated the honest assessment . Of course if both would have needed it I would have done it, but economically it would have been difficult. I was given an honest assessment and options. Consideration was given to both my animals and myself. They were great. Prices were reasonable.

I called to see when I could get an available appointment and was able to get in right away. When I arrived I was greeted by the groomer, Scott. He was very nice and understanding. He listened to how I wanted my little Molly to look, and seemed to genuinely understand that I had been busy and had let her go a little bit. After we talked about Molly and what all she needed, he said he would call me when she was ready to be picked up. I had only left her for about an hour and a half before Scott called and said Molly was ready to be picked up. I was a little skeptical about what she was going to look like, since Scott was done so quickly, but to my surprise she looked amazing! She has never looked so good! And her hair was incredibly soft and silky. I was very pleased with Scott's work and will use him again.

We're been using TLC, Carrie for 4 - 5 years now.  She had an ad in our local paper and we call her.  She came to the house at the appointed time with her paper work for our file and all kind of info she needed on the dogs and the house, very thorough.  Carrie always double checks her info for any changes on the dogs and the house in between jobs.  .  We come home to happy well taken care of pets and house with a note on what she did with the dogs.  When we had a 55 gal. fish tank with auto feed she would turn on the light in the evening and check for floaters.  She also wants you to call her upon arriving home just in case. If flying she has our flight #'s and checks to see if they are on time if not she makes an extra visit to put the dogs out. She is wonderful and very professional, actually better than family!

I adopted a pet bunny that was left in a foreclosure. He was only 3 1/2 lbs, so a little French Angora. He got ill and would not eat or drink. The clinic was outstanding. I took him there during the day for them to watch and care for and brought him home at night not to stress him out. The young ladies who work there for the veternarians were so good to him. In between patiens they talked to him, pet him, and made him feel safe. The veteranarin Dr. Pam is an exotic pet vet and she has many of her own so really knows so much. Her partner Dr. Baker is a cat and dog vet but on her days there when Dr. Pam was off she would spend time with Roger (my bunny) too. He got better and I had to go on a trip so had to leave him on a Sunday when they are closed. Sarah went in at 8 to meet us and spend some time with him and back in at 5 to check on him. They left the light on and let me take a radio as he loves talk radio. I think it is from having been left abandoned in a foreclosure. Who does that?
The staff even cut up his strawberries and added them to his lettuce with carrots to make it more appealing. I would go in at night and one would be carrying him like a baby. He was so spoiled by them as he is by me. The one technician that had to give him syringes of force feeding hated to do that and was so good with him he wanted to give her bunny kisses. What a treat this place is and how great the doctors there are for your pets!!
I had to take a business trip for two days and was so upset over leaving him alone but they did everything they could for him. He was interacting well with them when I got him today. He is very comfortable with all of them. I valued them so much I took in a present for them even though I paid them. They go above and beyond animal care, it is real patient and and quot;childand quot; care for those of us who see our pets as our children. If you think I am not a real client of theirs or a family member just tell them you want Roger's and quot;momand quot; to call you and tell you herself how great they are and that she really wrote this comment. I may have to relocate for my job and am thinking of finding another job just to be near this veterarian clinic.
The question about where the services were performed is strange. It was performed at 3820 Burns Road in Palm Beach Gardens, FL close to my home in Palm Beach Gardens.
