    David Cheong MD
Dr Cheong did a magnificent job. I went home the same day and I have progressed quite well. I saw him after 2 weeks and he was very proud of how far I had come since surgery. On my pre op visit he explained everything he was going to do and showed me photos of my knee and what it was going to look like after surgery. He has sent me to outpatient therapy to further my recoperation and that is working out quite well. I highly recommend Dr Cheong if you need someone to fix your joints that have gone bad.

    Bernasek, Dr. Thomas L
A highly skilled and compassionate practitioner with an outstanding international reputation. I had a complicated surgery with significant post-op pain, but Dr. Bernasek and his staff suggested several different meds till we found one that worked. Only downsides are long wait times and a clerical staff that often doesn’t return phone calls, but I would unhesitatingly recommend Dr. Bernasek. Many nurses I’ve spoken to say he is the best, and I believe it.

    Meinhardt, Dr. Phillip A.
Dr. Meinhardt was a life-saver for us. My husband had spinal fusion surgery. It was his sixth back surgery and something that we had tried to avoid for a long time. About three weeks after surgery he started to experience a lot of pain to the point that we ended up in the emergency room on a Saturday night. Dr. Meinhardt did everything he could to figure out why my husband was still in so much pain and finally sent him for an MRI. The MRI happened on a Thursday and then Saturday morning Dr. Meinhardt called my husband. My husband wasn't able to answer the phone so Dr. Meinhardt left a voice mail and gave his personal cell phone number to call him back at. It turns out that the MRI showed signs of a spinal infection and he needed my husband to go to the emergency room for blood tests to determine how bad the infection was. He stayed in touch with my husband the whole time via calls and texts. My husband ended up being admitted to get further tests. When a mix-up happened at the hospital that delayed the tests by a couple of days Dr. Meinhardt raised **** with the offending department. He visited him every single day, multiple times a day, and texted with him constantly to check on him. How many surgeons would do this??? We ended up having a six week course of IV antibiotics to fight the infection and my husband had to do six weeks of physical therapy but he's got a quality of life back that he hasn't had in years thanks to Dr. Meinhardt.

    Mirabello, Dr. Steven C
Dr. Mirabello repaired my right rotator cuff in April, 2016. Since surgery I have experienced more pain than before as well as weakness in my arm. I have revisited Dr. Mirabello and he has tried a few therapies that haven't worked. During one visit he became quite angry because I couldn't recall exactly where his assistant had given me an injection three months earlier. During my last visit he said that my symptoms were not surgical, whatever that means. The bottom line is, even though my pain is not surgical I now have more pain than before surgery. Given his credentials and experience, I believe Dr. Mirabello knows exactly what the problem is but doesn't want to deal with it because it is not high profit or he might need to admit that he made a mistake. His bedside manner is appalling.

    All Florida Orthopedic Assocs
Reception staff and nursing personnel have been very pleasant and efficient. Dr. Hirshorn is a skilled surgeon with a great bedside manner. I couldn't be more satisfied. D. J. Robbins, who does his surgical scheduling, is very knowledgeable and warm. She is able to answer all your questions or find out the answers for you. She's a gem! I am grateful for their dedication and service.

    Sharf, Dr. Howard W.
Still recovering 3 weeks in, and pain and numbness in legs and feet is gone. Still pretty weak and worn, will start rehab I guess in a week or so. Only complaint so far is that I have not seen the actual doctor after surgery. All is handled by McCloskey the P.A. He does fine, but I would have liked at least one meeting with the surgeon to reassure me what he saw/did/felt, etc.

I am still under Dr Frankle's care. My recovery is a process to have full range motion. I am progressing very well and couldn't be more pleased.

    Kilgore, Dr. John E.
I was told by another doctor, I had to have injections, in order to get a knee replacement. Very painful. Therapy painful, but I did eventually feel better. Dr. Kilgore said they now do sonograms to do injections. Pain came back after 2 months. Dr. Kilgore told me I needed the knee replacement. Had right knee done in 2008, by Dr. Kilgore, and it went very well. I did trust Dr. Kilgore for my left knee. Glad it is done, and no more bone on bone pain. Healing will take awhile, however, I feel very grateful I could have this done. Chris was great. Patient and kind. Reassured me about pain medicine.

    Dr. Sanjay Menon
He is at the Sun Coast Medical Building. There are a couple of other doctors in the office with him. He's very patient and takes his time. He is an excellent diagnostician and is actually a very skilled surgeon. He has done surgery on me three times and I am pleased with that.

    AvantGarde Urgent Care
Our first visit here was yesterday for my son's summer camp physical in Tampa. We needed to see someone after-hours so we visited this walk-in clinic that is conveniently close to our house.  The convenience of walking in with no appointment and being treated as if it was our regular doctor was absolutely great. The office is new, clean and organized. The physical was done by a Family Physician  and in less than 30 minutes we were done. I am happy we found this walk-in clinic because  there was no wait time, we were treated great by the staff, the doctor was thorough and we are now finally ready for summer camp!
