Country Inn Pet Resort & Animal Hospital
We have used Country Inn Pet Resort and Animal Hospital. located at 2100 S Flamingo Rd, Davie, FL 954-424-6525 for our 4 dogs (2 french bulldogs and 2 boxers). On one side of this complex is the animal hospital. On the other side is the resort. There are 2 vets; they have pet training (the Caesar's Way- the Dog Whisperer) and pet boarding. When boarding, if there is any problem during a stay there, the assistants will walk across the hallway and let the vet see our dogs. The dogs have stayed at the pet resort and as well as see the vets for a few years now. Our dogs get all their medical needs as well as get treated for any problems that may arise. Country Inn really takes care of the dogs. We absolutely trust and love Country Inn Animal Hospital and Pet Resort. We recommend Country Inn Animal Hospital and Pet Resort to anyone !!!

    Neighborhood Pet Sitter, Inc.
It went great. The day I left Lulu to be boarded, I left for Colorado. Of course, Dorian was determined that day to be a hurricane. Despite the initial sitter leaving the state, Lulu was placed with another sitter. I came home a day early (knowing if I didn't get back on Sunday, I might not get back until Thursday with airport closures). They even refunded me the extra day I didn't use. During Lulu's stay, I was texted pics and updates. Very caring and professional. Lots of thumbs up.

    Fun Paw Care
When I saw my cat Leo for the time I knew we had chosen each other. I was peacefully sitting on the bench outside one of my vegan spots in town while waiting for my order to arrive when on my right I saw a cat sleeping peacefully. I reached to pet him and he woke up gently from my touch and he then proceeded to get situated on my lap.  I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled at the same time. After getting clearance from the cashier, she assured me he did not belong to anyone and that I was welcome to take him if I so desired. I had just manifested a cat. I was super excited.   The adaptation from outdoor cat to an indoor cat has been rather challenging for me in addition to his litter box problems, and incontinence issues.  I realized that I needed a cat behaviorist and trainer to help me.  Luckily that wasnt a problem since I have a cat veterinarian specialist and friends with cats that all recommended Russell.   After working with Russell, we set up my home to allow Leo to have both an indoor and outdoor enriched life.  I am lucky enough to have a backyard with many trees that Leo loves. We set up a special safe are for him to be fulfilled outdoors. It was perfect for Leo to run around and sleep under the green lush foliage.     Also, at the beginning of my adopting Leo, he struggled to keep himself clean. Having had a cat before I knew this cat behavior was also uncommon. Even though I had thought I knew a lot about cats I hired Russell, an LA cat Behaviorist at Fun Paw Care who helped me with all of Leo (and my) issues. He made recommendations to make Leo less stressed and to feel more comfortable and welcome with: Various Toys, Litter boxs, cat training and the whole workup in my home and outdoors.   What I also realized through Russells guidance and advice is that my personal state and the way I was reacting to Leo was also affecting Leo's health.  As I began to stop reacting to Leos behavior problems, and instead integrating Russells suggestions the problems gradually went away! Now, I can be sure he gets a better life with me in his new home.     Russell comes highly recommended! He is understanding, extremely knowledgeable about cats, thoughtful and compassionate. Thank you so much for all your kindness, guidance and wisdom, you gracefully shared with me in what I like to see as a lesson in building a lasting bond with a furry friend in sickness or in health.

    Kandi's Professional Dog Training
absolutely fantastic! unbelievable. I tried to train him through petsmart, and basics were done but did not listen to come when called. And he pulled terribly when walking. My friend used Kandi a while ago and suggested me to take my dog there. I left him with her for 2 weeks and it was a complete change! He listens, and obeys now and is wonderful with all people.

    Pet Sitters and More LLC
This is the second time I have used Pet Sitters and More to take care of my pets while away. They are outstanding! Its such a nice feeling to know my fur babies are in good hands while I'm gone. I am completely satisfied in their services. I can really enjoy my time away without worrying if the pet sitters are doing their job etc. Also, my bunnies are not easy to care for they require a lot of care and maintenance, the sitters have always gone above and beyond in the care they provide for all of my pets doing whatever is necessary to keep things running smoothly, cleaning , grooming , everything that is needed. They are also great with communication and I receive daily updates and pics/videos of my pets. I definitely recommend Pet Sitters and More!

    VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital
I wish I could give them a minus rating. When I took my dog there for a consult he was walking well and pain free coming in. They persuade me to pay for an x-ray on his hips (done under anesthesia) to make sure his hips are ok as I was worried about the right hind leg. Dr Jon Dee came out and told me that in the x-ray his hips look fine and that they pushed his right hind leg to make sure its in and stay in. When he came out and could not walk, both me and the tech barely got him to the car, The tech said that he is wobbly because of the anesthesia but after it wore off he could no longer walk again. He seems to be in pain and is unable to step on his right foot. When I contracted the vet he prescribe pain meds. When I contacted him again after a few days he didnt respond. A week later and the dog cant step on his right leg and have problem walking on 3 legs, is in pain and might be crippled like that for the rest of his life. The vets were very careless pushing his leg when there was no reason to. They are not accountable when they injure an animal. The only thing they care about is making money for themselves and the big VCA corporation. we are heartbroken that they injured our dog and never thought that taking him there was putting him in danger.

    Doggie Au Pair
Meghan and her team were AMAZING! I can not overstate the professionalism, compassion and knowledge they always conduct themselves with. We came home to evidence of them going the extra mile everywhere but most of all, happy, well taken care of fur babies (and we have a lot). I would absolutely recommend this company to everyone. I can not thank the team enough for their attention, dedication and constant level of communication.

    VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital
We pulled our five pets out of this vet recently after five years because 1) the vet (woman, middle-aged, blond, big) has gotten very inarticulate yet condescending (starting every conversation with let me finish) and the med director is a rude arrogant guy also. After tellling him weeks ago that I was taking all 5 pets out out their care and calling their VCA corporate number to also tell them this, he (the med director ) feels he has to send me a letter saying they are discontinuing my care. (What a joke!) How small and defensive can VCA HAH get!!! Anyway I have long since found a great vet, Dr Bob at Sheridan Animal Hospital, where they answer their phones (don't take 10 mins like VCA HAH) and where they are not so assembly line. Another big thing with VCA HAH is their disorganized records. For two of my pets, 2 days in a row, they messed up their medical records. A black cat (tuxedo) they had as brown on the form and they erroneously said that he was found at a shelter (wrong) and for another cat they had lost the notes entirely for his last phys exam, and then when I noticed this and pursued it, they found some scribbled vet notes that I requested they type like the others (so I could understand them) and that is when the mgr and med director got very defensive (med director said oh I can read them) like that is all that matters (not the customer). (Accurate Records are important for pet insurance.) This place has real problems and it starts with bad mgmt from the director and office mgr and a condescending vet who does not want to articulate things for people who want to understand! The off mgr can respond below but I would think she has way better things to do, and I sure have better things to do then to hear anything more from this dysfunctional place. It is my experience and that of several others (on YELP they put the great bulk of the negative 1-star reviews on the "REVIEWS NOT RECOMMENDED" area and don't let them affect the rating there.

    Peaceful Vet Visit
Dr. Adamson is wonderful. She was my dog's vet for most of his almost 16 years. As his Vet, she moved around a lot, but we followed her everywhere she would go because she was so good! She comes to your home for the euthanasia. My dog HATED the car, so this was very nice in that respect, but also because it was such a painful experience the privacy was priceless. It was wonderful to have her with us in the end since she knew him so well. She communicated everything she was doing. She asked questions about things you have not thought about due to the stress of the situation. It was a terribly painful time, but her kindness helped us through. I chose cremation, and she delivered his ashes to my home a few days later. They were in a beautiful box covered with toile bag. On the spine of the box, it says: "The Chapter We Shared"/ "The Life We Shared" and on the cover, it says: "Honoring the Journey". When you open the box there is literature about losing a pet, a pin that represents the compass of life, and a card that has a small paper heart with seeds embedded that you can "plant" and flowers bloom. In a compartment below this is where the ashes are placed, wrapped with purple tissue paper and inside a pink toile fabric bag. Overall, it was one of the most painful times in my life, but she was just the best!

    DPC Veterinary Hospital
I have been taking my dog there since August of 2016. We had just moved in so my dog's stomach was stirring up all the time. We found out it was stress-related and we had to test her. I stay with them because they are excellent. They are very kind to my dog. They are very informative. They tell you pretty much -- they have a lot of information to give you. Some vets are not like that, they are just in and out and that's it. They take time with you and they take time with the dog. They are very hands-on and at the same time they are very sympathetic and empathetic with you and dealing with your animal. They get to the heart of it and they don't waste time; they are good.
