  • Excellent, excellent, excellent! This is the first review that I write with great enthusiasm because our entire experience with Gutter MD was literally exceptional! Initially contacting Gutter MD was super easy and they were very responsive, getting back with me right away to schedule us for an estimate. Gutter MD showed up on time, as scheduled, and we were provided an estimate for our project needs. Our estimate was very competitively priced. We immediately decided to hire them for the job, even if we had to wait to get on the schedule and even if we actually were quoted more than shopping around. We felt so confident in their ability to do our job correctly and meet our needs for the project to accomplish our goals. Gutter MD was extremely professional, calling us the day of our project to let us know they were on their way, spending the time at our home and carefully tackling our project to resolve issues we had with needing full gutters installed around the entire house. We are incredibly highly satisfied with the quality of the work, materials, installation, and look of our gutters on our home. Thank you Gutter MD for the exceptional customer experience and full gutter installation on our home! We have already referred some colleagues and friends that have asked us for recommendations for gutters!

  • There were a few cracked and chipped pavers that they came back out to repair. At that time I had added additional patio with the left over pavers. I can’t be happier. The final project looks awesome.

  • Stay away from this company, even though the owner Hugo might offer you an attractive pricing. Extra few hundred dollars are NOT worth all the hustle, cheap plants, mediocre quality and extremely bad customer service. I hired them to do 2-3 days long work project, the contract the provide structured to get most of the money upfront, which is the bait. After deposit is received the owner starts coming up with ton of excuses why he can't either start, continue or finish the work. The actual job went though numerous delays, cut corners on the quality, which owner tries to hide and present that job he does is way to go and if you try to point out at these issues, he gets aggravated. At the job he is acting like he wants to leave as soon as possible, rushing his workers to do the work quickly and at a lousy quality. Instead of 2-3 days it took 2 months to complete at 95%. Hugo refused to come and finish the job stating that he does not have any free worker to do so. I will report his actions to BBB and some government agencies to check on his workers compensation policies and accounting records. UPDATE 10-22-17 In the response posted to my previous post: Angi, no need to lie here about the plants, we presented you the list we wanted and Hugo said he can do it for price he quoted. When he came with plants, he chose the cheapest from the list and added only one, stating that if we want more, we have to buy on our own and he will plan them. When he installed borders, he add cement only to some of them, because he ran out of it and instead of being a professional and coming back to finish the rest of work, he simply covered that area with mulch, hoping no one will notice it. When I confronted him with this issue, he became aggravated and stated that it is OK to have those borders without cement, so now if someone passing by and accidentally bumps one of them, they fall like domino. You are a bad quality company, you could have fixed everything in about an hour, but instead you are spending your time trying to prove me wrong. Hugo admitted over the phone that he will fix it, but he never came to do it. Good luck proving to others that you are a great company, whoever has internet access now and can get to any of the sites where your company appears will be able to read my opinion.

  • Fantastic experience from start to finish. Set up appointment and came out to give the estimate. Moved forward and was scheduled for the work to be done the following week. The moved existing rock fill, placed in edging river rocks and cleaned up all the foliage and palms. Had them install underground drainage from rain spouts. So pleased with it I had them come back and install another one. I also had them trim all the Palm Trees at the same time. The three guys that came out worked unbelievable hard. Great work at a reasonable price. Highly recommend them!!

  • They came out but they couldn't do it because they said the pipe was scratched so they wound up putting new pipes. They told me after they put the dirt, that they wouldn't grade it, so I had to grade it. I was out of town when they did this work. I didn't get any other estimates because I was going out of town so I just had the work done.

  • Job was faster and better than expected.  I would recommend A1 Underground with my eyes closed.  Honest and very professional.  Something we don't always find in today's world.

  • Our septic system was draining very slow and started to back up into the house. A-Z  gave us the option to service the drainfield rather than spending over $4k to replace it.  Brian was honest in saying that there was no guarantee that would fix the problem, but recommended trying.  They were able to use high pressure jets to clear out the lines.  In addition, the baffle had to be replaced and there is a possibility that when another company pumped out the tank last year, they missed the fact that it was broken.
Brian and his assistant were punctual on both appointments, friendly, knowledgeable and did not leave us with a mess to clean up.
We have had no further problems with the system since this fix and we would definitely use A to Z for any other plumbing needs.
    Thank you!

  • Brian arrived when scheduled in a well stocked truck and a helper following behind in a SUV, both with company markings.  They proceeded to excavate and expose the old sewer drain pipe.  They showed me where vegetation had infiltrated the pipe and how sections of the pipe had either never been glued together or had come unglued, causing nearby trees and bushes to "seek" out the drain pipe and break into the cracks.  When they needed to dig down to the level of the city sewer pipe they brought in a large "vacuum cleaner" type machine to quickly dig the hole.  At this point there were four men and three vehicles on the job.  They showed me where they found a large hunk of tree wood where my sewer pipe met the sewer line.  These flaws had been causing me to have the line snaked out every 14 - 18 months for the past five years.  They cut back the roots of a nearby tree quite a bit (which may cause the tree to die, but they got my approval first).  Then they installed the new pipe, sealed up everything, and filled in all holes.  At the end the ground surface was level and as close as possible to its condition before the work.  They cleaned up thoroughly and left everything apparently in good order.  They finished six hours after they started which was exactly their estimate.
When I had called about the blockage a couple of days previously they dispatched Brian  within three hours and he gave me an estimate both on temporarily snaking out the drain to get me through until they could replace it, and on the big job of installing the new pipe.  Estimates of time and cost proved accurate.
The only slight negative about the firm is the pricing.  In the past I had hired independent plumbers to snake out the drain each year and they had typically charged $95, whereas A to Z Statewide Plumbing charges $386 for the same work after the Angie's List discount.  In this case, they did apply $200 of that towards the big job, which would otherwise have cost $1892.  So that's the only thing I gave them less than an A on.  But they do have a full staff of guys who seem to know their work, plus a lot of specialized equipment which is no doubt expensive, so maybe that's why they have to charge more.  I wouldn't recommend them for a small job, but for a large project like this I feel they are worth the expense.
