    All-Dixie Moving Services LLC
I am very pleased with All-Dixie Moving. They moved us quickly, with no damage. The three movers they sent were polite and professional. They were willing to make two trips to get everything done safely, rather than try to cram everything in to make just one trip. They were a little later arriving than the agreed-upon time, but they called ahead to let us know they were on their way and when they would arrive. They did a great job.

    Greek Moving & Storage
Terrible. They said they would come to pick me up and deliver my furniture with a same truck. They did off load and damaged the furniture on that process. They did not provide an inventory of the boxes and they denied that there's 1 box missing. There's no documentation so that they could track it. Very unprofessional. There's a discrepancy between the number of boxes the that they have charged to pack vs. the number of boxes they actually packed.

    all area moving and storage
The crew arrived on time and provided all the tools and supplies in order to perform packing in an efficient manner, taking extra care of our delicate and personal items. The moving itself went very smoothly, arriving perfectly on time an delivered all furniture, boxes, etc. intact. We were very impressed for the way they carefully wrapped the furniture, and the glass table tops. There were neither damages nor scratches or dents on any item after delivery. Also very impressive, the way they maneuvered around the homes never causing damages. Moving could be very stressful, but the way they did it was relaxing and fun. Great guys to trust for a wonderful moving experience!

    Greek Moving & Storage
The sales rep was courteous, professional and responsive, and the team sent to pack did a good job. Goods arrived at both locations with items damaged and missing. I sent emails with photos, and left voice messages, but could not get a response. After I wrote that I would report them to Angie's List, I finally received a call, more than a month after first contacting them regarding the damage. I was told that they estimated the value of loss and damage at $280 and offered $100 to settle. I responded that their valuation was unrealistically low and said I would provide my own. I researched the internet to obtain the competitive cost of replacing the damaged or missing items. Two of the items were antiques for which a retail replacement was not available: a floor lamp in which a brass foot was broken off and a mirror in which part of the carved wood frame was broken off and lost. For these, I listed the actual cost I incurred to have an antiques repair company fabricate a "fix," which, in neither case, were they able to match the original design (thus permanently reducing the value of these items). I sent the documented cost/repair list back to Greek Moving, indicating a total value of $1,072.90. This included the cost for 5 items ranging from $46 to $450, and did NOT include the lost value of the two antique pieces. (I originally paid about $1,200 for these two items; now they are garage sale pieces.) Upon receiving my estimate for the value of repair/replacement, the company called to offer compensation totaling $15. When I asked about $100 I was previously offered, I was told that $15 was all that I was "legally entitled to." Later, after receiving the email with their offer, it was raised to $27. Throughout this process, the person assigned to handle my claim was patronizing and condescending. During our initial conversation, he tried to pressure me to sign the release for $100, after which I told him I only wanted to correspond in writing. He continued to call me after this with the same pressure to sign. Notwithstanding all the legal restrictions built into standard contracts for moving, my experience with previous moving companies in handling claims has been generally very fair. This was not the case with Greek Moving. (Based on many previous moves, I found moving insurance companies generally disreputable with policies containing so many restrictions that it is extremely difficult to ever collect for damages. This conclusion was confirmed by the owner of the last moving company I used.) Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with their handling of my claim. These moves cost $17,000 (plus a last minute charge of $995 for two weeks storage when I needed to delay the move into NYC. In addition, I directed a third move to Greek, by the family that bought my house.) After all this, to offer $27 is unreasonable, even insulting. As a business owner myself, I would never treat a client as I was treated by this company.

    Helping Hands Moving LLC
Dennis and his crew were punctual and did everything as described. They were very considerate and made sure that the expensive furniture was protected well. There was some miscommunication between Dennis and his crew on some of the last items loaded (the first truck left to go to the new place while the 2nd truck finished) that as i reflected later I would have waited until both were loaded to avoid it but only a few bookcases will need to have the paint touched up. The new house location required the trucks be emptied from the road and the team did it without complaint. Overall they get an A because of the hard work required and the job was done on time and without major incident!

    Lords Moving Co.
They were prompt, on time, no hidden fees or extra costs. They contracted us with a simple tract and didn't charge any additional fees, which is unheard of with moving companies. They did what they said they would do and did it for the cost they said they would it would be.

WHITE GLOVE, MOVING, STORAGE & DELIVERY
The movers were very good. The problem was with the storage. Our cartons were crushed even those clearly marked fragile and glass. Pictures frames were shattered, glasses broken, our 42" TV screen was fractured which we didn't realize until days after delivery. Several pieces of furniture were severely scratched. We found evidence of rodent activity in cartons.

We did receive compensation for the broken TV. We would never recommend this company.

On 04/24/14 this company moved my furniture and household goods to two storage 145 miles away. I was unable to be at the storage units at the time the company delivered my goods. On 08/20/14 my things were taken from storage to my home in Hobe Sound. As my things were taken out of storage, if there was damage I took pictures of the damage. I notified Mr. Ridgewill of the damage and his response was one of rage, yelling and total denial of any wrong doing even though he was never at the moving and storage site. He refused to file a claim with his insurance company and his insurance company told me I couldn't file a claim that I would have to get an attorney to do so. I am an 83 year old widow and I do not have the means to hire an attorney so I will have to find a different way to settle this.

Right Choice Moving & Delivery Inc
Moved me to different address in the same town. From the initial contact, to the quote to the move all was done with professional competent and accommodating staff. It is a family business from Angie in the front office to all of my 5 movers who could not have been more careful with each piece of furniture like it was their own and paid close attention to detail the entire time to get everything right. it was obvious they enjoyed working together and I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.
