They got all the records from the emergency room and Rocket once again responded immediately and was out of danger. If you are a dedicated dog owner then you will know that TLC Animal Hospital is different than all other hospitals we have ever been to. From Dr. Dooley and Dr. Travers, to every other doctor and technician that held him and every single one of the ladies at the front desk TLC Animal Hospital is Special in so many ways I can't even list here. Rocket is much better and gives you a big kiss! We give you 5 STARS.

Paperwork was last as we left. No problems. Rocket crashed 2 hours after we got home. Drew called as he rushed him back. This time they insisted he stay for observation and we agreed. Went home for the first night without him. At 6 am they called and my husband finally brought him home. They were so sweet with him. Thank you again! Good to know if you live in Boca you don't have to drive to Coral Springs or Boynton Beach to save your pet's life. Rocket's Grateful Mom & Dad

All went well. Dr. Krane removed skin cells from my female dog, put in stitches, put a cone on her so she wouldn't irritate the healing skin by biting or licking and sent the skin cells off for biopsy. My male dog was looked at. A stool sample was collected from both dogs and sent off for a biopsy. 10 days later, we returned to the office for the stitches to be removed. Their teeth had problems. My female dog had a split tooth so an extraction will take place in the near future. My male dog has chipped teeth and those teeth will be bonded. His stool was back to normal. My female dog needed to wear the cone a week more because the area wasn't quite healed. Her bald spot turned out to be a reaction from her last rabies shot when we were home for the summer in Maryland. Both dogs received their shots so now they were up to date. Both dogs had a pre-op routine examination to prepare them for their upcoming dental surgeries.

Dr. Bull and the staff at Boca North Animal Hospital have been taking care of Charly for the past 6 years and they are wonderful! Charly has been in for emergency treatment (they always make room) and for regular checkups and shots. Dr. Bull even gave me his personal cell so that I could reach him after a particularly scary episode with Charly. I have friends I have referred and they feel the same way. The treatment, prices and people are superior.

Dr. Akbulut printed numerous sheets of instructions from the internet (I could have come home and done this myself) on how to treat dog mites. (www.daily puppy.com/how-to-treat-dog-mites-747.htn
She suggested months of trying different exclusions from Punky's diet and hopefully this would enable us to pinpoint his allergies. When I came home I did some research on dog allergies and discovered that they are difficult to pinpoint. Even after years of trying exclusions you may not find the dogs allergy problems.
The visit was extremely costly and the major problem of dog mites was not addressed properly.
I have since found a vet specialist who correctly treated the dog for mites. Punky does not have allergies.

Both my new pomeranian and mini schnauzer are under Dr Carter's care. In my last visit , Dr Carter gave Cody a thorough exam and took the time to go review his blood results and records from the other vet that the rescue group took him to. He had some concerns about one of the readings in the blood work done a couple of months ago and fully explained everything to me. In addition, the other vet put him on Enalapril for his heart condition and Dr Carter wanted to make sure the drug wasn't impairing his kidney function.  Dr Carter took his time and fully explained everything to me  and patiently answered my questions. He is passionate about the care and welfare of animals. He personally follows up by calling and explains in detail the results and wants to know how the pet is doing. His rates are very reasonable.

Great. The people at TLC truly love animals and it shows in everything they do. Dr Travers and Dr. Dooley are both down to earth people who talk to you not at you. Their concern for the pets well being is obvious. We had been going to another vet who sold his business and we had to find a new vet. I feel now that for our pets sake this was a fortunate chain of events as TLC provides far better care than we were getting from her previous vet.

Dr. Fuentes proved to be a thorough and caring Vet. He clearly explained everything he was doing and why.
The infection required a second treatment but in due course was cleared up.
We wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
One thing though, we waited for quite some time in the waiting room on our first visit. We thought the vet was dealing with an emergency. It turned out that the receptionist failed to inform the Vet that we were there so other people who came in were taken instead of us. The Vet apologized for the foul up.
Thus, if you find you are waiting too long, you should immediately check with the front desk.

Luckily nothing went wrong, despite the fact that my dog wasn't given a blood test before the procedure.  I found later that this should have been done for safety's sake.  He checked blood pressure and said it was high and the dog needed daily medication.  I got a second opinion and had his pressure checked twice, a week apart.  The other vets found no indication of high blood pressure and took him off the prescribed medication.  From here on, I will take my dog to a vet hospital for his dental procedures so they can be performed in a sterile environment.

Their service is always very good. They are always very busy but they get you in and out. Everyone is very professional. Larry Dee is always very knowledgeable as well. The cost is very reasonable and seems to be less than their competitors.
