Irrigation System reviews in Highland Beach

Father and son were both courteous and pleasant.  Quoted a price and began work immediately.  After completion of the job, they turned on all the sprinkler zones so that I could see if I was satisfied with the changes.  A couple of heads that we did not feel were doing the job properly were fixed to our satisfaction.

The only reason they received a "B" in punctuality is because they had said they would arrive at 8:30 a.m. for a quote and they did not arrive until 9:30 a.m.  Which worked out better for us.  They quoted the job, and next day returned to work and finished in one day.

After a quick call to Cindy at Rust Tech, a team came out the next day to test our irrigation well water and provide a no cost consultation for their system set up and services. They found that our well was treatable with their water treatment system. I told the crew that I wished to proceed and they scheduled a system set up. Before leaving, the guys to my surprise and as a courtesy decided to remove all the rust stains from the front of our home and walkways. A few days later another employee came out and set the system up and finished cleaning the remaining rust staining from our home. He was very professional and had the system set up and remaining stains treated in about an hour. We couldn't be more pleased with Rust Techs work. The money we are saving with the irrigation well and Rust Techs services vs. using city water for our lawn is substantial, and no more ugly stains!

If you?re looking for an incompetent irrigation company to work on your sprinklers, look no further, West Boca Irrigation is just the ticket.  They?re representative arrived unexpectedly one afternoon despite having my contact information and I was told he was here to do my ?sprinkler tune-up?.  What tune-up?  I sent them jpg photos of a broken line and valve.  I went over the problem with their workman and he returned from his truck with a quote of $380 to repair the broken line and replace the valve.  A bit exorbitant I thought but they were here and I must have been feeling generous.  While he was off to pick up a part I took a look at the broken line he was in the midst of repairing and noticed that he hadn?t bothered to sand the ends of the pipes which he had cut.  Typically anyone would have sanded the butt ends of the pipe with 80 or 100 grit sandpaper in order to remove the burrs and loose bits of plastic.  Anyone who had taken PVC Pipe Repair 101 or watched a You Tube video would have known to do this.  Needless to say there was also a pile of dirt in the pipe.  Upon completion of his work he turned on the zone in question and he was quite proud of the incredible pressure exhibited by the three heads which were now working.  Only seconds later an old abandoned head which had been capped, had the cap blown off, most likely due to the unexpected pressure.  As he tried to replace the cap while the head was spewing  incredible amounts of water I offered to turn off the zone.  ?No, I do this all the time? he exclaimed.  Minutes later, ?yes, could you turn it off please?.   ?What about  the three heads which had been working perfectly yesterday and which now sat lifeless?, I asked.  ?I did what you asked?, he said. ? I repaired the broken line and replaced the valve now I expect to be paid?.   I then explained to him that the three heads were probably now clogged with dirt and plastic debris from his efforts to repair the PVC pipe.   I even showed him the bits of white plastic stuck in one of the nozzles of one of the heads.   He was convinced I had an ?obstruction? in one of my pipes, possibly the one beneath my sidewalk and additional cost would have to be incurred to investigate and that he was late for his next appointment.   Any responsible tradesman would have removed the clogged heads and flushed the lines after working on the pipe.   Concerned he would do more damage;  I paid ?Chuckles? and spent the next ½ hour flushing the debris from the lines myself.   I may have had a better experience with West Boca Irrigation had another of their employees come to my home, however, judging by the arrogance exhibited by the owner in my conversation with him only minutes after the clown car left,  I think not.

Couldn't be more pleased. When they were done, you couldn't tell anything had been dug up. We've used Clearwater since we moved to Florida two years ago, and we've never had anything but prompt, efficient service.
Great gentlemen, great work, reasonable pricing. What more could you ask for?

To begin with, good, the problem was, the irrigation system was very complex, the reason i gave this guy the job is he was a good sales person, he was young and he was eager so i gave him the chance but it seems he really didn't know what he was doing, basically, it was a waste of time because he didn't know what he was doing, i chose the wrong person in other words

Work was done well.  I failed to discuss costs before they began and later found the labor cost was billed at $80.00 per hour. I would suggest that anyone using their services negotiate a firm price before the work begins.

They installed a new Timer system and a new rain sensor.  Dug up sprinkler heads., added a head, and replaced and adjusted the rest.   Shortly after that , I noticed that the lawn didn't appear to be greening up.  Checked automatic schedule, found what appeared to be loose wires at the top of the zone distributor.    May have been knocked loose by something....called OHara back,  they sent someopne the next day.   Came home and found a brand new locked automatic timer box.   The sprinklers went off the following morning, and I don't believe they have ever worked at well as they do now.  I would highly recommend them for irrigation and sprinkler work.

Not only did they repair the  irrigation timer on clock, but also checked our other sprinkler heads at  my request.

I called them back on May 4th due to a pipe leakage outside our home ,which someone else had installed a few years ago, and they came immediately to repair the pipes. Even though it was an emergency, their fees were very reasonable, and the work impeccable!!

They did a nice job.  They came out and fixed everything.  They checked everything said everything looked okay.  The money I paid them was well worth it.  They finished up on everything that wasn’t done correctly by the first company that I hired and they made it right.  When I spoke to the owner, he told me that they have been in the business for a long time and everyone that worked with him has been there for a long time, so they don’t turnover help all the time, which the previous company did, with a helper that didn’t know what he was doing.

They are a large company and that is why I went with them, but I think they didn’t send anybody with great knowledge out.  They sent a young kid who has worked with them for maybe two years and basically, he is the salesman, and he lines up the customers.  I told him I wanted all my irrigation heads checked out and to tell me what I need for them to look perfect, that I wanted it to hit certain plants in a certain direction, because I didn’t know what was needed, and he said that was not a problem.  When he showed up, he showed up with another guy, he left this guy with me and this guy didn’t speak any English.  I was watching him out of my window and I couldn’t figure out what he was doing.  Originally, this person told me it was going to take two guys, whole day, which I thought was a long time but I said okay.  For some reason, the sales person and left this guy with me, I don’t know what he was doing, he was standing around and he didn’t seem to be doing anything.  Finally, I called them and asked them to come back to the house, and told them that somebody needs to direct him.  The salesman told me he knew what he was doing, I told him that I spoke to him and he was supposed to be handling it, and an hour and a half later, he shows up.  He mentioned to me that he is out doing sales, I don’t know anything about that, all I know Is that I was told I would have two people, all day to fix this irrigation but that never happened.  What I later figured out was he didn’t know anything about irrigation, he is the salesperson, he sets up the job, and he leaves somebody there.  So he misrepresented to me as far as having two people there all day.  Then he tells me I have a discount, because originally, he quoted me $1000 and we negotiated on $600 and I personally didn’t think there was any discount and if it was, he still didn’t say that it was a discount, and that was entitled to one person and not two people.  The whole thing was very lightly done; I don’t think that a professional manager who should have been out here handling this job covered it.  There were three heads that didn’t work and he didn’t know how to fix the clock, the clock was wrong, I called them back on the timer about twenty minutes later and he said he would show up the next day and he never did.  I called another irrigation company and fixed the clock, fixed a couple of heads that weren’t hitting right, and fixed a couple of heads that weren’t working.  About a week later, this guy called me back from O’Hara to say that he was coming out to fix the clock, I told him no thank you, I already took care of it.  I just don’t like the way they handle business.  I think they prefer big jobs and they just tear off the residential jobs to whomever.  I would never use them again.  I don’t think they are organized and no one from the company ever called me to ask me if I was satisfied or did any follow through.
