Excellent! The owner Wanderson cares a lot. He has character. They actually came to the rescue after a well known pool contractor completely screwed up and costs us months of wasted time, money, and stress. You can trust this company.

Christian is a pleasure to work with, and his crew completed the tedious work in explemplary fashion. I received several quotes, but went with the Paver Seal Doctor due his honesty about the cost and willingness to do the work quickly. I recommend Paver Seal Doctor to anyone looking to get Paver work completed!

There were delays in beginning due to it being holiday season, & tile shipment got delayed but Javier Baptista kept us informed. Once they got started, work was completed in a few days! They did a great job & many of my neighbors have already asked for Javier's number!

The job began on March 23, but was not completed until March 30th. The first part of this job was the repair of our driveway and a spot in our walkway where the travertine pavers had sunk. This required the removal of existing pavers, regrading of the surface below, and replacement of the pavers, as well as adding some new concrete retaining. In addition, about 50 pavers that had been cracked  were removed and replaced with new ones. (I had previously purchased these extra pavers, so the pavers were not included in their price.) Some of the new pavers were slightly larger than the original ones, and required a little finesse to fit into the design properly, but the repairs turned out perfectly. The next step was sandblasting our back patio. They arranged for A&B Sandblasting (Achim)  to do the sandblasting and he did a great job, although it is a messy process and there was unavoidably quite a bit of sand in the pool. Achim cleaned up very well, though, making sure to get the sand off the walls, windows, etc. All About Pressure Cleaning also arranged to have someone come to clean some of the sand out of the pool, which was a big help.  Next came the pressure washing and sealing. This is where AAPC really shines. We have a serious moisture issue on our back patio which necessitated some special consideration. Most other companies would simply clean and seal the patio and be done with it. In fact, one of the the last companies we hired used the wrong sealer for this moisture situation, which is one of the reasons for the white haze forming on the pavers in the first place. But thankfully, Gledston is extremely knowledgeable and more concerned that the job be done properly. This required that we use the correct sealer and give the patio more time to dry out before sealing. Due to an emergency with his partner, Gledston was shorthanded and had to rearrange his schedule to accommodate the delay with our job, which he did with great patience.  In this day and age, it is refreshing to find a company that is more concerned with doing the right thing than just getting the job done so they can get the check. We would recommend them highly.

Top notch experience from start to finish. Responsive upon first inquiry, stayed in touch until work was to begin and finished the work when they said they would and at budget. Marsha and Marc were very professional and extremely helpful. Can't wait to use them for our driveway

I contacted several contractors before choosing Discount Pool & Patio for the project. Joe, the owner, came out and was very experienced and knowledgable. The job was done in a timely manner, and the crew was professional and courteous. I was surprised that a job this large went so smoothly. My children and I continue to enjoy our new backyard. I would highly recommend Discount Pool & Patio.

They first took the old pavers from the backyard and made a new walkway on one side of the house. We liked it so much that we had an existing walkway re-done to match the new one. The work they do was so good that we wish we had more places to do more work. It was just that beautiful and matched the front driveway perfectly. They also made the driveway wider to accommodate my large truck by adding another set of pavers to each side and make the turn easier. Again, you would never know that the original driveway and the added part weren't done at the same time. After all that, they totally re-did the whole backyard with travertine and even did the steps down to the dock. Trying to get the edging done to work around the existing fence was not easy and it came out perfect. They are due to seal the travertine next week and we can't wait to see an even nicer backyard then we have now. I would use Terra Tiles and Pavers again, but I'm out of room to do anymore work. But if I move, or if a friend has work to do, we will make sure they have Terra's name for a great job. I almost forgot, they also took some of our old pavers and made a perfect front deck area for my neighbor across the street, and he love's it..All in all, a great job all the way around..Thank you guys..

I met with Jim Nolan in June 2013 to get a quote to replace my wooden 2-3 high retaining wall that was buckling in my back yard. I accepted his quote and his permit runner Jossy came to my house within a few days with the permit app and they del'd the materials the same day. Within a short period of time  they started tearing down the old wall and installing the new one. They starting capping it after putting up three courses and I had to call Jim and tell him of the error so they had to have more materials delivered for the fourth course and more caps as they had to pull off several that were already adhered to the wall. He blamed it on a new supervisor. They did not schedule the inspection after the footer was completed but rather waited until the wall was completed and when Palm Beach County came for the inspection on Sept 23rd 2013 a final correction notice was on my front door " No footer inspection was scheduled. Engineer to certify footer and gravel drainage bed. There are no drawings of how the work was to be done; unproductive trip/pay fee" . Jim scheduled a second inspection and said he would meet the inspector at my house and he did not show and I rec'd another correction notice " Work is complete without inspections, please provide engineer's letter certifying footing and drainage meet all 2010 Florida bldg code requirements, wasted trip/pay fee?. I called him and he said he couldn't make it to the inspection because he had one in the morning at another job and the inspector was running late. He told me he was going in the Palm Beach County Building Inspection office and meet with the inspector and give him the drawings and get the permit closed. It is now July 2014 and my permit (B-2013-014601) is still not closed after about 20 emails and 20 telephone calls to him.  I am at the point where I am going to ask him to refund my money and take the wall down and take his materials and get another contractor who understands the permit process.

The travertine pavers around our pool's perimeter were "popping up," due to the land settling around the pool. This caused our back patio to look unsightly.  We sought help to lift the pavers, fill the area beneath with new material and re-set the pavers.

I obtained four estimates - two from traditional "pool" companies (one of which was found on Angie's List; the other from the gentleman who cleans our pool), one from a general contractor recommended by a friend and the last from Terra (found on Angie's List). Terra and one of the pool companies had similar estimates, the other pool company came in at more than twice their quotes and the general contractor bid at more than seven times the lowest bid!

I contacted Terra - Jeanette picked up right away and captured all of the pertinent info (address, contact info, issue, etc.) and scheduled Javier, the owner, to conduct the estimate the following Monday. She was extremely courteous and professional. Her professionalism is not exactly common when dealing with administrators. With other companies, I have had a range of people not returning my voicemail to stating, "I don't have time to put this in a proposal - here are a bunch of prices. When can I schedule the work?" It was such a relief to interact with someone like Jeanette. I requested that Javier himself conduct the estimate, given his engineering background.

Javier showed up for the estimate right on time. He measured the area, answered my questions and explained some of the issues that our town has experienced in the past with the ground settling around pools. He didn't rush through this process as other contractors have done. He was also very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We have had to interact with many contractors and such for a variety of house projects these past few months, and Javier was one of the few people who I felt immediately at ease with and who I trusted. Sometimes you have a "gut" feeling.

Javier not only emailed me a detailed proposal that evening - he proactively also sent copies of his license, proof of liability insurance and offered to provide references. Who does that?? This absolutely floored me (in a good way). Not one company I've dealt with on house projects was as organized or proactive as Terra has been. My bar was set so low from prior interactions with other companies (from people providing a proposal a month after conducting the estimate to not being truthful about their licensing; certainly, no one else proactively provided copies of their license or references).

I contacted all three of Javier's provided references - all of whom provided glowing reports. One had work completed three weeks prior. The other two were so impressed with Terra that Javier's company is now performing work for their relatives and communities. All offered for me to drive by their homes to check out the work Terra performed.

Jeanette tentatively scheduled the work (due to other on-going projects) and said she would follow up with me when she had a firmer date, so I could make arrangements for my dog to not be around. She followed up with me on that Friday, as promised, to finalize the project start date. On the project start date, Jeanette contacted me to let me know that the crew would have to start a few hours later than planned (12:30p).

I arrived home after work that night to find a beautifully fixed back patio. Our unsightly pool perimeter looked fantastic. I was initially very concerned about heavy wheelbarrows of sand causing deep grooves in our grass and a big mess on our patio furniture with white cushions. The crew left zero damage and zero mess!

My husband and I performed a walk-through and found a couple of pavers that we asked to replace. Javier himself performed a final inspection and also replaced four or five broken pavers and dropped off 10 for us to keep.

Both Javier and Jeanette were incredibly responsive throughout the process - again, this seems to be a rarity amongst Florida contractors. Javier always called me or texted me back to any questions I had, as did Jeanette.

The price Terra quoted was absolutely fair and in line with one of the pool company's estimates. The ironic thing was that we were going to select one of the pool companies mentioned above (this was before I even found Terra on Angie's List), but their administrator was so unresponsive that I conducted extra research to find another company, which led me to Terra (it took days for this other pool company to get back to me; she was also the one I mentioned above who said she was "too busy" to provide me a proposal and then sent a bunch of prices - with no details).  Companies don't seem to realize that the person answering the phone, scheduling and writing the proposal can make or break a deal as much as the contractor can. Thank god I found Terra.

My husband and I absolutely loved Terra Tiles & Pavers. I was so disillusioned with the process of researching and interacting with contractors on a variety of house projects that Terra was a breath of fresh air. The company is responsive, professional, fair with its quote, thoughtful (they dropped off extra pavers for future use!), organized and simply - AMAZING. We're now considering re-doing our driveway and will absolutely contact only Terra to conduct that work.  I can't recommend Terra enough.

Thank you Terra, Javier and Jeanette for your help in making our pool/patio area look great again!  You all were wonderful to work with, and we're actually excited about the prospect of fixing our driveway!
