    Car Guys Collision Repair
Referred to Car Guys by Insurance Company. They were very professional and kept me informed by e-mail and phone of the progress of the repair. They did a great job and delivered when promised. Would use them again and would suggest to others.

    Register Chevrolet & RV Center
We purchased a new car and traded in 2 vehicles.
Salesman, Financing, staff is extremely professional and honest.
This is like my 4 or 5 auto I have purchased from them, and never had an issue with the staff.
One I had an issue with the service rep, and it was straightened out immediately by the actual finance person whom always takes care of my funding.
Register personal sells you what you want, and puts no pressure to buy things you don't need.
    I recommend them.

Service went great. In and out in about 20 minutes. Prompt, courteous, and explained differences in types of oil. As I already knew, I needed the more expensive synthetic oil in the VW Passat, so no surprises there. (The dealership charges over $80 for this same service) The complimentary inspection showed everything was okay (including the AC and battery, both of which my dealership said needed to be replaced over a year earlier.)
I will continue to do repeat business with this auto shop.

Work was done to satisfaction, and cost seems reasonable.  I believe this mechanic is one of the more honest ones and someone I can depend on for a true answer to my question.  The owner's wife even took me back home and picked me up when they were done, which they normally do within a 5 mile radius.
A regular grease monkey shop, but I will return and recommend this mechanic.

Although work done at the dealerships is more expensive than non-dealer repair shops, I have tried to use them once in a while, thinking I'd get good Volkswagen specific knowledge and work.  But this dealer service shop has tried to bully me into paying more than a thousand dollars for additional unnecessary work and repairs, by telling me other things needed immediate attention with dire consequences if not taken care of immediately.
My AC compressor has had a slow leak for some time.  The service technician told me the AC compressor leak cannot be fixed, and I needed to be replace the entire compressor, costing over $800.  He said they could do it that day, and I really needed to get it done, since  It could go out any time now, and I'd surely not want to be without air conditioning with the start of summer (in Florida).
He also said I needed a new battery, which would cost another $200.  He told me the one I have is no longer any good and I should replace it immediately.  They will be able to do it and the AC compressor today.  It's very important to get this done right away, because he would not want me to be stranded when the battery goes out.  If I were his mother, he'd not let her go without replacing the battery immediately.  I ran into this same battery scenario the last time I dealt with another VW dealership in Tampa.  The exact same concerns about if I were their mother, they would not let me drive with this bad battery!  I find this a very intimidating tactic used especially on women.  I told him that another dealership in Tampa had installed the current battery less than four years ago, and it's supposed to be a five or six year battery.  I asked him what lifetime it showed on the battery and he said that the bracket was covering over that part and he couldn't read it.  When I asked him to pull off the bracket and take a look he just brushed it off, as that didn''t make any difference.  I explained that I'd want them to give me credit on the unused life of the current battery, towards the new one.  He didn't know how that could be done.
As of this date, more than 28 months later, I have not had either the AC compressor or the battery replaced, and both are working just fine.  I had the battery tested a month ago at Batteries Plus and was told it held a very good charge.  Another summer is almost over and the AC in my car has stayed quite cool.  I also have not visited this or any other VW dealership in those 28 months.

They gave me an estimate by phone on a Thursday morning.  I decided to forego the work on the windows (additional $600) and while i thought it was perhaps a little high gave the go ahead for the work based on the good reviews from Angies List.  The work was completed promptly and I picked up the vehicle the following morning.  In fairness about the price, my brakes were in extremely poor condition which without doubt required them to do extra work in removing and replacing them.  I was a little surprised at the brand of tires put on the vehicle as I had never heard of them before (Fuzion) but they assured me they are a good tire made by Bridgestone.  Again, entirely y fault for not looking at and selecting a tire to include in the estimate.  I'm sure their objective was to give me the b

The guy was rather nasty. The work did last a couple of years. The car is old, it does have a couple thousand miles on it. His work did get the car up and running again but it only lasted on a couple of years.

they were supposed to rebuild my transmission and they did so but they also broke my starter and cracked my engine block and then denied doing so they ultimately cost me over 14,000$ to fix their botched job i would not recommend anyone to do business with them they lied to me and tried to cover it up they also had my truck for over a month and the transmission only lasted 3 weeks or 1,6 50 miles then it blew up again so please don't bring your vehicle to these people When they were done a month and a half later they said they road tested my truck but when i came to pick it up the batteries were dead and the starter just grinded on the flywheel and would not start so they loaded my truck on a flat bed and dumped it off at another auto repair place without my permission so please steer clear of this place unless you want to be ripped off

The price for the auto body work was covered by insurance. The work is holding up very well. There was nothing really that stood out to me about them. They did a good job and it was done on time. There was nothing over the top. I always had a good experience with them. They were very prompt and courteous. I would use their services in the future too.

The boss was arrogant and was giving me a hard time. He could tell me that he was being funny about and a little obnoxious, but otherwise i they did what that had to do. I don?t remember anything specifically anything negative or positive about the job and is routine work done routinely. I remember one time the counter manager told me that I did not need something because he was in a rush. The manager was kind enough to tell me that I needed something tuned up which I remember.
