    After getting several quotes, we chose Dave's Fence to install a white vinyl privacy fence for our home, after they installed a black chain link fence for our business. Randy was our sales rep for both jobs, and he was excellent and very helpful. We also worked with Darlene via e-mail, and she was Awesome, as well, helping us get some requests taken care of post install. Considering the strong quality of the white vinyl fence Dave's uses, there's really only one company near or around Central Florida that is a direct competitor for them, but I'm glad we chose Dave's fence over their competitor, as their customer service has been top notch from start to post-installation, and the cost savings has been great, as well. When interviewing vinyl fence companies and getting quotes in a hurricane-prone state like Florida, be sure to look for a company that will install the vinyl fence, properly permitted, and who uses strong or "commercial" vinyl fence with top and bottom rails that are at least 6-7" wide, and posts that are 5"x5" with 1.5'-2' in the ground, and set in cement. Also be sure to ask for the posts to be no more than 6' apart (important! even if it costs more), and always ask for u-channels on BOTH sides of each panel/section/post (this will help prevent gaps forming better than just nails and screws), and ask for the fence to be straight on top, rather than contour to the ground (which can look bad, since the top of the fence won't be level and straight). If you have kids or a large dog, you can also ask about having two latches on each gate, to help prevent a kid or animal from pushing or pulling the gate door on the bottom and squeezing through. Dave's Fence installed our fence and did a great job being careful around the multitude of plants in my yard. I asked the team leader, James, to let me know if any plants would be in the way of our new fence line, and sure enough, he contacted me during install, and offered to dig a plant up, so it would'n't be damaged. Post installation, Daves Fence promptly scheduled another team to fix any concerns or special requests I had, such as closing the gaps near our gate hinges (even their competitor has these gaps), and changing the swing of a gate. Mind you, they might not be able to come back the same or even the following week, but they will schedule call-back appointments ASAP for their next available slot. Speaking of gates, their standard self-latching gate hardware allows their gates to be locked on either side with a common padlock, and they offer free, lifetime gate adjustments. Also, at the time of my purchase, their gate cost was the same no matter if a small, 2' wide gate is desired, or if a larger gate is desired, like the 5 or 6' wide gate style that we chose that's big enough for a riding lawn mower to pass through. Aside from white, they also offer different colors of vinyl, but the colors are more expensive. The only thing their competitor had that Dave's did not, was a wider variety of post cap designs that are all the same cost. Daves had only the most popular choices, and some were a little bit more expensive than others, but not by much. Overall, Daves did a great job, and what I like most about their company is their commitment to do whatever it takes to make sure their customers are completely satisfied both before installation, and even after the fence is already installed and paid for. It's not that easy to find companies like this these days. We definitely recommend Dave's Fence for both vinyl fences, and black chain link fences.

    Alex did a great job with our pool. We are very pleased. He was quick to get me an estimate and was able to answer any questions I had. I did a lot of shopping for this job and found his prices to be very competitive. Once I decided to have the job done he had it installed the very next day and it came out perfect.

    Good news is start date was timely and workmanship was quite good. They did finally come back to correct a nailing error on part of the fence after multiple requests. Bad news includes: Poor cleanup with trimmed branches and concrete chunks and old post left behind. (They came to get the post after numerous requests over 3 weeks.) Never came to get concrete pieces or branches. (I had to dispose of them myself) Excessive trampling of plants and bushes while installing requiring significant cleanup of broken plants and bushes. Promised to come back to apply sealer and refused to reply to more than a dozen emails and at least a dozen phone messages. Also would not respond to request to adjust gate that has sagged a bit and is sticking. I am trying to get it done myself now. I am assuming that they went out of business due to their total lack of response. I had to do all of the follow-up work myself while recovering from a broken neck! I would never recommend them to anyone!

    There is about a 6 week lead time from when you call to when they install, which will likely be much longer after Irma. Quality work, quality fence, which "stood up" to Irma! Dave's is not the cheapest, but has a great reputation which was earned based on my experience.

    Overall at the end of the day every thing turned alright.
    But on the day of Install, I did not see anybody show up by 10 AM, I called their office & the Company Representative inquiring about what is going on.
    No return call from the Company Representative who came home & gave the estimate.
    The lady at the office did not have a clue where the installer was & did not know why he has not showed up at the site.
    I waited for another hour or so & hoping some body would know more by now, I called the office and a gentleman said he is trying to get hold of the installer.
    I  gave up & started making other plans for the day, at 3 PM Installer showed up & along with his helper completed the install till 7 PM. A month or so the Fence looks good, hope it passes the Test of time.
    The installation day started full of chaos with nobody knowing where the installer was & if the Fence was going to be done that day ended just fine with the Fence installed.
    Another bid for the Fence was lower, but wanted half the money upfront. Dave's Fence was paid the day after the installation.

    The sales rep (Barry) drafted up a contract for a fence that could not be honored. He came to the house; stating the two trees in the backyard could be boxed out, and it would still adhere to the property line. This was discussed at length, and he reassured that this was doable and would not surpass the property line. He recommended we do some trimming of the trees; specified branches, and the removal of a bush. We honored all of this prior to the fence installation. The fence was scheduled to be installed on Tuesday, and we received a call late Monday afternoon stating there was a defect with the fence and the needed to reschedule. It was rescheduled for Friday. At this point two days of work were missed. The installers showed up around 10am on Friday and stated they would treat down the old fence on Friday and put up the new fence on Saturday. We were told it would all be completed in one day. Frustrating! Then the installers stated they could not box the trees put due to the property line. Another day wasted and nothing completed since there were back and forth conversations on how the fence would be installed since the fence could not be boxed on the outside of the trees due to the property line. Again, this was our salespersons fault (Barry). He was provided the plans to the house, and there were flags in the yard showing the property line. We ended up boxing one tree out, and had the fence going through the tree in the middle of the yard. The installers showed up on Monday (arrived around 9), and finished Tuesday (arrived around 10). They did not notify of their arrival on Monday and started tearing down the fence. They left a mess in the front and back of the yard both days. We had a lot to clean up (old fence, pieces of new fence, trash) after they left. Also, they cut the cable wire and we were without cable and Internet for 3 days. We had to pay to get the cable fixed since it was the installers error. The fence is decent, but I would never use them or recommend them to anyone!!!

    They did an excellent job!  I worked with Terry through several months of contact as we needed to get HOA approval for the 8' allowance.  Terry visited the property several times to go over our request and was able to transition the overall 6' height to the 8' section we requested on the rear fence line. The transition was very well done and we are very pleased and satisfied with the result.  Seminole Fence slanted the 6' up to the 8' height. The crew was very professional and careful with their work and had to move one or two sprinklers that were on the fence line, which they did at no cost to me.  The entire installation took approx. one and a half days and they obtained the necessary permit, hauled away the old fence and called in to set up the inspection.  I anticipate the inspection going very well.  A major factor that influenced my decision to go with Seminole Fence was that they did not require that I trim or remove any existing plantings which other fence companies advise me WOULD be required when they provided their price estimate.  I did tie back and trim some plants and took the opportunity to remove some existing decaying trees that I was planning on removing anyway, but I did not have to do this in order for Seminole Fence to take on my project.  Their price was very competetive and my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the results.  We will definitely recommend Seminole Fence to anyone considering fence work on their property.

    Chris was very responsive and was out to the house to give an estimate the day after we closed.  He came out to do the install 3 days later and was done very quickly.  Fence looks great and we can't wait to be able to use our new patio and not have to worry about our 2 yr old daughter falling in.

    He was recommended by a family friend and we will also be recommending his services to others.

    They came out and gave me an estimate, and were very knowledgeable about all the permits and requirments I would need from the city and were able to take care of all that stuff, so about a month later scheduled the work. They started about 9am, and were finished about 2pm... They must have called the phone company to identify my buried phone line, because I noticed it was spray painted on the ground, in order to avoid cutting it. They were very professional, removed my old fence first, and put up the new posts and then attached the fence and added the gates. They even had to work around a tree that had grown up on my fence line, and did it perfectly. I had two gates installed, one on each end of the yard. They reinforced them and used heavy duty hardware.(hinges and locks)  I am so impressed.. this is great, I am very happy with the work preformed, and would recommend them to anyone.

    My initial contact was great.  The company representative was very responsive.  I performed a measurement myself.  A sales rep came out on the agreed upon date and time and confirmed my measurements.  He informed me that they would have to order the materials and have a welder make a gate for me.  I had no problem with this.  Installation day came.  They brought all of the materials.  The materials looked good for the most part but some of the parts were definitely not new e.g. scratches, small dents, not a big deal for me.  They installed the initial posts.  I noticed straight away the gate was in the wrong position in which I informed the installer.  He corrected this, no problem.  They came in the afternoon and as the install continued they had to run out and retrieve additional parts.  They finally finished up just before dusk.  I glanced out the back window and things looked ok and they left.  
    The next day I noticed that one of the sections had a 5 inch gap underneath.  I did not notice this the day before since it was getting dark.  I called and left a message for the sales rep as well as sending an email.  The fix would require shortening one of the posts.  A few days went by with no reply.  I was a bit surprised since the sales rep was usually very responsive.  After another day or two I called again this time waiting on the phone until the sales rep came online.  He seemed very aggravated with my call scolding me for not telling the installers prior to leaving.  I told him about not noticing the issue until the next day.  He told me he was going to talk to his installers and call me back.  It's been a month and I have not received a call.  I ended up fixing the problem myself.  
    With this experience I would not recommend this company.  If you are a perfectionist e.g. you want everything perfectly straight, defect free materials, and attention to detail, I would probably look elsewhere.
