AFATHER & SON PLUMBING SERVICES INCWe had a shower pan leaking and decided to go to the studs on all wall and get a completely new bathroom. Pete and his crew and their sub-contractors were excellent. We have everything replaced, shower, toilet, sink plus new walls & floors plus medicine cabinet, all were installed with little effort and in as short as possible time where only the city permit process held us back. Have used them in the past for water heater and leaking valves and have the highest regard for their work.- Bill T.

AOCEAN HOME REMODELExcellent. Kobi helped me pick the products, explained the process, filed the permits and was always available for questions. The price was very fair and the quality of work was fantastic. The workers were on time every day and they were organized and clean. I cannot say enough about this company. I will use them again for a kitchen remodel soon, and have already given recommendations to friends. Once the permits were approved, the entire project took 2 weeks, which included inspections. After comparing 4 companies, we selected New Living Construction because of the positive reviews given by other satisfied customers and the fair estimate we were quoted. Contractor Dmitriy Dain is conscientious in the oversight of his talented team of craftsmen. They take pride in their work and the quality of the upgrades was better than we could have imagined, stylish, and functional. The crew cleaned up each day and helped us arrange things so that we were able to stay in our unit throughout construction. Dmitriy was always accessible and timelines were met with no significant surprises in additional costs. It was a very positive experience and we highly recommend New Living Construction.- Denise B.

FH2O Home Maintenance LLCIt did not go well. They did not finish the job, they just put tile around the bathtub and shower. They left all the areas open with the grout. The entire job is not complete. They got paid 6000.00 and have not return to do the work. They also did not clean up after themselves. I would not recommend this company.- Alan M.

- The Company, RAPID CONSTRUCTION did NOTHING!! There was an AD in the Angie's List October 2015 - Miami - North Edition Magazine, page A55. The ad stated that RAPID CONSTRUCTION was offering "Handyman for the Day". Only $199.- for Angie's List Members. Full Value of $420.- ... for 7 hours.
- I called RAPID CONSTRUCTION, Phone #: 954-228-2300, and spoke several times beginning on 10/7/15, to Karen, then to Louis, who said he was "in charge". Then Angie's List Account Manager, Corey, spoke with Clarianne at RAPID CONSTRUCTION in another escalated attempt to resolve the "bait and switch" ad. RAPID CONSTRUCTION staff and OWNER all stated that the ad was wrong and RAPID CONSTRUCTION would NOT honor the WRITTEN AD!!! They then tried to "UP SELL" me to a more expensive cost. I called Angie's List and their staff tried to help and mediate unsuccessfully over several weeks with RAPID CONSTRUCTION's Owner, MOHAMED, who REFUSED to honor the printed ad. Do NOT trust this Company because they do NOT honor their ads: it's all a misrepresentation and "bait and switch" tactic to get customers then "upsell" the customer to a more expensive service and costs.

ASuperior Woodwork IncThis is the second time I'm using Superior Woodwork. Several years before they'd done a kitchen remodel for me and now they'd recently finished a huge installation of custom-made cabinets for a multi-purpose room. Winston, the owner, worked with me on designing a quilting set-up, including the sewing machine cabinet with the machine disappearing in the cabinet. He designed and installed multiple task-specific cabinets for storing fabric.
He designed, manufactured, and installed office part of the room and a Murphy's Bed. He communicated clearly, called back when I asked, answered e-mails, suggested appropriate materials.
I would gladly use him again in the future. WInston is a super guy!

AJohn Johnson Electric IncI'm remodeling a Kitchen. It has taken 14 months and is still not completed. I'm waiting for the contracted electrician, he can't come until January 5th 2015. I wanted to get my oven so some food could be cooked before Christmas.
Found through Angie´s list an electrician with good reputation.
Called John at 6.15 PM and asked him if he could help me the next day. He came to us after one hour.
A nice man with a good behavior and very professional.

DJ&G Carpentry IncWorked very sporadic. Suddenly a stop, without notification. The stop could be for a few weeks. The soffit came out all crooked. Needed to add 0.5 inch of filler to straighten out the worst. Since they used so much filler it cracked. Finally they got the cracks filled up. But for how long. This took them several days to have it corrected, instead of doing it right the first time, but that would take a professional carpenter. Now, 5 months after they received OUR payment in full, the job is NOT COMPLETED.- LENNART R.
