  • I was looking for a handyman that was licensed and bonded, had a good BBB rating, and solid Angie’s List reviews. ATi Services seemed to fit the bill, so I sent a note detailing my repair and improvement needs. Jack was highly professional, extremely responsive, and conscientious. He responded to my initial query the next day, and after talking with him a bit on the phone, I didn’t hesitate to hire him. My instincts were spot-on. I had about 10 smaller repairs on my list and about 7 larger improvements/repairs that I wanted Jack to assess. His goal is to personalize his recommendations based on the homeowner’s situation (i.e., improvements needed to sell, rent, or live long-term). He is definitely not out just to make a buck from his clients. In fact, of the 7 larger improvements/repairs he assessed for me, only one did he recommend that he do. (For two of them, he referred me to other reputable companies that specialize in the work, such as windows, HVAC, etc., rather than him simply charging me to be the middle-man.) The other 4 things he said were either not needed at all or he wouldn’t recommend investing my money given my plan to rent and then sell in the next year. Aside from that, he arranged for Ryan to handle my list of smaller repairs. Ryan was prompt and extremely polite. When he uncovered other small issues after fixing items on my punch list, he proactively addressed those issues too. He was there about 5 hours and was very thorough. I couldn’t have been more pleased with how this first experience with ATi went. I will definitely be using them as my go-to handyman/improvement company hereafter.

  • IHK Services installed 7 mini-split AC units, performed electrical work and installed a state-of-the-art alarm and security camera system. As a NYC Architect and, having taught Home Inspection Courses for twelve years, I know a Class A contractor when I see one. IHK Services performed all work in a top notch fashion, responded to all inquiries timely, showed up when they said they would and stayed on budget. I do not hesitate to give them my utmost professional recommendation.Jeremy & Mark and their crew did an outstanding job!

  • The alarm was fine. I had very little issue over the years. I used to recommend this company. But this is a caution regarding watching the back end of the monitoring contract. Maybe these companies all do this the same but that doesn't make this any more ethical. 
    I called Dynamark to cancel the contract when i was moving and I was informed that there was a $99 "early cancellation fee". So i said 'oh that's not possible. It's not early. You've been monitoring this alarm for 8 years and i haven't signed anything since it was installed."  " Oh...it automatically renews if you don't tell us otherwise. The only way to avoid it is to get the new owner to take over the contract."  So apparently the best way they've found to get continued business is to blackmail their clients rather then to trust their goodwill and reputation.  With this setup unless you cancel well ahead of your move date on the contract renewal date, i'm not sure how one would avoid this $99 fee in any scenario.  I suppose if you knew you were moving in August and your renewal was in January and you were organized enough to keep track of that you could cancel in January, 8 months before your move. I don't know. I am constrained by the bounds of logical thinking so utter lunacy sometimes eludes me. 
    Annnnd....they weren't satisfied with $99 either. Two mos. later I received a monitoring bill from them and when i called figuring it was a simple error, i was informed that because I didn't send them their email back confirming my cancellation which i'd done by phone they'd continued to bill me for an alarm that sits in a house which i no longer owned for two more months so now I owe them another $90. The absurdity is actually laughable when you think about the complete absence of common sense here -  a charge for services that were verbally cancelled and truly acknowledged to have been cancelled because we argued over the cancellation fee for the contract that can't logically BE cancelled. 
    Aside from the questionable legalities of this,  is the fact that they don't take their customer relationships very seriously, another reason you'll want to consider doing business here. So over 8 years i paid over $4,000 in monitoring fees but my feeling is that wasn't enough and they need to squeeeeze whatever they could out of me. At this point I've paid nothing and I'm actually having the matter reviewed because while I know shysters like this count on people not wanting to go to the time or expense over $200, I really feel that someone has to step up and start hitting back at this type of unfair business practice. I, ironically, avoid the likes of ADT because i wanted a company that is more local and then this happens. 
    So keep track of your contract if they install your alarm and monitor it. Because the back end is costly. When you're assessing system costs, I suggest you add that $99 to it unless you are a very organized person.

  • Excellent company to work with! This is the 2nd time I have used them for 2 different houses where they did a fantastic job both times! They came out quickly, installed quickly and Charlie explains the system in detail and makes sure you understand how it works before he leaves the job. Great work AGAIN Masada!! Thank you!!!

  • Most of the reps are patient and knowledgeable. Mostly prompt, concerned attention.  
    One  problem was the motion detector industrial tape sent out didn't stick well. So they sent a different kind, but we decided to screw them on. Also,I received different information regarding a couple of concerns, but kept asking until I got two people to say the same thing.   I am kind ofuse to this across all industries now, seems training of reps needs more attention.
    For example:  We have a 40 lb.. dog, which set off the motion detector,  and we were told there was nothing that could be done.  The next rep suggested relocating the height and now it works fine.  This is a typical problem that all the reps should be able to handle.
     Another time the rep sent out the "new" industrial tape and it was the same stuff I had, so I had to call agin for the new and improved industrial tape.  
    I did realize what setting up my system entailed as far as what I had to do with the home office.  I talked with a few folks regarding questions I had about the system, but one of the times the rep noticed I wasn't really set up to go and walked me through the final process, which the others were either clueless or lazy.
    I wasn't aware that we would be charged if the police show up to check on an alarm.
    Alo, it is * extra if you want a system to go to your iPhone and not be turned off if it is disabled within a certain amount of time by a burgler.  I think have to be aware of the different packages as they compare costs.

  • The Citrus county service was never cancelled as requested and continues to be billed. Devcon insists that we must pay for the remainder of the Citrus county contract period even though we installed a new Devcon system in Gulfport.

  • Have had FrontPoint system for about a year now and couldn't be more pleased with it. Don't know about today's choices, but I spent a LOT of time researching security options a year ago, and this was clearly a no-brainer at the time. I liked the monitoring company they use (VERY important in choosing a security system) , and especially liked the fact that I was able to pick & choose from a large variety of latest technology  equipment so I could customize my own system. And with the exception of outdoor all-weather cameras, which have to be hard-wired, the indoor wireless installation is every bit as easy as they say - can be done by most anyone. And best of all, all of this at a fraction of the cost of most other comparable companies without strangers coming into your house and charging you hundreds of dollars installation fees! I also like that you own your own equipment and can continually update and augment your system as easily as ordering a new device over the phone or online. And the piece of mind that comes from being able to remotely control your home's security system and home automated environment is truly priceless.

  • From the very beginning, Art (the sales representative) went out of his way to answer my questions and provide me with the information that I needed. He came to my house, and we had a long discussion about my options. He even offered to come back again to speak with my wife, who was not home at the time, to answer any questions that she might have. (This was in stark contrast to the other big alarm company who gave me zero personal contact and misled me about the differences between their system and the Brinks/Broadview system.) The installation went very smoothly, and the installer even helped me run some antenna wire through the crawlspace while he was here. He didn't need to do that, but it was a HUGE help to me. The day after the installation, Art called to check in to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. The next week, I called the Brinks/Broadview customer service line with some questions, and they were even friendly and helpful. Overall, I am very pleased with how professional they have been.
