Fence Company reviews in Gulf Breeze

White Sands Decks & More LLC
Check was cashed in May of 2018 for work that was to be done in June. Work has not been done and refund has been ignored after multiple requests to the company. The company has set multiple deadlines and completion dates then never shows up or follows up. They now have multiple BBB complaints and the company name is now zen outdoor concepts not white sands.

    Barberi Fence Company
I called a few contractors for a price on an backyard fence. I have a rather large lot. Of the estimates I received, Rick Barberi had the best price by a few hundred dollars. We discussed the options available to me per the association and I decided on a board on board pressure treated shadowbox fence. As I was getting a pool, I needed him to wait until the pool was about done so the fence wouldn't be damaged. He knew it would be about 1 1/2 months but he made several visits to assess the progress of the pool and reassure me that he would be there when needed. When the time came for the fence he was able to start within a couple of days. We had discussed the layout, gates and sprinkler locations. Rick did everything asked of him in a very timely manner and there was no damage to any of the existing infrastructure. Rick took great care to make sure this was the case. I also, at the last minute, made a couple of changes, including and additional gate and Rick quickly adapted, making the changes without issue and at a minimal and reasonable price. The project came in on time and at the price point. Rick is professional, fair, personable, polite and very good at his craft. I highly recommend him and have let people in my subdivision know of his good work. Others who had previously contracted with Rick, also gave me positive feedback.

    Coast to Coast Fence Company
Josh and his crew was able start the install two days earlier than scheduled. Took them 1-1/2 days to complete the work. The installation looks great and I am extremely pleased with the work. I strongly recommend Coas to Coast to anyone who needs a fence installation.

    Paradise Fence & Decks
They were excellent. Steve went above and beyond. He exceeded my expectations and was very reliable, knowledgeable and seemed to care a lot about providing an excellent result. Our project was quite complicated and he was very helpful in navigating that and providing great guidance. He knows his stuff!!! There are often delays with contractors but there were none with Paradise. They came when promised. I also compared pricing with other vendors and Paradise was the most reasonable.

    LALS Concrete
This company came out right away for the estimate. I went ahead and hired them based on their initial quote. They scheduled to begin the job on 23 Jan 17, but didn't start until 25 Jan 17 (rain delay). When they would show up they would only work for a few hours and then leave. During entire construction process, the communication was very poor (Permit Delay). Additionally the fence guys they hired asked to borrow my tools and asked for water as well. If you hire a company, they should have all the tools required to accomplish the job, or not quote a job and say they can do the job. When I brought that to the owners attention they said that it was not the way they do business and that those fence guys don't work for them anymore. (Fence delay had to rebuild the double gate). There were several other issues that came up throughout the project and I had to constantly call or text them to try to get answers to the issues instead of them proactively contacting me. Which shows that this company had some communication problems with the homeowner during the construction process. The entire process took over a month when originally they quoted 3 days with additional few days for the fence. Additionally, I followed up on the permit after they project was completed and they never scheduled for the final inspection through the county. So I had to coordinate with the county for the final inspection. Which I am glad that it passed inspection because I am not sure what I could have done since they had already been paid. Even though it seemed like it took forever, and there were several issues, at the end of the day they did complete the work and did take off some money from the price to help make up for all the issues. So I feel they did what they could to try and make it right. The Driveway and RV pad looks really nice, but I had to spend a couple of days and $50 in materials to fix the fence. I am glad the project is finally over and I hope that LALS will take my recommendations for the future projects that they do. Overall, I am now happy with how everything looks at my house. I have attached pics of before, during the construction, some of the issues that came up, and the final product.

    Fence It LLC
It's scary how contractors can ignore you once you sign a contract. I hooked up with Chris in November; fence work was done in April. This was after repeated phone calls. The work was good and completed quickly. Can't fault the quality. Now I need a gate replaced, which he was aware of and promised to come back to do the work. Three phone calls and several weeks since I started calling him but still no response. I'm giving up and going to find another company to replace the gate.

    Sandbox Boyz LLC
Chris responded quickly to our request, made a landscape drawing, was open to suggestions and changes during the project, and demonstrated a good creative 'eye' to asthetics. Workmen showed up when expected, were very knowledgeable about their differing areas of expertise ( e.g., fencing, plant knowledge, sprinkler operations) and had a quick meeting on-site to discuss which aspect of the work would occur in what order. A very professional & friendly group which worked well together.

    Paradise Fence & Decks
We contacted Paradise Fence through Angie's List a few weeks ago. The response was quick. We received an email and then we called to schedule an estimate to replace a section of chain link fence. They came out within a few days to measure and provide an estimate. So far so good. We were told that they didn't have any dates available for installation for about two to three weeks out. We live in another state and had to drive three hours for the work to be done. We called a few days later to confirm the date as instructed and left a message. We never heard back. As the date approached for the install we called two more times to confirm and again left messages. Still no response. At 8:30 pm on the night before the date we thought the fence would be installed, we received an email stating that they couldn't do the work because of an out of state family emergency. We didn't even merit a phone call. I understand family emergencies but I don't understand the lack of communication.  They might do good work but the amount of frustration you might experience  is not worth the hassle. Wouldn't use this company now.

    Fence It LLC
The finished fence is of very good quality, straight and level at the top. The workmen cut trees out of the way and removed all debris. Fence It appears to be very busy and it did take about 6 weeks from the time of the estimate to actually getting the fence installed but weather was also an issue. We are impressed with the final result, it was worth the wait.

    Paradise Fence & Decks
Stephen contacted me soon after submitting a request through the Angie's List web site. We reviewed the work to be done and he took care of the rest. In two days, all old fencing materials were removed and new fencing with two new self-closing gates was installed. Stephen and his team were cordial, professional, and ensured we were happy with the outcome.
There was one issue with a severed irrigation sprinkler pipe which he quickly fixed once notified. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Paradise Fence and Decks for all your exterior needs in these areas. I feel I received a great value and can rest assured that my backyard is more secure and private than in days past.
