    BRUNO'S AUTO BODY & PAINT
Quite frankly, I would say they are the WORST SERVICE I have ever used for anything. I'll spare you the long details, however, dealing with Mario, who really is Maurice "phone balls" Rodriguez, the proprietor, was absolutely a horrible experience. If he doesn't agree with what you are asking or saying, he gets upset and lets the little Redneck JIm guy at the front desk handle your questions. All he'll say "it's up to the owner - I'm not the owner" and to be even more frank, that little Redneck Jim guy is just a plain liar. Everything he says is a lie. Do yourself a favor, find one of the many many many many auto body services out there that are not only much much better, they actually appreciate your business. BRUNO'S AUTO BODY JUST PLAINS SUCKS! And I dare them to prove me otherwise! I feel like they just stole my money. P.S. The owner's name is Maurice '***** Balls" Rodriguez.......so all Chelsea Rodriquez posts are B.S!

    Linton Paint & Body
It went very well, however, I have waited about six months before giving a review because I wanted to make sure the work done would hold up over time. Now seven months later I can say the paint job is as good as new. I have probably put on 2,000 miles or more on the car and driven on snowy and icy roads treated with sand and salt solutions since the body work was done. I can still say the workmanship was very well done. They were on time and very professional. I would definitely recommend them and will use their services again.

    East Coast Collision
Found this provider on Angie's list so I decided to take the car there to get the body work and painting done.  I regret that decision.  For me, the biggest problem was the quality of their work.

-- When I went to pick up the car, I was disappointed with the paint job.  The front quarter panel paint did not match the rest of the car -- it was a shade darker.  When I refused to accept it, I got an argument from the shop manager who said that the paint job was just fine and that I was seeing a reflection from the pavement.   Only after I called over 2 different customers and one of their workers  who all agreed that the paint was a shade off, did the manager acknowledge the mismatch and agree to repaint it.  Turns out that they originally pained the whole side of the car EXCEPT the front and rear doors, the parts that didn't match in color.

-- When I finally took the car, it seemed to be much noiser than what a Lexus should be.  As the car was still under warranty, I took it to the dealer to have it checked out.  They raised it up and showed me that the rubber plugs used to deaden the road noise coming into the passenger cabin were not replaced.  They sold me the part and installed it.  Total cost was $18.    The shop manager apologized and reimbursed me.  He said that he didn't even know that there were these plugs, strange, I thought, for a company that's  been doing paint and body work for over 20 years.

These 2 incidents alone, and there were other minor ones, lead me to be very disappointed with the quality of the work.  Yes, they made good on fixing it, but, from my perspective, only after I had to  go through a lot of agravation and time wasting.  I expected much, much better.

    Linton Paint & Body
My car was hit in a parking lot, while I was at a medical appointment.  I didn't see the damage to the passenger door when I got into the car. It was only later, when I tried to open the passenger door, and could not open it, without the door hanging up in mid-swing. There was little noticeable damage to the car, except for the door. I realized that someone had hit the car while it was parked.
I took the car to Lintons, because of the reviews on Angie's List. I was absolutely blown away by the service. The technician came out, looked at the damage to the car, and told me to open and close the door so he could watch. I did, and the door hung up again. He made an adjustment, and said "do it again". So I did, and the door opened a little more easily.  All told, he made less than a half a dozen adjustments, and the door opened and closed perfectly!
Even more surprising, when I asked how much I owed them for the fix, the answer was "nothing". I was so stunned, because I had anticipated having to replace the entire fender, when all it needed was a small adjustment.
Thank you, Lintons! You can bet you've earned my business from here on out!

    Tuff Coat Paint And Body
I called this shop to inquire about having work done on two cars.  One is a simple dent removal, the other would involve installing a custom grille for my 2015 Genesis sedan (which they would do) and about painting my brake calipers. (I have the special paint but now realize I'm not equipped to do the job)
I spoke with Phil, and after talking for a few minutes and saying I had the paint, etc., he said "Bring it down and let me take a look at it."
I jumped right in the car and drove 25 minutes, just to have Phil walk outside, look at it for LESS THAN 5 SECONDS to say "Nah, we don't do that, it's not worth the time".  I asked "Why'd I bother to drive all the way over here for you to just tell me that so fast?"  Phil gave me a dismissive, snotty look, turned and walked away.   Of course, this meant another 25 minute ride home.
    Here's what I don't get:
    1) They're brake capers; I'm sure he's seen one before and understands where they go and what they look like.
    2) If he could tell THAT quickly it was something they wouldn't do, he didn't need me to drive over there and waste my time.
    3) Most importantly, How does he know it's "Not worth the time"?  Phil never even quoted me a price.
Hey Phil, do you mean to tell me if I'd have offered you $1,000 to do the job, you wouldn't have taken it?
If this is an example of their attitude, I'll never go back to them for anything.
    NOT a professional attitude.

    STATEWIDE AUTO UPHOLSTERY
Took my Porsche to have the top replaced. Pick up the car and the next day the dashboard stated "Top Out of Alignment." Called Porsche and they said to not drive the car with the top down. Porsche serviced the problem and stated that Statewide did not install the top properly. Went back to Statewide to inform him. He made a few adjustments as I was getting wrinkles on the folds. Told me to water the top and wait three days. No help. Went back to Statewide where the owner would not stand behind his guarantee of work. Told me his could not afford to honor and to get a lawyer .I have reported Statewide to the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney general's office. Processor getting a lawyer

    Chip Eraser
Fender had a crumpled dent that could not be fixed by the paint-less method.   Came to my house for free estimate which was in the low range of body shop estimates and made appointment  for a week or 2 later.  Came exactly on time and bumped out, puttied and painted to an exact match of the metallic paint.  I later had some wok done at BMW and they were impressed with the job.  They were here on time, did the job at the estimate and were done under 5 hours as promised.  I loved it no need to go back and forth to a body shop and rent a car etc.  Definitely would use again (hope I don't have to!)

    Nickee's Automotive Center
Sophia, in the office, was very warm and welcoming, and listened carefully to what had happened, and what we were experiencing trying to get this relatively minor damage fixed.  She was uncommonly sincere, and was genuinely concerned for the customer.  She wanted us to be so satisfied with the services that we would refer other customers.  Then, her husband, Steve, who is the 'body guru' took a look at the vehicle and gave it a very thorough evaluation.  He looked at everything.  I did not tell either Sophia or Steve about the actual dollar numbers of the quotes, as I did not want to "nickel and dime" anyone or have them beat the price just to get the job. At the end of his evaluation, I was expecting another "telephone number" for the repair.  That never happened.  His quote was astonishingly low.  After hearing the price, I had to ask him to repeat it.  Not only was the price low, but he told me we had to be happy with the result or he would make it so.  He seemed to be more concerned with the quality of his work and his shop's reputation than money!   I could not believe what I had heard, and, after a couple of days in the shop for the body work, painting and drying, the finished product actually looked "factory new" -- just exactly as Steve had promised.  As everyone else has, we have dealt with auto body shops for many years.  NEVER have we found a more sincere, genuine, skilled, professional, passionate-about-their-work, and ETHICAL auto body shop as this family owned and run business.  I would use them anytime I ever had anything that needed body work.  I will recommend Nickee's to anyone and everyone who ever asks.  If anyone knows about Nickee's and doesn't use them, they are foolish -- and getting beaten out of a lot of money they did not have to spend.

    Dr Dent
The dent was small but was right on the natural crease along the side of the truck and was in a place where it was extremely hard for Robert to access the backside of it. I really thought he was going to tell me that he couldn't repair it but he said he was going to try any way possible to remove it. 75 minutes later the dent was 99.99% gone. I couldn't be happier that the eyesore on my brand new vehicle was gone and he did it right in my own garage. Very convenient!!  I'm very picky about my vehicles so when I say it was 99.99% gone, that's a real compliment to his work. He's very talented at what he does. Would recommend him to everyone.

    Dr Dent

I contacted Dr. Dent after reading several reviews here on Angie's List. I sent him pictures of the damage and he gave me a price estimate that was very reasonable. A few days later, he examined the car and confirmed the estimated price. A mutually convenient time was scheduled for the repair. He was prompt, efficient and performed an excellent job. I would definitely utilize his services again, if the need arose. I also intend to recommend him to my friends and colleagues.
