    Statewide Windows & Doors
Statewide Windows and Doors haveTerrible from Start to still not finished! Order was placed July 21st 2018. Was told 6- 8 weeks they would be ready. 4.5 months after Signing Contract still waiting for completion and 1 Third of the order are still not in. From signing Contract and payment Date it was 5 Weeks before the initial permit package was even submitted to local authority, It was ready for pick up 2 days later Statewide windows and doors did not go and pick up within next 5 so I picked it up and sent it to them. From this time I contacted Mgmt and asked for expedited service to meet Construction deadline. They went so far the other way its ridiculous. Initial order showed up for Install week before Thanks Giving. After first day of install they realised they measured 2 windows wrong by 20 Inches Each and One Side house Metal door was 6 Inches to Big,Missed One Window off the order all together and also messed up order of a French Door and Large Bay window which should have had an opening with 2 small side fixed windows( They sent 3 All fixed) I have been duped,Delayed, told Lies regarding dates from all in this company. They said today they hope to have windows arrive today and install in next 2 weeks. They are now no responsive,Non Compliant. My whole house was gutted renovated fully removing walls , Entirely Skimcoatted, New Kitchen, New Bathrooms,Electrical,Tile throughout 3000 Sq ft, Painted right up to every door and window opening 6-8 weeks ago and I'm still waiting to finish because of this company. Run away from this Statewide Windows and Doors as since I now started fully investigating them I have horror stories from other customers too. I went off a friends recommendation that had used them and had a good experience, I picked a middle price company as I did no want subpar products or service. Investigate all avenues folks its a lot of money and when it goes this wrong and company don't care or Call you anymore or show up when they are supposed too.Its terrible. Avoid Statewide Windows and Doors and Contact me on hear iif you want more pics or copies of any emails sent from this Company as proof I have it all.

Their team is amazing. Crew started next business day from our first meeting. Very professional and knowledgeable! They kept in close contact with me during the entire 2 week project and finished a day before our deadline. I have recommended this company to several friends and relatives!

    Sloan Hurricane Protection Inc
Mark, the owner of the business was a life saver for us during the last hurricane. I had been out of town and had to return to shutter up my house a day before the storm. I could not find my bags of studs and wing nuts and was unable to secure my shutters. After futile attempts at Home Depot and Lowe's (supplies were gone) i called Mark. He went out of his way to meet me at his shop and gave me what i needed at no cost. Who does that these days? I was able to finish my install in the wind and rain and it was all because of Mark's kindness. Something i would not expect with a storm at our doorstep.

I had used Sloan Hurricane Protection about a year or so ago to manufacture an accordion door for a job i had. They were on time and the quality and service was great. I even had problems with the install because of a physical disability i have and when i called for suggestions, Mark sent one of his techs out to help me at no charge. Great company, great employees, great products.

    Monster Construction Inc - MCI
Rob came out in October. Was very prompt and courteous. Gave us a great bid. We accepted the offer in Dec 2015 and gave them 50% down with a start date for the last week in Feb 2016. I called one week prior to the installation to confirm and was told the windows wouldn't be in for another week later than expected. We were delayed 2 more times. They call the third week in March 2016 and said the windows would be in next week and that I could pay them the next installment now. I refused to pay them until the windows were on my property, not theirs. They showed up a week later with some of the windows. The rest of the windows showed up a week after that. Our kitchen window was ordered as a clear window but showed up frosted. To this day (7/12/16) the job is still not finished - Roger and Rob are still saying the replacement window is back-ordered, delayed, showed up scratched, the wrong size.... you name it .... the excuse of the week. They are consistent in their ability to lie (that's if you can get them to answer the phone or return a call). They screwed up the permit process as well. Now I am having to deal with our municipality to get that whole issue taken care of. They quote great prices but you get what you pay for - horrible customer service and terrible mismanagement. I feel sorry for their workers who were very polite and did a great job with the installation once the windows got here. If I had it to do all over again, I would have gone with someone else. I lost money on delays to construction due to them and lots of personal time trying to fix the screw ups. Avoid them. Go with someone you can trust. By all means, if you do choose them, don't pay until the work is done!

    Atlantic Shore Home Improvement
Anthony Palermo is hard-working, punctual and extremely professional.  We agreed on the job to be done on a handshake and Anthony never disappointed.  He is detail-oriented, just exactly what you want in a craftsman.  As opposed to many companies, Anthony does not ask for payment in advance, rather as the job progresses.
He takes great pride in a job well-done.  When he sees a problem he fixes it.  There is never just a bandaid.  For example, the toilet flange that fastens the toilet to the floor (which you never see) was rusted.  He didn't just re-use it, he replaced it so as to not have a problem down the road.  The old adage of "measure twice, cut once" certainly applies to Anthony.  He made sure that he got our old walls in plumb so that the tile job, including border trim, would be beautiful.  He helped us in all aspects of this job, including referrals for a tub refinisher and counter-top fabricator, both great referrals.  We entrusted our home (and dog) to Anthony!  Our dog certainly enjoyed the occasional cookies from "Uncle Anthony"!  We enjoyed coming home every day to see what magical things Anthony had done!
We can't express what a joy it is to see these bathrooms every day!  We will definitely use Anthony's company for future projects in our home and recommend him to all.

Joe was recommended by my neighbor, I was looking for Hurricane accordion Shutters and got a few prices including Joe's which were all in the ballpark. I priced impact windows which were too much. Joe gave me a price for the impact windows and his price was a lot less. We did everything over the phone, I gave access to the house and he did a great job. I went down to see it a few weeks later and was very happy with the windows and the work.

    Guardian Storm Protection
Guardian Storm Protection - and Andy Kobosko in particular - are a rare breed of South Florida contractor.  They did precisely what they said they would, precisely WHEN they said they would, precisely HOW they said they would, for exactly how much they said they would.  Nothing changed from the estimate to the completion.  They worked around our schedule to make everything happen before we went away for our vacation, and they did everything in one day.  I cannot imagine what else we could ask for from them, and I will definitely be recommending them to everybody who asks.  We went through and checked all the shutters, and everything was just exactly so.
Thanks Andy!! We appreciate it all so much.

They replace a 40+ year old doorwith a fiberglass door with impact windows.  I wanted to use my present Medco lock but found the lock no longer fit the new door. So the installers came back later in the day to install the new Medco lock I purchased.

    Megibow Construction Inc.
From the first call I made, the owner was courtesous and helpful while listening to my requests. He agreed they could do the project and within both my budget and time frame. We scheduled a mutually convenient time to meet and he had all of the tools he needed with him and got the work done in a very efficient manner. All with a smile and positive attitude.

I was extremely unhappy with this company as there are two different ways to receive these doors, depending on how you would like to finish them. If you want to paint they are left untreated and if you want to stain them they must come treated. Well, the doors that I received did not come treated for staining, per my request and when I applied the stain to the window framing around the window area it all eventually peeled right away. They also installed some doors backwards and were forced to return to my home 2 different times to finish their job.
