    We phoned the evening before and left a voice message, saying that our A/C had stopped working. They called us back first thing the next morning and arrived to our residence when they said they would be here.
    and quot;Tomand quot; said that we had had a power surge/ lightening that had caused the A/C to break. He replaced our damaged motor module. Tom's service and friendliness exceeded our expectations/ He arrived to our home when he said he would and he was very professional.
    We have used this Company before and have always found them to be honest and above reproach.

    Sales / scheduling - Called to ask for a sales quote - got someone out the next day. Salesman was prompt and professional. Best quote by far out of 5 received. Gave him the job within an hour. Scheduled installation for the following week on the date/time of my choosing.
    Installation - installers showed up a little late. They were professional, diligent and hard-working. Toward the end of the job they under-estimated how long it would take to finish. Upon start-up and testing they discovered that the equipment did not come fully charged and they did not have enough freon in the truck to complete the job, so I had to schedule a follow-up visit the following week. Since this is April (not August) it didn't matter but this is something they need to fix for future installations. The follow-up visit quickly filled the system and made the system work fine.
    Follow-up - none yet. I would recommend that the salesman or a manager follow up on all completed jobs to ensure no issues.
    Overall I highly recommend -good price, professional installation. Some minor issues that are easily resolved.

    Mike was referred to me several years ago by my daughter that had been using Mike's services for her residence and rental properties. I have used Mike for years to repair my air conditioning systems at my residence and unlike most services I have used in the past Mike will repair your equipment rather than try to sell you a new system. When you call him he has always responded quickly and I have always felt his rates were a bargain and never felt up sell pressure. I referred Mike to a friend of mine three years ago and after years of trying to patch up an old AC unit to meet my friends budget Mike installed a new AC system. My friend and my daughter as I would not consider anyone else but Mike for our air conditioning and heating needs at 407-948-1952

    We discovered at noon that our AC wasn't working and it was already 82 degrees in the house and rising ... I immediately logged on to Angies List to find the closest AC company in the hopes of getting it repaired that same day.  I found this company and they had someone out within TWO HOURS. I was estatic!  They called when they were on their way, Luke was extremely professional and diagnosed the issue (fried capicitor on the compressor) in the first 5 minutes he was here. He had it repaired and up and running within 15 minutes.  Because the service call was for the first 30 minutes of diagnostics, he used the remaining time to clean off the coils, check the freon and do a general all-points inspection of not only that unit, but our other one as well.
    I simply cannot say enough good things about this company. Definite reccomend!
    Oh, and 10% off for AngiesList members was a nice bennie too :)

    They arrived promptly on schedule and went right to work.  It was an extremely thorough evaluation and maintenance and took quite a bit of time.  We were very pleased and won't hesitate to use them again.  Since the price was fixed, they could have just run through it, but didn't.  We were extremely impressed!

    It was great service.  My husband called them and they scheduled us in the next day. The technician arrived exactly on time and was very professional.  He went straight to work, discovered the problem very rapidly, replaced a fuse in our attic system, and we were back in business immediately.  He was courteous, careful about our cars since he had to go through the garage to get to the attic, and polite. We live a bit on the edge of town and it takes awhile for servicemen to get here, but he was on time and no complaints about how far out we were!  We will definitely use them again.

    They indicated that our coils needed to be cleaned (outside realm of the
    scope of this scheduled service) and the tech took pictures with his
    phone to show me so I didn't have to crawl up into th closet to see. 
    WHen I said that $ were tight, he explained how we really could do this
    ourselves. A definite reccomend for repeat work.

    The A/C went out on a Friday evening. The indoor and outdoor units sounded like they were running but the air coming out the vents was warm. I was afraid we wouldn'tet it fixed until Monday. I have had excellent service from Matthew Roberts A/C before so I called them around 7:00 AM on Saturday morning. I got a recording and I left my phone number. Within an hour or so they called my back and said someone would be out to fix the unit around noon. At about 10:30 AM a tech (Bill) from Matthew Roberts arrived.    Initially, he did not see anything wrong with the unit - freon was good, capicators good, only the compressor was not running. He went inside and notice that a new thermostat had been installed. It was a wireless, radio frequency controlled stat that was part of the newly installed security system. There was a brief one or two second power outage the night before and it was at that time the A/C stopped blowing cold. Bill said that sometimes these units did not reset correctly after a power outage. He switched off the breaker to the air handling unit for a few minutes and turned it back on again and that fixed the problem.    However, he did not stop there. He checked out the entire system and noticed an unusually high temperature change as the air went through the coils. After taking the panel off the air handler he found some trash inside the unit and the insulation on the inside of the panel was loose and obstructing airflow. Further, he found a second filter in the system that was cutting down the airflow. He reglued the insulation, cleaned out the trash, removed the unnecessary filter and the system then operated with the correct temperature change.    This house has had very high electric bills and I believe as a result of his thorough inspection of the system the money spent on the service will be recovered in electricity savings in two or three months.    Even though the service was at off-hours prices, it was still cheaper than I expected.    I strongly recommend Matthew Roberts A/C. I have given them A reports before and this is no exception. I am going to start with their twice yearly maintenance agreement now.

    When I first spoke with Mr. Whitson, the weather was clear and he said he would have a man out first thing the next morning. Well, it was raining and storming very hard so he called and said he would have him out that afternoon for sure and he did! Even though it was still raining and stormy, the technician came to repair our ac/heating unit and worked through the storm and got the job done!

    You may notice that most of my posts are positive.  That is because now I only use Angie's List providers that have a good rating.  I look for all A's;  however, sometimes people post poor reports when they never had the work done.  I look at overall level of satisfaction, number of reports, etc.  I have yet to be disappointed in an Angie's List provider.
