He came through surgery fine, and seemed to be recovering. When I saw him on the 3rd afternoon (Sunday), he had been up, walking, and had his first nourishment. Later at 7:15-7:30 pm, when I spoke with him on the phone, he was in terrible pain. No one would answer his call button. They'd removed his epidural that afternoon, but given him nothing else for pain. I received a Code Blue call about 3:20 am Monday morning. He soon expired, and I feel there was a serious lack of care that contributed to that outcome. When I arrived at the hospital, the nurses were extremely vague to me and to a to a friend about the cause of death. I obtained the records through my primary care physician, and the records were likewise vague and gave extremely little detail. My son (an ER Nurse with a BSN degree) was extremely angry from what I was told, and wanted me to file a malpractice case. It would not bring my husband back, and I refuse to go that route. Filing a wrongful death case would totally deplete my energy, finances and time. Nonetheless, I strongly believe there was serious lack of attentive care that contributed to his death. Cardiac arrest is on the Death Certificate, but had the nurse(s) been more promptly attentive, I strongly believe he would not have died!

    Not well at all

They say they have a 95 percent recovery rates.

They took a broad spectrum of patients from eating disorders. Depression. Physcotic patients, borderline personalities

There was yelling, a male counselor sat on females laps

People were rude and I felt so much worse when I left.

I scheduled an advanced appointment at CareSpot,12303 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville (Mandarin), FL 32223 but when I arrived  I was told that my appointment was scheduled for another location. I received a CareSpot confirmation notice the day before my appointment which showed that my appointment was scheduled for the San Jose Blvd. location and not another location. The person at the counter appeared to be confused and stated that she was able to pull up my information in the computer but it disappeared and she didn't know why. After noticing that several patients that arrived after me were receiving care before me I asked why. The person at the counter didn't answer my question and stated that she would take care of me once she got done registering three  people all of which who arrived after me. When I asked to speak to the office manager I was told that there wasn't one at that location which I found to be a little odd for a medical facility not to have a manager on duty.

I had an 11:00 a.m. appointment for a simple blood test and didn't depart CareSpot until 11:49 a.m. The service was slow and the staff was unfriendly and indifferent.

I arrived at my appointment and after filling out the medical information, was taken right into the office.  After a consultation with the doctor, I was diagnosed with trigger finger.  However, she ordered x-rays just to make sure this was the problem.  I was given a shot of cortisone in my hand (ouch!) and was home within an hour.  Within two days I had tremendous relief from my pain.  I was given a follow-up appointment if I was still in pain.  But since I got relief, I cancelled the follow-up appointment.  If my trigger finger returns, I will make another appointment immediately.  I feel the care was very professional and  competent  and I will certainly recommend them to my family.

I haven't found anything to be unhappy with at this point when it comes to Aetna. In the few times I've gone to the doctor they have paid what they said they would and I haven't had any discrepancies. Many doctors accept them and that is a plus.

They are quick. The doctors are helpful and I am in and out probably within an hour. They are very good about prescribing things and getting me squared away I've been seeing them for about 3 years. Most of them are foreign and have a little bit of an accent so I don?t always understand them completely but it hasn?t been an issue.

I've had excellent service with them. I always get reminder calls the day before. I've never had to wait 10 minutes. Everything has been great.
