ASchnettler Construction, LLCEverything went very well. Our cabinetry was ordered through Deems and we were anticipating a mid-January start for the project with Schnettler Construction being our contractor over the project. Mr. Schnettler came to us and asked if it would work for us if he started in mid-December due to the extensive demo needed in the master bath and the amount of tiling that would be done. We were more than happy with starting early. He is very easy to talk over ideas with the home owners and work through any issues with the ideas to come to a result that is what the home owner wanted. Very neat and clean with the work areas as well as being very conscientious about protecting the non-work areas of the house. We found Mr. Schnettler to be an excellent contractor and a pleasure to work with for our remodeling. We would not hesitate to hire him again.- Kathy S.

ATish FlooringTish gave us a great estimate and even broke it down so that we could do all or part of the job depending on what we could afford. We decided to do it all at once. They helped us with financing through a third party company. They used subcontractors for the installation but guaranteed their work and called to check on our satisfaction. They told us that they were very selective in their subcontractors and used only the best. I believe it. They were in my house for three days. They showed up when they said they would, they were polite and kept the house neat and clean. They did a fabulous job. The floors look wonderful and you would never know that they weren't installed at the same time the downstairs floors were put in.- Kathryn W.

AIt is only half finished. But so far everything is going very well. It takes about a month between the initial application and the finishing work. They are scheduled to return to complete the job the first part of January.

DWe used two different granite suppliers/installers for our house build. This is important because I got a direct comparison between two local businesses in this market. We decided to use Emerald Coast for the kitchen counter tops since Superior Granite ran out of the granite we wanted and this would have delayed our build. Superior did all the other countertops in our hose (4 baths and a laundry). In hind sight, I should have waited. Fit and finish of our kitchen done by Emerald Coast is overall sub par compared to Superior. Service is lacking as well. To summarize, we had issues with the finish quality of seams in the counter tops, as well as buffer marks/swirls on the counters. They routinely blamed the other subs for issues with the buffer marks and swirls, but no one else besides their tech (Mike) has run a buffer in our kitchen and the countertops were covered with cardboard to prevent damage from anyone else. It has taken over 18months to get to a point where they (Marcy) finally said we are "out of warranty" and they will not perform more work. So basically, we have a few swirl marks left that they refuse to address. Seams are "ok" at best. Marcy will not even return my phone call and sent me a "break up" email saying they won't do anything more. It looks like I will have to call another company (Superior Granite) to fix the issues Emerald Coast refuses to address. My opinion: save yourself the headache, look elsewhere for granite counter tops.

AJason's flooring was the last of three major projects in our home this Spring. Because there was a week's delay with the 1st project, we kept in touch with the painter and flooring contractors so they could work us into their schedule as best as possible. First they prepped two bedrooms and the adjoining hallway, then started laying the laminate only to find that some of the planks were defective in many of the boxes. This happened on a Friday and the following Monday a new lot number shipment was delivered to acclimate in our home. Each day this team came ready to accomplish as much as possible while respecting us and our home. Their attitude was positive and professional, the workmanship was perfect. The shoe molding matched our baseboards, had mitered corners and angled end pieces which was very pleasing to the eye. We found a beautiful color and textured product which works well throughout all rooms. What an improvement over the beige carpet!

AFuqua's team removed old shelving in our master closets, repaired the walls, painted, and installed a new door; removed a drop ceiling and old lights in kitchen, installed new lights, and painted and textured the ceiling to match the rest of the house; and did miscellaneous repairs (including plumbing and electrical work). They were helpful, friendly (even to our two dogs), professional, and cleaned up after themselves. We were very happy with the work and the level of service.
