FNeli Virtual Appliance RepairHandy was by far the most fraudulent company I’ve dealt with in a long time. The first scheduled appoint was never met. The second, rescheduled, appointment was never met. After multiple assurances that the credit card would not be charged until the work was performed, they immediately charged the account. The account was not credited until several later, after the credt card investigation services were engaged to investigate the fraud, This was one of the most corrupt, dysfunctional operations imaginable! I will strive to caution any and all acquaintances to steer clear of Angie’s List and Handy in particular! The Customer Service number was never answered and the account web site never workrd.- Gary Z.

AJulian Hall Appliance RepairI called and they asked me questions on what was going on. They showed up within the hour of calling, i live 20 mins outside of Lake City. They had the part and repaired in less than an hour and charged $64, the refrigerator has been working ever since, it’s been over 2 yrs since repair and the refrigerator is 12 yrs old!- Beth K.

ADade Appliance & Air Cond ServiceWe're on a service plan. They were excellent. My experience with them in general is that they're very, very fair with their price. I wish I knew more people in different industries like them, they're actually really really good. They've done refrigerator, they service air conditioning units, they've replaced air conditioning units, they've done washing machines, they've done dryers, they've done dishwashers and water heaters as well. Many times, they do it on the first visit because they carry a lot of the normal replacement parts with them. If not, they will normally just troubleshoot it, estimate it and they will come back the next day to finish the job. Only once or twice have I had to wait because a part wasn't available. Normally, depending on the job, one or two servicemen come out. Normally, it's one, for a bigger job or if they're training, they bring out two. Their responsiveness is really what makes them shine. They're very responsive. I've called when the air conditioner broke in the middle of July with an office full of employees and they will always say, "Hey listen, I can't promise you today," but whatever they say, they do. Likewise, when I'm not in a hurry for something, I'm like, "Hey listen, put it on for whenever you can. I don't need someone here ASAP."- Ralph R.

AThe experience was really great. The technician was very clear with his instructions and was able to follow the repairs as I did them. The only issue was with the initial setup of the video chat. But otherwise an incredible experience that I will definitely be using again. saved a boat load of money and I learned something!

Bwhen tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great

FAmerican Home Shield (AHS) warranty is replacing my broken microwave with a new one. I received the new microwave on 11/11/2020 and notified AHS it was in my possession. Part of the warranty contract includes the installation of the new microwave. AHS typically assigns contractors themselves. However, this time AHS contracted with C & R Services with a dispatch number on 11/13/2020 for C & R to assign a local contractor to do the install. After two weeks of waiting and not being contacted by C & R or a contractor, I called C & R to follow up on the status. They said it would be 1 to 2 weeks from the date they received the dispatch from AHS. I informed them it had been 2 weeks in which they replied that it would be another 2 weeks. As of today, 12/11/2020, 4 weeks from the date C & R received the dispatch, I have not been contacted by C & R or a contractor. C & R's lack of communication and customer service is absurd. AHS informed me that they do not have any authority over C & R.

FThey told me it was a covered repair and to get the work done and submit invoice and they would reimburse us. We got it done and submitted the invoice. After 3 months of constant follow up they covered part of the parts charge and none of the labor. Then, following up again, they responded with, WE ARE CLOSING THE BUSINESS.
