    Jessica at the main office was polite and helpful in gathering all of the information needed to diagnose the problem so the service call would go well, and let me know the cost ahead of time. Naturally he freezer was not making the noise when Mike arrived at our house, but based on the most likely cause, he replaced the evaporation fan. He called a half hour before coming as promised and efficiently replaced the part. The freezer has been quiet ever since he came.

    I scheduled a estimate with a Solid Foundations rep for a Monday morning and the rep told me he would be there between 7 and 8 in the morning. I had to call after 8:30 Monday to see if he was in fact still coming, the rep stated he was at a wire transfer location awaiting money because he forgot his wallet and needed money for gas to make it to meet me. I explained I had to leave for work at this point and could no longer wait and I was discoureged that I had to call him to find out his issues. He stated to call someone else, so I replied what's your bosses name I will call him he yells "call my boss I don't give a sh&t . So I called to explain my situation and another rep told me he would have the owner call me to reschedule. 1 week later and still no call. The solid foundations employee was correct they don't give a sh&t.

    I am a soldier who was away on orders. My wife called Cook's to replace our old AC/Heating unit. They sold us a nice AC/Heating unit along with a solar option. This was in August 2016. To date we have yet to receive the solar system at nearly 20k. The salesman promised her 8-10 weeks because of permitting time, which was reasonable. However, it is now December and no solar system. The managers hide under their desks I presume because they won't call me or her back. You can't get past the receptionist on the phone. I've asked to speak to a manager, sales rep, sales director, etc. and nothing. No call backs and no transfers. Our next call is to an attorney at this point. This company has a satisfaction guarantee but we are most definitely NOT satisfied and they are less than professional at handling customers or issues. I've already may complaints to the BBB and the state's attorney general's office. Solar means tax breaks but if you don't have it you can't get them and that's what they guaranteed.

    It was a pleasure dealing with them and I highly recommend this company. Michelle makes the appointments and she is super-dependable. They arrived exactly when they said they would and were very respectful of our property. Although tree work is very dangerous, they worked hard all day and finished the whole job safely in one day. They not only did an excellent job with the trees, they also did an excellent job with the clean-up.

    It was a full day of hard work non stop from 8:30 in the morning until a little after midnight that night.. And that was with only a 30 minute lunch break. It was hot. And I inadvertently made things worse when I rerouted the trench line after the initial work discussion in order to avoid a truck load of tree roots. I couldn't trench through them so I re-routed the original trench line which caused him to be about 5 feet short of the special underground cable that he supplied. That in itself caused him to do extra work including buying more cable and connecting a junction box on the outside of the shed. He supplied all the electrical cables, junction boxes both inside and outside , conduit, breakers, in ground 10 foot long lightning rod, some digging, outlet covers, and testing after everything was connected. He did not get upset with me for the re-route but simply stated we will have to add an additional junction box on the outside of the shed to make the connection.

    I live in Maryland and rent out a double wide to tenants in Fort White Florida. The tenants had been complaining of exorbitant electric bills. I called Clay Electric out to the home to try and determine what was going on. They surmised it could be some sort of water leak. The trailer uses well water and the pump in the shed kept turning on and off constantly.
    I found David Brown Enterprises here on Angies List, and called them out to the home. David instantly determined the problem to be that 2 toilets were constantly running due to faulty flushing mechanisms. He replaced them and put in 2 brand new rubber flappers. He only charged me $95. The pump would constantly kick on and off to keep up with the running water. Now that the problem is fixed I'm hopeful the electric bill will be decreased dramatically.
    David could have taken advantage of my being an absentee landlord. However, he did not. In addition to being honest and knowledgable, his price was fair. When they simply returned my call they were already heads and shoulders above the crowd, as many contractors in Columbia County do not even return calls. I highly recommend David Brown Enterprises.

    David and his wife are very professional, courteous and paid attention to our needs. The build took a little longer than expected but our home is perfect!  David paid attention to our needs and made changes along the way to our specifications.  We would recommend his company to anyone who needed a professional job completed.  We still hire David's company to do work on and around our property and are very happy with every job!
