This was by far the best work we have ever had done by anyone. Joe is a rare find and the work he does is outstanding. No need to continue looking for anyone else! We are having him do a bathroom remodel coming up very soon as well. He is our go to guy for anything we need! Highly recommend!!!

This was just too big a job for this contractor. The most disorganized poorly planned venture ever. All the work was done at least twice because of poor planning, poor skill, or lack of knowledge. David would show up briefly every morning then disappear. Nothing ever completed. Deck was half done, had to be completed finally by subs for the dock,Hardy board half done with incorrect nails, errors just caulked over, paint sloppily applied, overspray on windows, walls, and marble tile from ceiling work, windows incorrectly measured, glass broken Expensive items were lost, discardedor broken. I have never seen someone so unconcerned about shoddy work. (" I knew you would be unhappy if it wasn't perfect" -David Meyer) We were charged for hourly wages for his crew for work we could not see, that he could not demonstrate when asked. We have had to hire subs to repair work his crew did incorrectly. We had to fire his recommended subs and had to hire other subs to repair damage or poor work. He was very expensive because of the high cost of doing the job twice (or more, after hiring someone to fix errors aftera redo).

David always has an excuse. It is always someone else's fault, never his own lack of planning, supervision, or knowledge.

The entire process went very well.  I called the builder on a Sunday afternoon? They responded with an estimate within 2 hours.  By Monday we had a contract signed and ready to begin the construction?  The contract stated our expectations/specifications and payment arrangements.  We requested a start date which they stated would be October 28, 2013.  Construction began 4 days prior to the estimated start date with our permission (October 24, 2013).  It took the builder approximately 5 days total to finish the project on October 30, 2013 (There was no rain during this time)  It was obvious that once the builder began he would finish what he started which was extremely important to us. The builder kept us in the loop on every aspect and detail of the project.

As a consumer we believe in a few sayings, ? You get what you pay for and hind sight is 20/20??.In the past when we have said this to ourselves it was because we attempted to save money and gone the less expensive route, or we wished we had done it differently. I have had experiences with contractors who would start a job and not finish until months later, or request small payments of money intermittently and inevitably somehow end up costing more then expected? While this deck was a little above our budget , we got a well constructed deck built within code, built within a very short time?that we didn't have to do ourselves (huge bonus). We are very happy with the end result and the overall workmanship of the builder and his workers.J&J

I could not be more pleased. I was hesitant to use them again because of a bad review on here by someone else. I do not know those circumstances nor the person who wrote them, but I would trust Luciano to do a great job, keep me informed, and have no surprises. My neighbors and guests give me great pleasure when they see the job Delta has done at my house.

    Excellent!   Excellent!   Excellent!
-- these are the sounds of a satisfied homeowner. I have been on the planet for 67 years, and I could write a book on the pitfalls of not doing everything yourself.  I am a true cynic. So, when I take the time to write a review, it is because I appreciate an exception to the rule.
If you are looking for the perfect contractor/crew, David Meyer is it!  --  The initial site visit and subsequent quote submission were executed exactly according to schedule. -- Great price (I was cautious about contacting a contractor, as opposed to an individual, because I assumed the price would be higher - not so, I got three prior estimates.), convenient experience for homeowner, high quality results, motivated workers, many details taken care of without homeowner oversight, such as: plumbing, electrical, scaffolding, debris removal, clean-up, etc., etc.
David Meyer's crew behaves as if they each want to have a permanent, full-time job and keep it! -- unusual for many who work in construction.  They actually were time-urgent!  Each day of work, the crew arrived at about 6:45 AM, fifteen minutes prior to starting work. The quality of materials/nails/screws/primer/paint/wood was all first rate... stainless steal/galvanized/oil-based/pressure-treated to withstand our harsh saltwater environment.  David Meyer kept us aware of the plan for each day as we progressed. Method of payment and payment schedule was more than reasonable.  Mr. Meyer obtained appropriate permits, as needed.
The entire project was completed according to schedule and according to price.
    You won't do better!

It did not go good.  In the next couple of weeks  I spoke to both the draftsman and Mike D. several times and only got promisies.  Then, both seemed to have disappeared and I haven't heard from either.

He brought the portion of home repaired up to current building codes. The home looks better than originally constructed. He was punctual, professional and completed the construction on time and below budget. I highly recommend this builder for new construction, remodeling and home repair of any kind
