    Cal's Appliance Repair LLC
They called on a Sunday and suggested I call Monday at 8:30AM and set up an appointment, if I thought one was needed. I called Monday and spoke to Ben, and explained my icemaker started working so an appointment would not be needed. He was very helpful and told me if the icemaker started acting up, I could go to and buy a replacement. He then said Youtube had helpful instructions on installing icemakers and it was a pretty easy install job. Ben explained he was trying to save me money but If i need an appointment be sure to check back. I was very impressed and will certainly call for any other appliance needs I might have.

Great. This was the 4th time I've used this provider, although I've been buying appliance parts from them for years. They've fixed my washer, dryer, and dishwasher. DAP has never been a no-show for an appointment. They've never charged unreasonable labor or trip fees. I no longer do my own repairs, so next time I need repairs, I'll call them first.

After my friend's son and fiance purchased the washer and dryer, the owner told them he would deliver it but was on his way to go fishing and it would have to be the following day. The following day no one showed and there was no call to my friend or her fiance. Her fiance called and was given the excuse that the guy's boat broke down and he wouldn't be able to deliver until the following day. He did show up; but, dropped the dryer at the end of the driveway without a word. The only way she even knew the guy had been there was that the dogs barked when he pulled up to the driveway to drop it off. After doing 6-7 loads of laundry, the dryer quit drying. She went without calling the guy for a day or two and finally decided it needed to be fixed and called. She called Friday, early afternoon and was told to call back Monday. After going the weekend without a dryer, she called first thing Monday and was told to have her "husband" check the breaker and call back if there's still an issue. She and her fiance checked the breaker and found it to be in good working order; so, she called back. The first time she called, it rang once and went to voicemail. The owner called back seconds later and when she answered, he hung up. So, she called again and it, again, rang once and went to voicemail. She called the alternate phone number - apparently belonging to the son - and was given excellent customer service; however, the owner was next to the son and told him to tell my friend that she needed to call the other number she had been calling and she would be assisted. She, extremely upset at this point, had her fiance call. He was told someone would be sent out shortly. Two and a half hours and 3 phone calls later, the son of the business owner showed and repaired the dryer.
She wrote a review on the business's Facebook account and was harassed to remove it for close to a month. The owner sent private messages to her facebook stating she had the wrong business and to remove it immediately. She explained to him that it was her fiance who'd made the purchase and left the review. On Sept. 28th, the owner, without explaining who he was, sent her fiance a text to his phone asking that the negative comments be removed. Because they were dealing with other things, neither she nor her fiance knew who this person was or why they were asking for things to be removed from online. On Sept. 30th, she received a cease and desist letter from the business threatening to sue if the comments were not removed. She removed them. Later that evening, she was looking through her facebook messages and found that the owner had sent her 3 messages that contained very inappropriate name calling and threats - even though he stated he noticed the review had been taken down.

I called Cal's Appliances and they were very very friendly and competent. They were very efficient. I had a problem with the ice-make and it is an older refrigerator. We are going to remodel our kitchen soon so we decided not to fix it. He said it could potentially cause a problem so he wanted to take it out for us. He went above and beyond. They are very very nice. I liked the quality of their work and their quick availability. I would highly recommend them.

Called Cal's and got a prompt response and convenient estimate that same day from the responding technician. The issue was readily identified and explained in layman's terms. The parts came in as estimated (2 days) and the repairman was on time after he called to confirm we were at home. He performed the work in about 1.5 hours and all seems right again. If the repairs hold; I can't think of anything but praise for Cal's. We'll call them again if we have a repair issue in the future.

Had to have them back for same washer 6 months later. Same great service; this time he came and called time of death and advised to to move on - saved us from a costly repair that would have likely been followed by another.

The gentleman that comes is extremely professional and extremely reasonable. I have recommended him to other friends who have been very pleased with him. He comes out and does a service call and charges $45. If that doesn't fix it, that charge is applied to the cost of the repair. In my opinion $45 for a service call in this day and age is extremely reasonable. I would recommend them. The cost of the repair was a lot cheaper than buying a new dishwasher. Appliances today aren't what they used to make so I was very pleased. I would absolutely use him again.

Great company! Ben give me great advice as to some of the problems wrong with my washer and even talked me though taking it apart. He discribed the companies rates in detail and talk me though the process of what his repair guy would do. I thought the washing machine had a bad timer and was ready to buy a $76 part! If I never talked to Ben I would have paid somebody between $150-$200 to pull out a baby sock suck in the pump. I mean this guy helped my trouble shoot !! As long as I live in Fort Walton Beach I will use this company for all my appilance needs! The other guys companies in the area I call almost made me feel like I was bothering them. Any time a service company saves you money they are the real deal! DB- Fort walton beach

Extremely well. The repairman was on time, courteous and efficient. He listened to my description of the problem so he found a solution quickly. The repair was finished in 15 minutes and I was just charged for the service call, the part and one fourth of an hour of labor.

He came and fixed the shorted wire and then a week later he came back out-didn't charge me a trip fee at all, and fixed the handle for free. We had just moved from Tampa and didn't know who to call or anything. He was great.
