Dr.Goldberg is always friendly and engaging. He always makes me feel welcome and comfortable. I appreciate him giving me suggestions on how to sleep better, and exercises to help me feel better as well.

I would say they were all a 'B' experience. It's fantastic staff but the doctors seem to be rushed. They seemed to be rushed and some of the staff seem to be rushed. The professionalism is great, I think it is fine it is just like a lot of facilities, understaffed.

Both ER visits were late at night- November was about 2 am- I was only person in wait area, saw a doctor within 10 minutes of arrival- After treatment, I had no further pain and did not follow up with my family MD as directed. I paid for that mistake 5 wekks later. On a pain scale of 1-10, I had an 11 !! ER was VERY busy that night- HELICOPTERS!!-but I was seen in less than 1/2 hour. Every one I dealt with was kind, compassionate, the entire facility was spotless clean- especially the lobby rest room!! With gallstones, you get a real urge to closely examine toilet bowls.
On 12/30, I was scheduled for out patient surgery-was greeted with complimentary valet parking, immediately processed, and was prepped for surgery on schedule-I was placed in recovery room on main hospital-saw my roommate who was staying overnight get and quot;room serviceand quot; food delivery, just like in a hotel-sweet
All nurses were terrific-even the housekeeper checked on condition of our room while I was there
    A great experience

It went very well. They worked as a team and each knew what his or her job was and were most helpful to each other.

The room I was in was clean and looked like it had been scrubbed recently. Dr. Hicks checked on me two or three times during the course of my hospital stay. Even if it was just to say all the tests are not completed yet and making sure I was ok. Dr. Hicks team is a team that will make a lot of people happy the way it made me feel happy. We were seen without so much as a wait. If you ask what makes a hospital great the answer is always the same . Gather up the best doctors then surround them with the right staff. It's a WIN WIN all the way. Make sure the rooms and really everywhere are shined and polished.
All A pluses from my experience.

They are very good. Their trauma and emergency room is very upscale because people don't have to sit around waiting for hours for treatment. They attended to me quickly and did not leave me waiting in the sitting room for hours. When I was in another hospital I was sitting in the waiting room for 6 hours with a dislocated shoulder. Their office environment is very clean. Their bedside manner was really good and let me know what was going on all the time.

I didn't like the nursing care or food at St. Lucie Medical Center. Their lab screwed things up so bad they misdiagnosed things, they are horribly expensive, and I would never go there again. The doctors were nice, the staff were very friendly, and the environment is clean.

They took really good care of me. Every nurse yet that I had was attentive and friendly. They were all good. I went to the emergency room and they diagnosed me and kept me for a day to watch me. I had a doctor and staff there. It was really good. The specialists that were there were good. They came to talk to me. The specialists that were on call were trustworthy and good doctors. I was there in July and I was to get there again in October but they were full. I would have checked out two to three hours earlier if they had not been so full. I was waiting for discharge for a while. That is seasonal. During the summer, there were not any problems at all. They were good about answering questions. They were very organized about their billing and administration.

The have cardiac care and it is also a trauma hospital. The room that my mom had been in had not been cleaned for God knows how long. Nobody offered to give her a bath and I took care of it all. I have had people say that it is pretty good, but the girl that was in the room with my mom with a gunshot wound had been in that section and she hadn't had a bath since they had put her in that room. She was a trauma patient with a gunshot wound and I wondered why there were infections in the hospital. I have worked hospitals and they mop the room even with patients in them and they would dust them, but here nobody even came in and the bathroom was dirty. I had to report someone every time I was in there because of uncleanliness mostly and I stayed the night because I didn't trust them. I made sure my mom's bed was changed and I made sure she had a bath. With regard to availability, they weren't really that available and hopefully they are changing as most of this had happened while my mom was alive and her last hospital stay was horrible and that was back in September 2011 and she passed away a month later. With regard to bedside manner, some of them were good, but most of them hardly showed up. They didn't effectively treat her and once they found out I wasn't going to let her, they then put her through a lot of testing and poking and prodding. She was 86, she had Alzheimer's, she had cardiac problems, and she had been there because she had had a grand mal seizure. When I brought her back home, her legs weren't working and she just, I think, gave up.

When I had my hip replacement at Martin Memorial, the rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and they were right there when I needed them. I was served on time and when I told them what time I wanted my dinner, it was there. Everybody there was friendly and helpful.

My experience there is great. All I know is people there are very nice. When my husband had a heart attack, they stabilized him. They were terrific. Their ambulance comes within minutes whenever we call them. They treated us very good.
